Just got Very first BFP!! Due May 2019 anyone else??

Just wanted to start a new thread for anyone who has just got their BFP.
What do I do now?
When do I phone the Drs?
Help would be great 👍🏻😃

Scan went well yesterday even though they put me at 6w when I though I was at 7+4. I will wait to see what the NHS say at my dating scan in a few weeks. I feel better knowing everything’s ok in there, baby had a strong heartbeat and there’s only one. I was surprised at how little it was though, bless it.

It is today. This afternoon. Ill let you know what he says 🙈

Totally. I cant think about anything else and just want to know it is not eptopic as my symptoms have all gone apart from sore boobs. I ahpuld be happy but it makes me nervous. Lol

Thats great news 👍. Good to have an accurate date although tat means i might he a week earlier and they might not see anything on the scan. Oh well. Will see how it goes

@India1819 The scan was awesome. It may only be the size of a blueberry but it still made me cry with relief that it was there and in the right place. There was a flicker of a heartbeat which he said would be stronger next week. He also said my cyst should not be a problem despite being 5 times the size of the baby!

He wasnt concerned about my lack of symptoms (although boobs are much bigger / bonus) but said to expect to get sick in next few weeks.

I feel so much better and don't regret paying for it. I have a picture of the scan and keep looking at the little dot and getting tearful. What the heck has happened to me. I never cry! 😆😆

@SafariGirl100 amazing! So pleased for you that all is OK and you have been reassured! How far are you? Did they manage to do it externally or was it internally?

Congrats to all and fingers crossed for those that are worried about mc. It's early days for me but I'm due end of May! I'm 38 and it's my first. Anyone else in this position? So far my only symptoms is extreme fatigue. Still managing to work etc so probably not that extreme lol I read somewhere that taking the Pregnacare vitamins & folic acid in the evening after dinner helps avoid sickness! So far I've had none but early days yet!...

I've got a scan booked for 9am tomorrow morning having it at epu as the pains I was having haven't gone away at all by my dates I should be 6 +2 so fingers crossed that I can see a heartbeat and everything is ok

Thank you, I need to be positive however not really feeling it at the moment. I'm just praying for good news at least it's first thing so I don't have to wait all day worrying. I think once you've had 1 loss you just worry about everything x

@India1819 @cowchickenduckdog I was able to have the scan externally (cold gel on belly). We could see it clearly as a 1.5cm blob and a flickering inside which is the heartbeat. Amazing when it is so small.

He said having it at 7 weeks is better as can see more.

@Lovewinemorethanhusband I’ll keep everything crossed for you. It’s understandable to have bad feelings when you’ve been through a loss, but stay positive and I’m sure it’ll be fine xx

Midwife rang me today, the receptionist had written last period in July instead of aug on the notes so she thought I was much further along haha. Appt on 22nd so I think I'll already be close to 10 weeks. Hoping the scan will be pretty soon afterwards.

@WoogleCone yay! Due date buddy! I've worked that date out myself but I've had IVF so it was a little tricky. Will know more when I have my 7 week scan........and also confirm how many there are 🙈😳

@WoggleCone I’ve had ivf too it’s hard to work out isn’t it! I’ve got my 6 week scan on the 3rd!! Hopefully it will be explained properly to me then! All I know is that the egg was fertilised on the 5th Sep and transferred to me on the 10th. Xxx

I put the date of my 5 day transfer in and it worked it out for me. I had two Day 5's transferred on 6th Sept.

Hi everyone. I don't think I've joined this thread yet, but it's difficult to know!!!

Very shocked to find out last week I'm pregnant, we've been trying for almost 2 years and in the waiting list for ivf so had completely given up o a natural conception. I'm 5+2 today and have been having periods or queasiness/nausea and my left boob looks massive.....

I booked an early scan for 7 weeks, just felt I'll be worrying so much if not and it splits up the wait. Looking forward to it a lot!!

@Lovewinemorethanhusband at that point I think we'll only be able to see a tiny blob and a heartbeat. As long as I see the heartbeat that's enough for me x

@Rubberduckies. Congratulations!!! I gave up 15 yrs ago then fell naturally at 41. Anything is possible in the miracle of life. My boobs have doubled by week 5 but now at week 6 I feel perfectly fine. Just sleeping more.

I am due May 24th. The 27th is my birthday so it will be a close call 😆

@cowchickenduckdog, I'm the same as you (38, first pregnancy), a couple of weeks ahead at 7+5.
Just waiting for my booking appointment on 10/10, then scan at end October.
Only symptoms have been tiredness, sore boobs and some indigestion... Hoping all ok!

Had scan this morning, they could see an egg sak but nothing else had bloods done for HCG levels and will again Friday then a scan next week. The nurse said that its going the right way and I may just be earlier than I thought as may have ovulated later than normal
