I’m 31+3 with a little girl (due end of October but hopefully I don’t go overdue even though it’s my first as I already have too many November birthdays in the family!)

Sophwalms · 27/08/2018 19:48

Oh congrats! How are you feeling xx

I’ve been fine mostly; pregnancy so far has been luckily smooth sailing (touch wood) though this weekend I seem to have turned into that stereotypical hormonal pregnant lady you see on telly 😅 my poor husband. How have you been coping?x

riaviolet · 27/08/2018 20:21

I'm due on Oct 15th.. Due to go on mat leave from the 14.09...

Sophwalms · 27/08/2018 20:24

@Thegirlhasnoname oh my god im the same! I'm a total bitch, crying half the time or wanting to kill him with my bare hands! Lol only started this past week! Hope I snap out of it.

I'm due on 12th. I have been very hormonal most of pregnancy but now seem to be snapping out of it a bit. Finally. My poor DP!

Sophwalms · 27/08/2018 20:26

@riaviolet how are you getting on? Bet you can't wait to finish! I finish on the 10th counting down the days now xx

riaviolet · 27/08/2018 20:28

@Sophwalms - Other than the exhaustion, the pregnancy is going smoothly.. I'm expecting a girl.. Have brought all the baby stuff now.. Just need to pack the hospital bag!

Sophwalms · 27/08/2018 20:29

I found out the same day!! I know I can't remember being normal! I hope I go early too. My son was late so I'm hoping the 2nd baby is on time x

riaviolet · 27/08/2018 20:37

@Sophwalms - In the next coming weeks.. Been watching YouTube vids to decide what to pack 😂

How long are you taking for mat leave?

Peanut91 · 27/08/2018 20:38

Im due on the 10th and finishing work on 6th sept (3 weeks of annual leave first) so only have 8 days of work left. Cannot wait!

Sophwalms · 27/08/2018 20:39

@riaviolet yeah I'm going to pack mine soon, I'm going for 9 months and I'm unsure if I will go back as with my 1st I went back when he was 3. So I don't know, what about you xx

riaviolet · 27/08/2018 20:52

@Sophwalms - I'm taking 39 weeks plus 4 weeks annual leave.. Never had so much time off before!

I've started to experience Braxton Hicks so getting very nervous about labour.. Being the first time and all that..

Sophwalms · 27/08/2018 20:54

@riaviolet yeah I'm getting braxton hicks a lot. I'm sure you will be fine, just can't wait to have him now. Are you having a boy or a girl x

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow, due 9th October with a baby boy. Have a daughter who's 3 and a half and a complete handful now I'm unable to run around after her due to PGP.

I'm so excited to meet him but completely terrified of how on earth I'm going to cope with 2! DD whilst totally amazing, is on the go from the second she wakes to the minute she goes to bed.

Clarashan · 28/08/2018 01:47

Hi All, I'm 33 weeks today due on the 16th with a girl. I'm not going on Maternity until the end of Sept so will hopefully get 2/3 weeks to relax. I feel like i'm completely ignoring the fact I have to go through labour I'm really not thinking about it. Don't know if this is the best strategy but it does mean i'm not worrying about it!

Sophwalms · 28/08/2018 17:23

Well I hope everyone's labour goes well! I get so nervous at times but then so excited at other times. Hormones are crazy and I'm abit of a wreck and look awful! Xx

Also 32 weeks with baby boy! My second - first is 5! Much bigger & much more uncomfortable with this one. Finding it hard and wondering how I’m going to manage working up to 37 weeks 😬

Sophwalms · 28/08/2018 17:50

Yes my 1st is 5 too I'm much bigger with this baby. I don't no how much bigger I can cope with it waddling lol xx
