Just done another test and it’s no darker than the one I did 2 days ago. Not sure how many DPO I am but symptoms have gone too and have low abdominal cramping.

It’s taken us 2.5 years to fall pregnant again after last M/C and looks like it’s happening all over again Sad

This baby is so wanted. Feeling very sorry for myself.

And it was easily visible, sorry posted too soon!

Iswallowtoothpaste · 15/06/2018 22:25

My BMI is a fair bit more than that! I too had a scan at 7 weeks but she did an internal then.

I’m sure she’ll try an external first anyway. We’ll see.

The way I looked at it with early scans was to assume external so don't go wee beforehand then if they wanted internal then to go wee was much easier and quicker than assuming internal then have to sit there drinking their warm water (this was years ago before water cooling dispensers etc) to fill my bladder

Good luck SmileSmileSmileSmile

Iswallowtoothpaste · 16/06/2018 07:44

Thank you subtitles that’s what I did last to the she asked me to empty my bladder before the internal.

I had a little more pink spotting last night on the toilet paper before I went to bed (just because I’m not exhausted and worried enough 🙄)

Had more pink spotting looking a bit red now, quite worried again.

I'm sure it's all ok, OP. Risk of mc is so low since you've seen hb. The spotting has been explained so fingers crossed for you.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 16/06/2018 18:43

huha I hope so. Having lower backache and have just cried after seeing more pink spotting on the toilet paper. I’m lucky to have a reason for the bleeding as reassurance but my heart still sinks every time I see it. I so hope everything is ok!

Not sure if it's helpful but when I was in epu they told me lower back pain is a good thing. I was fully prepared for the worst. Hope you feeling ok tonight

miki123 · 16/06/2018 22:47

I had cervical ectropion with both my successful pregnancies however, despite having a clear and rational explanation for the bleeding from the doctors, my heart sank EVERY single time I saw blood and I then became consumed with worry.

I SO know that it's easier said than done, but do try and focus on the doctor's words: you have cervical ectropion and this is what is causing the bleeding.

Sending hugs, I'm sure you'll be fine on Monday. X

Iswallowtoothpaste · 17/06/2018 07:43

miki123 it’s absolutely awful. I just feel so on edge and anxious all the time. Did your bleeding ever stop as you got further? I’ve had a bit more pinky/browny stuff when I wipe, just on the toilet paper, not on my knickers or a pad so it’s obviously a small amount that’s coming out. It’s been the stomach cramps and lower back pain alongside that’s really freaked me out.

miki123 · 17/06/2018 07:57

Yes the bleeding did stop in the 2nd trimester. Are the cramps very bad? I recall having ongoing mild period like cramps during the first trimester and being concerned but they were actually the uterus stretching. Tomorrow will be here in no time sweetie. Huge hugs xx

furandchandeliers · 17/06/2018 08:18

@Iswallowtoothpaste what number baby is this for you?

This is number 6 for me but it's after a 5 year gap and I've been alarmed at the cramping too but I remembered yesterday that I felt the same with baby number 4 and 5 too, I think when you have more than a couple you can feel all the growing and stretching a lot more than before.

Good luck for tomorrow Smile

Iswallowtoothpaste · 17/06/2018 08:33

miki123 the cramps aren’t anywhere near as bad as period pains but just there niggling away. Have just been to the loo and had more pinky/reddy blood which looks quite watery. So hoping it’s this ectropion.

Mom actually went away for a week or so then cake back last weekend then I started bleeding again on Friday.

Furandchandeliers this is baby number 2 for me and I’ve also had around a 5 year gap between my first and this one.

Thank you, just hoping all is ok and that this bleeding goes away!

I’ve been laid on my stomach tonight, don’t want to lure myself into a false sense of security as could always be muscle twitches etc BUT over the last couple of days I’ve felt a ‘flipping’ movement quite far down below my belly button, always around the same place and have just get it several times now whilst being laid on my stomach. Fairly sure it isn’t wind as I’ve been having that and its been painful whereas this isn’t painful at all but feels like definite movements and flutters.

I always thought that baby would be too weak and too small for anyone to be able to feel this early. Still skeptical but can’t think what else it would be. It’s not a movement I can feel on my skin but one I can feel quite far inside. Maybe I’m going crazy!

Delurking to say best of luck for the scan. Smile

flumpybear · 18/06/2018 08:28

Good luck today! FWIW I had loads of bleeding with my first child and she's fine. It's not uncommon either but yes it's concerning because you don't know what's going on. Villi do invade the uterine wall and it could just be this causing s but of bleeding and cramping. Hope all goes well today 🍀

JustVent · 18/06/2018 09:27

How many weeks are you now?

Best of luck.

CarbonatedBeverageFiend · 18/06/2018 09:49

Good Luck! Flowers

Iswallowtoothpaste · 18/06/2018 10:52

Bad news unfortunately. Couldn’t find a heartbeat and baby died at 9+3. So over two weeks after the first scan. Obviously upset. 2nd M/C in a row, I’m 25 and we’ve previously seen a heartbeat. Was still having all symptoms too. Nurses were absolutely lovely. It must be a wonderful job but a really shit and hard job at the same time xxx thank you all for your good wishes and support. Not sure if we’ll try again after this, would love another baby but I couldn’t bear this happening again xxx
