@Cakelaur that's so good to hear. And it's great how supportive our men are! I also didn't feel comfortable and thought after first scan I would but now I've said to wait until after second scan so three more weeks to him to wait! Poor thing! But he's also being a trooper! Good to know I might actually feel like it at some point soon!
Am feeling so queasy, all day everyday. Only thing that stops it is eating. So I'm def putting on a belly which isn't baby related!! But having had nothing for weeks, I'm relieved to be feeling pretty pregnant now, it started on Tuesday!

Ohhh poor you @Athers666 - had bouts of it with my first and it so uncomfortable! Have you totally sworn off caffeine? Coffee usually does the trick, even a decaf might be worth a try!

@kaytees I actually don't drink tea or coffee anyway, maybe I should try some though!😁

@cakelaur can't deal with your scan pic/puppy pic 😍😍😍 think I'll be announcing mine in a very similar way I'll post pics after scan with my puppy. I would also love some sex but am terrified I'll bleed like I have previously. Hubby is amazing but I feel bad x

Ahhh everyone’s scan pics are looking amazing, congratulations to all of you! So jealous that you’re all coming out of the first trimester, still only 6+5 so that feels like so far away for me!!

I had my first midwife appointment today. I said I was 5+3 but she figured it out and said I was 5+5 - the reason I thought it was a couple days behind was because I don’t have a 28 day cycle, I have a 30 day cycle so all the apps and online calculators were telling me 5+3. I know I should just go with what my midwife is saying but I’m just confused? Haha. Anybody know about that?
It’ll make a difference when it comes to my 7 week scan so just trying to figure out what date to go with haha!

@hayleyfxits difficult to say unless you know exactly when you ovulated.
I also have a 30 day cycle but I know I ovulated 2 days later. On cd 17.
So my due date should have been the 25th December but I know it’s the 27th and after a couple of scans which have also confirmed baby is measuring 2 days behind from my LMP.
My midwife has written down my LMP as the 20th March but has included that I’m actually 11 weeks today not 11+2.

@hayleyfx don't worry about two days babe. I could be down to early implantation or early ov. It won't make too much difference to the 7 week scan. You'll still see a heartbeat and mine has been a couple days behind then a couple of days ahead.

11 weeks today and I’ve just had some bloody discharge. A light red brown colour. Not a lot but I’m so scared. I’ve got a week till my scan and I’ve rung EPU. They can’t get me in til Monday x

Call them @MagicalCreatures and check if they can see you earlier x

Sorry, I completely read that wrongly. Monday is a long wait for you. Has it got any worse?

Not yet but I’ve just popped to the shops. I’ll check when I get in in abit. I’ve spoken to my doctor and she said not to worry unless it gets a lot heavier x

12 week scan is a week tomorrow!
@magicalcreatures I've had pink/ brown spotting on and off for a few weeks, all has been ok so far an it seems to have stopped now. I also had a water infection which I think can cause spotting aswell. Maybe give a urine sample to docs an get them to check?
Glad all the scans have been good news so far! Can't wait till next Friday now! Pretty sure I heard baby's heartbeat on Doppler this morning too! X

I'm spotting brown now. I phoned 111 and have been given an appointment at the epu at 10.45pm tonight. So upset, only saw baby yesterday.

@athers666 I'm sure all will be ok, I had brown spotting just after my scan with my 1st child, it was from them pushing down with the scanner an went away within a couple of days. Least you don't have to wait long to get checked out. Xx

@beck1988 Thanks for your reply. I did find the scanner quite uncomfortable when it was being pushed down. I'm so worried x

@MagicalCreatures I had that at 11+3 and I figured it out to be exactly when my period would have been due. So have a quick look at your dates. Mentioned it to the midwife and she said it's totally normally.

@Athers666 oh babe I'm so sorry. Let us know how it goes.

Also when they're poking around with the scan they can cause disruption which can cause bleeding.

They were so rough with my scan today too
@Athers666. Baby wouldn't move to get the NT measurement. Don't blame her/him for not cooperating the way they were being pummelled though! Hope that's the explanation for your bleed.

I had bleeding and spotting and all was ok, not automatically the worst.

I got a bit of a pummeling today too, they couldn't do the nucal, they did a second scan and said 'I'm gonna push down, let me know of it is painful' but I didn't let them know because I wanted the nucal!

All was ok but I think I might bleed now.

I’m taking tomorrow off work. Even though I’m self employed and won’t earn anything, my doctor said to take it easy and my job involves lifting equipment in and out of my clients houses. I’m not taking any risks. Think I over did it yesterday working 11 hours solid.
I had abit more runny discharge (TMI) with light brown. But it has calmed down. Though I’ve had my feet up all afternoon.

Not sure if to go to the scan Monday or if to wait til my 12 week on Thursday. DH isn’t being too great about the whole thing. He tells me I’m being paranoid. X

MagicalCreatures I think it is a good call taking tomorrow off. When I was bleeding I took a couple of days, Dr said to 'potter around the house'. I think it really helped loads and bleeding stopped. I think we've got every right to be paranoid!
