I've lost count of what number we were on, sorry.

Also there seems to be another BFP after MC thread running, but it has all different people on it so I didn't know if we should crash theirs or just have two running at once...

@intelligentPutty wow!! Congrats!!!

intelligentPutty · 13/08/2018 17:12

@Delilah7 thanks. Can't believe how lucky we were that time (and I had basically given up then) and I still feel all the fear and worry that it can all change. It gets easier so I wish you well. X

HidCat · 13/08/2018 20:35

@unicornxo pain around the shoulder blade can be symptomatic of ectopic so I'd call your midwife and ask just to be on the safe side. It probably is due to sleeping funny but best be safe.

maverick79 · 14/08/2018 05:47

It's good to read of the progress we are all making even if it seems like two steps forward and one back sometimes. Went quiet as anxiety kicked in but had a 6 week scan and delighted and shocked to see a heartbeat! Dated 5 days ahead - bonus so am now 7w3d.
@bean - I just wanted to add that I joined here with my concerns about lack of symptoms even tho had very few with my successful pregnancy however I'm now writing this after a 5am snack due to hunger and feel extremely nauseous most of the time. Its all so unpredictable.

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 07:20

Did any of your OH's ever go abit funny with trying so soon after a miscarriage? mine made a comment to me last night about ' we didn't say we was going to try this soon after everything '. I'm now over analysing everything xx

keeponrunning85 · 14/08/2018 09:30

WAAAAAAH! They've just come and said they're going to do my section this afternoon! I can't believe it is happening today.

HidCat · 14/08/2018 09:50

@Delilah7 my MC was a drawn out process so didn't start trying for 4 mths by which time we were both ready. He may just be scared of it happening again or something like that. Try to get his concerns out of him.

@keeponrunning85 OMG exciting! I hope it goes well and you have a straightforward recovery. Good luck!

Delilah7 · 14/08/2018 10:03

@HidCat thanks lovely.... I think I'm just going to lay off worrying about it for a month or so. Or mentioning it to him. He knows being off the pill I can get pregnant so!

kirinm · 14/08/2018 10:44

Oh wow @keeponrunning85 ! Hope everything goes okay and will look forward to your news!

Eastend2015 · 14/08/2018 11:12

Hi all! I was going to hold off for a bit longer but got my BFP this morning and thought what the hell. This’ll be pregnancy no 6 and only DS to show for it, after some spotting on Sunday I am not at all hopeful but there are so many familiar names on here I know you ladies can give me lots of hand holding even if I’m not here long. Waves to @unicornsandrainbows, I hope you and doing well chick and excited hugs for @keeponrunning xxx

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 14/08/2018 11:36

@keeponrunning85 Oooh how exciting!! Hope it all goes smoothly.

Just got back from seeing mw, need to go back in 2 days as there may be early signs of preeclampsia. Fml it was all going so smoothly. At least my blood results were good and baby is okay

Flatwhite32 · 14/08/2018 12:27

@UnicornsandRainbows1 I started having problems at 38 weeks! UTI, fluctuating blood pressure, increased Doppler readings, bump far too small etc etc. I felt like I should have set up camp at my local GP surgery and in the maternity block! It did mean though that I was extremely well monitored, so it was a lot less stressful than it could have been. Baby girl was thankfully fine, and is currently asleep on my lap SmileIt's not nice when there are bumps in the road, but it is good they are checking you out!

Flatwhite32 · 14/08/2018 12:27

Good luck @keeponrunning85! Xx

Paranormalbouquet · 14/08/2018 13:03

@keeponrunning85 good luck!!

@UnicornsandRainbows1 good they are keeping a close eye on you now. I had raised BP and some protein in urine at 36 weeks with DD. Probably because I was an idiot and walked 4 miles to the hospital appointment. It was all fine a day later!

I’ve got a proper bump now. Will need some new tops soon as my loose ones are now not so loose! Have an Isabella Oliver introduce a friend deal for 20% off if anyone wants it- just PM me (as it’s my name!).

Flatwhite I’m delighted all is going well. How are you adjusting?

CobaltRose · 14/08/2018 13:48

Had private scan at 10 weeks today... Bean looks perfect, wiggling around and even sticking their tongue out Grin

@Eastend2015 congratulations and please try to stay positive. I sincerely hope this one works out for you.

@CobaltRose gorgeous scan pic!

Paranormalbouquet · 15/08/2018 09:14

Cobalt congratulations! Lovely picture too.

21+5 today. Having some spotting on and off since yesterday so panicking again. Called midwife line and she basically said if I’m not soaking through pads not to come in. I’m hoping my cervix is just irritated, probably due to the cerclage but really don’t like to see blood. Have been feeling occasional movements same as before. Might give it a few hours and see what happens.

HidCat · 15/08/2018 12:29

@Paranormalbouquet I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, as long as baby is active I wouldn't worry too much (easier said than done, I know). If it doesn't stop though I'd just go in to see what they can do.

kirinm · 15/08/2018 12:54

Because of your history and for your own well being, I'd go into hospital @Paranormalbouquet especially if this bleed is more than you've had in a while. I say that now but I also know I left a lot of spotting unchecked during this pregnancy just because it would mean more time away from work. Hope it's stopped by the time you read this.

Paranormalbouquet · 15/08/2018 13:06

Thanks everyone, it’s stopped for now. It’s about the same as I had after my last cervical scan but I put that down to the scan. Movements are very intermittent still with anterior placenta but baby was kicking very low down over the last 2 days so wonder if it caused the irritation. I’ve left a message with the preterm clinic and if I don’t hear back I think I’ll go in to be looked at.

keeponrunning85 · 15/08/2018 13:52

Hello ladies. Just dropping back in that our daughter Rowan arrived safely by caesarean section yesterday afternoon. She weighed 6lb 7oz so not too tiny after all. I am feeling really rather sore, quite overwhelmed still but ultimately very happy. It has been a long and difficult road but we made it in the end and I hope all of you do too.

BertieBotts · 15/08/2018 14:46

Aah congratulations keepon, that's wonderful news :)

DH is ill and can't sleep and I am too pregnant and can't sleep so we make a right pair and this is turning into the longest week ever.
