How’s everyone else this morning? I was super weepy yesterday but got some cuddles with the babies from my antenatal group, so that was nice. Also went for 3 walks with the dog to try to get things moving and I’m pretty sure my waters went a couple of hours ago, so once I’ve had my breakfast and pulled myself together, we’re off to the hospital to check. Fingers crossed we might be in business!

39 weeks today - I'm desperate for anything to happen now but I just know it won't, the thought of another 3 weeks is about enough to send me into deep despair.

@lifechangesforever hopefully it wont be another three weeks!!! The wait at the end is blooming awful id nearly say its worse than the 2WW!!
@KTD27 omg she is beautiful how have you been able to set her down!!!

@lmx0 I never had to experience the 2WW because this pregnancy was a complete surprise to us! We'd not used contraception for 4 years so believed it wasn't something that wasn't going to happen for and were OK with that at this stage in life - but all that changed rather quickly and I now I don't know what I'd be doing otherwise!!

But yes, the wait is not good - especially when on your own all day and in your own head. Thankful for 2 beagles to keep me company!!

Can’t wait for more updates from those of us left on the waiting-for-labour train! 38+2 .. officially on mat leave until 8 Jul 19.. cant stop lounging around as am quite tired, keep thinking i should just bounce on my ball permanently ha! Also thought my waters were possibly leaking this morning on dog walk but turned out to be (tmi) serious discharge, although I have heard it increases pre-labour? No colostrum as yet either. Hm hm hm.

@BeardofZeus i could of wrote that!! I thought mine could have been leaking a bit but think its just dc really uncomfortable today was on my ball for over an hour and came for a lie down as its only way the discomfort eases any

I'm not feeling very well this afternoon, had a few very strong BH's this morning (to the point I cried out) and extremely tired. Had a nap and I've woken up feeling like I've had a sickness bug and I'm weak from it - not what I need if Labour was to start lol. Also got backache - just in general uncomfortable all round to be honest!!

Well after a couple of hours in the hospital this morning, not quite sure where we stand really!

They said it wasn’t my waters, but I had a major show and the midwife told me baby was fully engaged, cervix has dropped and softened and they might well expect me back in the birth centre tomorrow. She did a very vigorous sweep and sent me up for a trace by which time I was having some mild contractions and doc who reviewed it said we might be on the way. Came home and walked the dog for an hour, had a lie down and now everything seems to have stopped

Need this baby to get herself properly moving before Friday night to avoid the induction!!

I feel miserable today back hips and butt hurts pms type tummy feeling and few cramps had a lie down earlier which eased for a bit but back up again on my ball also (TMI) watery d/c so not loving life today!! (I know i shouldn't complain!)

Life ive been getting lots of BH today. Don't have a bloody clue why but its getting on my nerves lol 32 weeks tomorrow

Sk still progress! Better than last week!
Hopefully your body is just having a little rest before things kick off.

That's what I keep telling myself to distract from the utter miserableness I've now been in bed since 1pm - just feel listless but annoyed with myself for not wanting to move. I may go do some bouncing shortly though.
