Don't think anything is happening today. Another sweep tomorrow, not looking forward to it at all now I know what to expect 😂 I have no DH hand to hold this time either! Hopefully it gets things moving and at least I'll know if I'm any further dilated.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/07/2018 19:04

@PirateWeasel I'm on the verge of a mental breakdown at 35w and having to get the tube. Tomorrow I'm going in at 6am to avoid the heat. I can expense taxis home but they take ages. Not finishing work till 38w Sad

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 02:23

@PirateWeasel aww no way!!! Life is so hard in this heat!!
@lifechangesforever hopefully things has move along a little bit for you and hopefully the sweet will evict baby!!
@TheGrumpySquirrel hopefully your last few weeks will fly in for you!!

Im struggling to sleep at night now ive literally lay in bed and stared at the side of DH head since i got in!! (3.5 hours ago!) but i would happily sleep the day away every day

lifechangesforever · 17/07/2018 02:49

@lmx0 just a quick one to say you're not the only one awake! I usually have about 2 hours awake at this point of the night now ShockSad

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 03:17

@lifechangesforever glad im not the only one!! (Sorry!) ive noticed the last week or so i have a 2 hour or so awake spell during the night it must be our bodies getting ready for the night feeds!!

lifechangesforever · 17/07/2018 05:02

That's what I keep telling myself too! Doesn't help that DD starts dancing away as soon as she realises I'm awake.

I think labour might have started. I've had 3 VERY intense pains and tightenings over the last hour and half (I think - I've been dropping off to sleep in between and then getting woken up). I've just started timing them on an app with this last one. Don't know whether to wake DH or not - I really want to send him to McDonald's for some breakfast more than anything Grin

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 07:11

@lifechangesforever 😂 brilliant!!! Ohh i really hope this is it starting properly for you!!!

lifechangesforever · 17/07/2018 08:10

Looks like we're on - if they are contractions, I have nothing to compare them to and nothing online helps ha! They're about every 8 minutes now but only around 30 seconds so guessing there's a while to go yet before we make a move to the hospital.

Need to remember to breathe and not hold my breath! Just having a bounce on the birthing ball, the rhythm seems to help.

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 08:39

@lifechangesforever is it this morning you have mw? Sounds good!!

LostMyBaubles · 17/07/2018 09:30

life fx you're in delivery soon! Once they reach every 5 mins ring triage

Pirate Flowers

Grumpy wow working until 38 weeks!

Imx0 im up at night but mainly as ive got so big I just cant get to sleep. I cant lay on sides as he reacts and doesn't stop for hours lol can't lay on back as its uncomfy and not safe

Had a few tightenings last night and this morning. Bump has dropped so might be hes moved head down or hes moved further down across stomach 🤷

SlimGin · 17/07/2018 11:25

@lost - I made a malteaser cake and the Eureka Cylinder, I just went for best review/decent price on Amazon so hope it's good!

@life how exciting! So glad you've been keeping us updated real time! I hope your DH got the McDonald's in and that everything's going smoothly.

Hope everybody managed to get some sleep in last night - seems a bit cooler today?

LostMyBaubles · 17/07/2018 11:35

Sounds yummy!

Im in pain again. Been getting irregular tightenings all morning but the last few have been horrible. Pain under bump and lower back
Feel a bit dehydrated so will work on that

Big food shop has been done. Picked up a lovely little mint and white outfit set from boots for £6!

lifechangesforever · 17/07/2018 12:36

Eventful morning!

Went to the midwife for already scheduled appointment and she did another stretch and I'm 3cm dilated but I've been sent onto hospital as I've got high blood pressure and protein was +2.

Been on the monitor and trace all fine, we're now waiting on midwife speaking to doctor but she believes I won't be going home and next step is to break waters seeing as I'm already contracting.

I may get my baby today!

I never got my McDonalds though Envy he didn't want to leave me so long so went and bought hash browns and veggie sausages from Tesco and made me breakfast haha.

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 13:26

@SlimGin yummy!!!!
@LostMyBaubles awww how cute and good bargain!!
@lifechangesforever yay hopefully things go smoothly as possible for you!! And i cant wait to hear baby has arrived safe & well!! Awww bless at least he's looking after you!!

LostMyBaubles · 17/07/2018 14:52

I popped a pad on as it felt like i was losing some fluid
Theres something on the pad.
I just don't know what lol
Going to leave it on a bit longer and see how I get on

When my waters broke with eldest was a big gush of water.
This is something very diff like small amount when im walkimg aroumf/ standing from sitting etc
Baby is still moving which is good sign

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 15:02

Pregnancy is full of constant worries and what was that isnt it?! @LostMyBaubles hopefully its not fluid

LostMyBaubles · 17/07/2018 15:07

Defo is lol

Can feel it bubble a little at times.

If its waters it should get heavier.
If it doesnt get heavier then hopefully its just one of those things lol

How are you feeling

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 16:50

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 17:19

**Everyone

LostMyBaubles · 17/07/2018 17:30

I had my youngest around that time 👀👀👀

lmx0 · 17/07/2018 17:37

Id be more than happy for baby to meet the world now!!

LostMyBaubles · 17/07/2018 17:49

I bet!
I was thinking as baby was showing up large for gestational age by scan at 31 weeks was around the 35weeks mark
So im 33 weeks nearly making it 37 by scan measurements is he classed as term?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/07/2018 18:13

@LostMyBaubles I wish it worked like that but unfortunately not! You would still be treated as preterm labour (I had my dd at 35w, was measuring 37 and she was fine in the end - didn't need SCBU - but they rushed me to hospital and had about 20 people in room when she was born). I'm now 35w with this baby and praying he comes at 37! Got a feeling he's comfy in there tho...
