Just done another test and it’s no darker than the one I did 2 days ago. Not sure how many DPO I am but symptoms have gone too and have low abdominal cramping.

It’s taken us 2.5 years to fall pregnant again after last M/C and looks like it’s happening all over again Sad

This baby is so wanted. Feeling very sorry for myself.

The thing is I’m not stressing anymore I’m just pleased that I know what’s going to happen, it’s not going to come as an awful shock like it did last time.

@tictoc76 the 3rd test I did was with FMU and no darker than the one I’d taken nearl two days earlier. Nothing much has gone right for us over these past couple of years. Was hoping that this would be a new beginning for us all.

Well I guess it’s time to go back to my doctor to be told I’m fat and that’s the root cause of all my problem. Yay!

But you don’t know it’s going to happen . As other posters have said, how strong the line is has no baring on how pregnant you are. How many positive pregnancy tests do you have? 10? 20? You are literally pissing your money away. You need to go to the GP, not about pregnancy, not about your anxiety because you cannot go on like this.

Mooey89 · 02/05/2018 17:33

My love you are not doing yourself any good with this.

Can you self refer to EPU in your area? Get an early scan?

I know it’s hard, really hard, but right now you are pregnant, you are not miscarrying, you may do, but you may not and right now the 20 positive tests are the evidence that you are still pregnant.

ProperLavs · 02/05/2018 17:33

You want to know, but you are no closer knowing either way than you were.
Please leave the sticks alone.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 02/05/2018 17:35

@potteringalong i know. I just needed to know and even though it looks like it’s going to be the wos outcome, it’s put my mind at rest immensely. I know it sounds stupid but for the first time in days I actually feel calm and not like I’m on the verge of a panic attack.

I have a beautiful daughter, an amazing step daughter, a loving partner, live in a beautiful place and we’re all fit and well. I have a lot to be grateful for and hopefully we’ll have another baby eventually. We’ve done it before and we’ll be able to do it again.

I only have one more test and have pee’d on 4 since Thursday (which I didn’t think was too bad - I love quite rurally so can’t really just nip out and stick up my FRER addiction too easily)

Thank you all so much for your support though, it’s gotten me through a very difficult couple of days. I hope you ALL go on to have happy and healthy pregnancies and lovely little bundles at the end of it all. We’ll get there eventually x

You're still getting positive tests. You haven't bled yet. Stop panicking!!

Stop testing everyday otherwise you won't see no line progression. Test every 48 hour.
Panicking yourself you're just going to work your body up and get stressed. Which is not What you need atm. You're not bleeding so I don't know why you're so upset. Chill out. Book a doctors appointment and enjoy it. If it goes wrong, then it goes wrong. You are not to blame. Your DD has proved that to you.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 02/05/2018 17:43

@popadoodledoo I’m actually much calmer now after that last test. Now that I know what’s probably going to happen instead of being on edge and on the verge of a panic attack.

I haven’t been testing everyday I’ve been testing every other day so I’m pretty sure of what’s going to happen.

I’m going to book a doctors appointment and will mention my anxiety as well. Cramps are starting to intensify now so just a case of sitting and waiting.

Popadoodledoo · 02/05/2018 18:06

Well whatever happens I wish you nothing but good luck.

As before you're not a failure, and it's not your fault. Your beautiful DD has proved that to you Flowers

BettyPitts · 02/05/2018 18:07

Honestly? Go and see your GP and show them this thread.

Your anxiety isn't helping you at all and I'm saying that as someone with crippling anxiety Thanks

Iswallowtoothpaste · 02/05/2018 19:01

Thank you all. I’m still feeling a lot calmer.

Well aware that I’m mega doing everyone’s tits in now but now that the most recent test has dried, it looks no chuffing different.

Well, i think I’m out.

I've miscarriaged twice ( 2 days before 8wks & 1day before 12wks) with the 8 wk which was just last year. I tormented myself with alternate day tests after about 6wks as I constantly felt crampy and uncomfortable. Well, as the days went by the tests got fainter and fainter and fainter until nearly impossible to see. I didn't bleed for another week after I visited hospital and recieved the bad news. The reason I'm telling you this is to point out that this hasn't happened to you. Your results look strong and are easy to see. Maybe you should relax and consider that this might actually be it. This time I forbid myself from the testing madness i bought a cheapy pound store test, and when it was positive I left it at that. Stress and worry are no good for a mamma to be. Hope this reassures you a little. 🍀💕

Ekphrasis · 02/05/2018 19:28

Don't compare dry tests op. I took pics - though I don't think it's a good idea to analyse them. You're still pregnant now!

Ekphrasis · 02/05/2018 19:29

Also, they look a bit 'dotty'; I had a batch that definitely weren't v good.

Astella22 · 02/05/2018 19:42

Am I missing something here, they all look like they are getting progressively darker.
I hope 🤞 you get a happy outcome OP.

SoyDora · 02/05/2018 19:47

They look like they’re progressing fine to me too.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 02/05/2018 19:48

The last one is definitely a little bit dotty. The others look pretty unbroken though, the only two that are from the same box are the middle two.

I will keep you all updated as to what happens. It’s certainly been a rollercoaster.

Pressuredrip · 02/05/2018 19:53

I think that's as dark as the FRER go you know? Get a Superdrug or Boots own digital, and see if the weeks match up maybe?

SoyDora · 02/05/2018 19:53

Yes, that’s as dark as my FRER’s have ever been.

PenguinChristmas · 02/05/2018 19:54

Stop testing! If your not bleeding the. Some cramps are normal. Testing is just driving you crazy.

I know it’s hard especially when you e had miscarriages before but please stop testing it won’t help. Either book and early scan or call the EPU. Mine offered me a n early reassurance scan at 8 weeks as o had had 3 previous miscarriages

My test never got darker than yours and I’m currently 30+5 getting kicked hard. Those tests aren’t getting fainter and your aren’t bleeding so right now your pregnant and no reason to think otherwise

mellongoose · 02/05/2018 19:57

With the best will in the world you're not bleeding. "Thinking " something might happen doesn't make it so.

mellongoose · 02/05/2018 19:59

Ps there are plenty of women who would do anything for a line like yours. Just saying.

I wish you a full and uneventful pregnancy. Good luck Smile

PenguinChristmas · 02/05/2018 20:05

Also just to add even if you do bleed it doesn’t necessarily mean the worst I bleed at 6,8,9 and 14 weeks (massive gush of blood) with this pregnancy and spotting on and off from 26 weeks ... baby is fine. I won’t lie it’s stressful every time it happens and the first times I went into panic melt down but now I find I can stay calmer because I know the stressing doesn’t change anything just makes me anxious and Ill

anyfreeusernames · 02/05/2018 20:12

op can you not pay for a private scan?

Applejack70455 · 02/05/2018 20:14

The tests aren't going to get darker day on day. You need to give it some time.

I found out I was miscarrying four days before I started bleeding as my digitals stopped progressing and the next day went backwards to 1-2 from 2-3. I was glad I knew beforehand.
