Just got Very first BFP!! Due May 2019 anyone else??

Just wanted to start a new thread for anyone who has just got their BFP.
What do I do now?
When do I phone the Drs?
Help would be great 👍🏻😃

@TwinkleBear I am fortunate (sort of). I have an ovarian cyst which is being monitored by a gyn specialist and I just happened to have an appointment for a scan with him for the cyst. Now i am preg (he was shocked as he said it would never happen as i also have endemetriosis) the scan falls on week 7 so Ill be getting an early scan in 2 weeks. I am SO SO nervous but glad I dont have to wait until 12 weeks.

He never gives me good news so I am dreading it. Longest 2 weeks of my life. Lol. Roll on oct 3rd!!!

me too got a positive last Sunday and 1-2 weeks clear blue on Monday does anyone have any idea when I'm due as I didnt have a period due to implant being removed. congratulations everyone. xx

I’m booked in for a private scan in a couple of weeks when I’ll be 7+3. There’s no way I’d be able to wait until my 12 week scan!

Sorry for the long post been MIA for a few days so responding to several comments.

Awww @Bettyhop and @Countrygirl94 I like "pip" and "poppy"! Cute!

I've definitely been hit by the wall of tiredness yesterday and heavy slightly sore boobs, but thankfully still no morning sickness and praying everything is ok.

Haven't really been having continuous cramping but on and off twinges and pulls that are a bit worrying but hopefully ok.

@Mummytoboyxx Dr. Google is evil! Looking anything up will almost always lead to something saying that it leads to miscarriage. I'm just trusting the NHS foods to avoid list and trying to follow that.

@SafariGirl100 Praying your doc is able to give you good news for the first time!

It's crawling so slowly. 7+3 today. Feels like every day is a week! 3 more weeks until booking in appointment.

The insomnia is slowly killing me off! Between night shifts and have only had 4 hours sleep tossed and turned all day. Also feeling like I've rubbed my nipples gently on a cheese grater 😳 trying to take each little sign as a positive thing that everything is progressing normally in there🤞

I have a private scan today (7+4) so getting increasingly nervous as the time ticks on. I’ve been so sick with this baby so far and the wall of tiredness hit me last night and I feel asleep before my 2 year old!

Swear mums have a pregnancy radar. This weekend when at DM's she was acting weird few odd comments as if she knew and now today DH has just text to say MIL straight out asked him if I was pregnant!
Think we are going to have to tell them though I'm only 5+4.
Also so extremely tired today, haven't had any morning sickness.
@Youvegotafriendinme hope everything's gone well with your scan.

@Countrygirl94 we told our parents when we were 6 weeks as it was easier than trying to avoid the subject and if anything were to happen I would rather there support. It just depends how you feel.

Gah, my phone is being weird, sent too soon! It won't let me press enter to make a line space 😒 I was freezing at work today and really tired, almost nodded off at my desk, whoops! My boss is one of the few that know though so I wouldn't get told off haha. Going to have to tell mum soon, were visiting in a couple weeks and she'll wonder why I'm not necking wine with her haha

Hi, I’d love to join too! I’m 5+2. So nervous after a miscarriage/chemical last Sept. Due 25th May I believe. I’ve got a private scan booked for when I am 7+3. It’s seems like 2 years away, not two weeks!!!!!

@farminerbump we chose to tell my parents tonight and will tell DH's tomorrow. Feel so much better now they know.

@WoogleCone I haven't heard from midwife either, phoned last week and they said I would get a phone call or letter about an appointment.

I have also booked an early scan for 14th October. Deciding factor was that realised my parents will be on holiday around time of 12 weeks.

I know it is neurotic but I have booked for a 6 week private scan today. I cant sleep from worry and just need to know it is in the right place and not eptopic as I am high risk.

It was not cheap to do it private but if it helps me feel better i figure it is worth it.

Have i lost the plot? Ha ha

@SafariGirl100 I think it’s a good idea too. I don’t think you can put a price on your mental health. Happy Mum=Happy Baby. If it’s going to stop the stress and worry then it’s totally worth it. I’m booked in next week when I’ll be 7+3. Good luck today x

I've just enquired about booking an early scan too. On the one hand I think things can happen afterwards so not sure if it will actually put my mind fully at rest but at least i'll know if baby is definitely in the right place and that it isn't an empty sack :(

I also have a private scan next Thursday. I'll be 6+2 x
