Got happy thinking baby wad on the move lol
Hes just wedged himself a little more under my left rib

lmx0 · 14/07/2018 16:30

@LostMyBaubles i think its ok not much of a taste but ive read alot of women cant drink it its a bit fruity but not overpowering

lmx0 · 14/07/2018 16:30

@LostMyBaubles awww no way!! Little monkey!!

LostMyBaubles · 14/07/2018 16:36

Dates!! Get some dates down you!
Fresh ones do good

lifechangesforever · 14/07/2018 16:43

I bought 40 bags of raspberry leaf tea - I can't bare to drink anymore of it though 😩 might have to force some down tonight.

Madam has definitely dropped today and is very active - lots of very low movements that make me want to squeal but I reckon she's staying put for a while now. DH is more impatient than me!

lmx0 · 14/07/2018 17:05

@LostMyBaubles dates do not appeal to me what so ever 🤢 however maybe in 2 weeks ill force myself to eat them
@lifechangesforever thats a good sign at least shes moving in the right direction!!

LostMyBaubles · 14/07/2018 17:23

You can get choc covered dates, dates with nuts in, date spread lol
Theres some really nice dates in asian super markets

Life
Ahh yes, moving in the right direction!

lmx0 · 14/07/2018 18:08

@LostMyBaubles really?! I may keep my eyes peeled for them!!

lmx0 · 14/07/2018 21:56

How are we ladies? Im currently exhausted sore back and a bit uncomfortable so having a little bounce on my ball

lifechangesforever · 15/07/2018 05:54

Still waiting @lmx0 ! Did lose a lot of mucus last night though so I'm hoping that's another sign that things are moving along Grin lots of dull cramping, just like period pains really.

How are you?

laurG · 15/07/2018 06:34

@lifechangesforever

I’ve just woken up with period pains too. Week over due so hoping this is the start!

lifechangesforever · 15/07/2018 07:23

Fingers crossed @laurG as frustrating as all this is, it's very exciting at the same time!

It's my 30th today, been up since 4.30 so at least I've opened all cards and presents if she decided to start an appearance Grin DH bought me a GoPro amongst other things so there may be some birth videos to shoot ha!

splendidsqueak7 · 15/07/2018 07:25

30 + 2 and Having a fret: measured by fundal height myself y.day and it was 32cms, might it get bigger by tomorrow?!. Got a MW appt. monday, bit scared she’ll tell me I’m measuring big and that I need to get it checked out for signs of anything worrying. I’m meant to be flying out to Spain in 2 weeks for a last hurrah (will spend most of it in the pool!) but worried if I’ve measured big I won’t get my fit to fly signed :s Fret! Obvs if there’s something wrong I wouldn’t be worrying about not going to Spain, but I know the fundal height measurement isn’t precise and often doesn’t indicate things are wrong. :s

lifechangesforever · 15/07/2018 09:05

@splendidsqueak7 you've hit the nail on the head about fundal height being inconsistent. I have measured 2-3 weeks ahead this entire pregnancy (I'm 39+4 now and last measurement had me at 42!) but when I had a scan for reduced movements, it showed baby was bang on the 50th percentile, which means she's exactly the size she should be.

As long as your growth tracks along a curve (I.e. you don't measure huge at one appt and then no growth at the next appt) then the midwife isn't likely to be worried. Smile

lmx0 · 15/07/2018 12:15

@laurG & @lifechangesforever heres hoping babies are on the move!! Im okay today just tired

TheGrumpySquirrel · 15/07/2018 12:18

Ffs no sign of hot weather ending. 35 weeks tomorrow and horribly uncomfortable physically, hip pain and huge round bump. My DC1 was born at 35w so I've never been this pregnant before!! Praying for a 37 seeker.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 15/07/2018 12:18

Weeker

LostMyBaubles · 15/07/2018 12:58

Splendid I was measuring 8 WEEKS ahead via fundal height!
Had a scan and im measuring around 2-3 weeks ahead which is a bit more easier to cope with lol

What you have to remember is in there is
-baby
-amniotic fluid
-placenta
And everything from before too
So fundal height isnt accurate
Im going to be refusing more measuring this way as it just caused me to stress out too much
(Apparently baby was 8 weeks ahead at 29 weeks. 31 weeks no difference in measurement so it seemed like he hadn't grown in 2 weeks which was very worrying)

Happy birthday Life FlowersCake

This weather is taking the piss
All the kids have done is constantly bicker all day which is unlike them

Ive done a big deep clean in living room (washed walls down too) and now im bloody knackered
Again.

SlimGin · 15/07/2018 23:40

Evening ladies! Hope you've all got your feet up and keeping nice and cool. I went for a walk and after about 5min got too hot and turned back!
Happy Birthday @life Grin

And yes agree re: fundal height being inaccurate. I think is a good general guideline but much like bmi there's so many things to consider. So many people have 'guessed' how many weeks I am and often below by about 4-8 weeks which just made me paranoid my baby's too small. She is measuring perfectly though.

I've had a fairly stressful 24hrs so have treated myself to a new Hoover and chocolate. How things have changed! Little miss is kicking away inside of me and kept me grounded.

lmx0 · 16/07/2018 02:09

You hear more often than not about fundal hight being wrong as pp said there are alot of factors to consider
@SlimGin hope the chocolate and hover helped!! And i 100% agree how times have changed its the little things in life feet up and relax and if still stress at least you can suck your stresses away with your new hover!! 😁😂

lifechangesforever · 16/07/2018 12:38

How everyone getting on today?

Still nothing here really, although bump looks weird today and is very squishy - I'm hoping it's a sign she's on the move down but it's probably not ha!

BeardofZeus · 16/07/2018 13:52

Having a helluva day here! Slept funny last night so the left side of my rib cage on my back hurts when i breathe in too deeply, or move awkwardly. And I have discovered I move more awkwardly when pregnant and trying to get off the sofa! It hurts!! Need someone to crack my back for me I think. Sigh

LostMyBaubles · 16/07/2018 14:46

Slim which choc and more importantly which hoover??

Life do you think baby has moved down a little??

Beard if you start ti feel breathless with that pain do get checked out

I have sore bump today
Like period like

The movements that I had last night though! Full on for hours non stop.
I was sure he was trying to turn but ive just felt his head at the top of bump!

lmx0 · 16/07/2018 16:16

@lifechangesforever heres hoping 🤞🏻

@BeardofZeus poor you hope your discomfort eases soon all fun and games pregnancy is (NOT!)

@LostMyBaubles could be a bum? Heres hoping he has moved into the correct position!!

I hate the world today!! Not much sleep last night (thanks too DH & little miss who was partying!) i just cannot be bothered and according to my mother she thinks ill go very soon (bullsh*t) think ill have a nap and hope i wake on the better side of the bed! 😂 hope the rest of you ladies are having a far better day!!

PirateWeasel · 16/07/2018 17:13

Hi everyone - loving reading all your updates Grin I'm 31 weeks and this heat is DESTROYING me! My weather app says 25-27C for the next two weeks! I could literally sob my heart out. I have so much to do around the house and just cannot function. How on earth are you who are further along coping??
