Just done another test and it’s no darker than the one I did 2 days ago. Not sure how many DPO I am but symptoms have gone too and have low abdominal cramping.

It’s taken us 2.5 years to fall pregnant again after last M/C and looks like it’s happening all over again Sad

This baby is so wanted. Feeling very sorry for myself.

I have read that from the beginning. It’s a bit like that davina McCall programme where you get a years view of someone’s life.
So sorry for everything you’ve went through and the anxiety you suffered - I’m sure a lot of women will read it with familiarity. Pleased to hear of your current healthy pregnancy!
Good luck with your last few weeks OP.

Kayleigh121 · 26/04/2019 02:54

@iswallowtoothpaste - I've been thinking about you! Hope you are doing well and things have sorted themselves out for you?
How's the pregnancy going well I hope? X

Hopefulforourrainbow · 26/04/2019 06:31

Hey @iswallowtoothpaste I recognise your name from the ttc thread. Hope all is ok with you and baby. I'm 33+4 so not far behind you!

CaveDrawer · 26/04/2019 07:02

I’ve been following your thread. So happy for you that you’re so nearly there after all you’ve been through, 4lbs 2 is an excellent weight. My DGD was born at 32 weeks and weighed a pound less. You’re both doing so well. Keep going. Not long to wait now .

Iswallowtoothpaste · 26/04/2019 08:08

@ChrisPrattsFace it’s actually a year today since I found out I was pregnant.
Thank you for your good wishes!

@Kayleigh121 apart from my BP everything else seems to be ok. I’m still very anxious though! Am I right in thinking you’re due on the same day as me? Hows everything going with you?

@Hopefulforourrainbow we aren’t far apart at all! Less than a week. Hope everything goes well for you!

@CaveDrawer thank you!

Just thought I’d quickly update. No baby yet although I’ve got a date for induction which is this coming Tuesday Shock

I’ll be exactly 39 weeks and am hoping for it to go as smoothly as possible. Not looking forward to leaving DSD & DD but hopefully they don’t keep me in too long afterwards!

Hopefulforourrainbow · 26/05/2019 16:33

Good luck! My baby arrived 5 weeks early! A little boy, 5lb 6 1/4 oz. We were home in a couple of days and he is doing great. Just over 2 weeks old now

Just read the whole thread and I’m in tears, bless you opFlowers
Wishing you all the happiness in the world for your family and new little DD.
I know the pain of miscarriage and the not knowing, the constant retesting and analysing symptoms, the anxiety can drive you half crazy!
Sending you lots and lots of love.

A lovely name, so chuffed for you SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Fantababy · 30/05/2019 03:10

Congratulations! A story with a wonderful ending. Thanks

AuntMarch · 30/05/2019 09:22

Wahhhh, I haven't seen this thread until now, what a lovely ending!

Congratulations OP, I'm sorry you had such a rollercoaster getting there but so happy you finally have your baby!

(I'm currently 35+5 and posts about earlier arrivals are a bit terrifying though - must get everything ready properly this weekend!!)

Iswallowtoothpaste · 13/06/2019 19:13

Thank you for all of your well wishes and congratulations!

I must’ve been so deliriously tired that I didn't finish the post! Induction wasn’t so bad, 7 hours from waters being broken to her being born, less than 5 minutes pushing and went from 6cm dilated to her being born in around 20 minutes.

We were very surprised with her weight after a growth scan at 35+3 which said she was already 6lb 8oz. She was born at 39+1 a surprisingly teeny 7lb 2oz.

Well, i think I’m out.

@Iswallowtoothpaste CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so pleased for you. I think I remember you from the due January '19 thread. I lost my little bean mid-July after you. Then got BFP in November but had an early loss. Had another (gazillion) positive HPTs this past week .........petrified of losing this one too now. I'm so happy to see you got your rainbow, gives us ladies who've had consecutive hard fought pregnancies lost a glimmer or hope and proof i can happen. Congratulations again! x
