Thanks @MagicalCreatures @Athers666 @Cakelaur and @Peachesarenom. It was so clear. Saw lots of little footprints as baby was wriggling around that were just amazing! Bit of coughing and prodding to get baby moving here too but once it started it didnt stop!

@Primrose16 the 19th will come round quickly and I'm sure everything will be fine

When is everyone having their next scans after 12 weeks?

Welcome @craftymum01 so sorry for your loss! I think it's hard to think about losing the bub after 12 weeks. It was such a big milestone in my head. 🤞🏻 for a nice smooth sailing pregnancy this time.

@Wiggle4 I'm gonna TRY and hold out until 20weeks. We may book a 3D around 26weeks

Thank you :) It was a really rare thing that happened so I am still looking at 12 weeks as my safety net. We have to have scans every 4 weeks after 12 so that will be reassuring too.

Welcome @craftymum01 and congratulations! I lost my baby at 24 weeks which was my first pregnancy and feel the same, it's so hard to stay positive but scans do help!

@Cakelaur I've got one at 16 weeks as last pregnancy went wrong somewhere between 12 and 20 so 🤞this time this won't be the case!

@wiggle4 every day is another day closer to a healthy baby. Sorry for your loss. I almost wish I could fast forward this part to the end!

Just to add some glamour to the thread...anybody else constipated? It's making me so miserable. Can hardly walk this evening now and I've got work tomorrow! Have had some Fybogel but no luck yet...

@Athers666 I've definitely been constipated at times but not to the extent it sounds like you are 😩 another glamour of pregnancy

@craftymum01 that's exactly what I said when my consultant asked if there was anything else he could do today-if said skip forwards to the end of the pregnancy? 😂 apparently this is something he couldn't achieve haha

I've got my booking in appointment next week when I'll be 10+5. Hopefully they'll be able to fit me in at short notice for the scan, as they book that then. I've got the day I'm 12 weeks off work so if I it's not til 14 weeks I'll do a private scan. We had one last sat and all was well. Got some lovely photos too.

So DH said to me as he was leaving for work, text me when you've pooped! And they say romance is dead eh. So glad he isn't phased by any of the gross stuff and is totally supportive, lol, even if he keeps laughing at me!

@Athers666 I ad terrible constipation with my DS. I tried everything and ended up getting prescribed laxido by the GP which works wonders. Already stocked up for this pregnancy! The glamour!

@Athers666 and me and my DH had daily poo updates via text!

The doctor usually recommends apple juice for babies/kids with constipation. Not sure if it works for adults too though! I find chia seeds are keeping me fairly regular. Have about 1/2tsp-1tsp a day on my breakfast. Aldi sell them for £1 something a bag.

Omg ladies.... BIG NEWS!! Yesterday was the first day I was sick.... AND after the scan I finally pounced on hubby!! It's the first time since we conceived that I was scared/tired/sick/asleep!! Hahah. Only 10 weeks since he last got some. He's been a trooper! Haha!!! Totally worth waiting til I felt comfortable! I said to him after that's the first time we've had sex in a LONG time that I don't even know if I'm ovulating!! 😂😂😂😂 it was so nice to have it because we wanted it rather than to make a baby! Haha

@Cakelaur, lol, we haven't done it yet since my bfp! We said that after the scan if all looked well then we would, but my stupid constipation meant that I was not in the mood, ha ha, poor DH is a saint😂
