Just done another test and it’s no darker than the one I did 2 days ago. Not sure how many DPO I am but symptoms have gone too and have low abdominal cramping.

It’s taken us 2.5 years to fall pregnant again after last M/C and looks like it’s happening all over again Sad

This baby is so wanted. Feeling very sorry for myself.

Congratulations! I lost this thread as had my baby half way through it. I was sorry to catch up and read you lost your previous pregnancy but this is great news!

TownHall · 26/09/2018 21:21

This is very good news!! 😊. Best of luck with everything.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 26/09/2018 22:08

Thank you all! Still being very cautious (worried about my weight mostly - very high BMI) but worrying isn’t going to change the outcome whatever that may be so have invested in some rescue remedy which seems to be taking the edge off!

Something similar happened to me, I took a test when I was roughly 12dpo? Faint positive. Another at 14dpo and even fainter positive, I freaked out massively, thought I was about to have a MC. A week went by, no bleeding or cramps. Took another test (well 4 more tests to be exact, of different brands 🙈 I'm also a POAS addict) and all test lines were really dark, actually darker than the control line. I'm now 9 weeks, kind of nervous about the 12 week scan, but a lot more relaxed than I was. I have very little symptoms, but I didn't have many symptoms whilst pregnant with DD and all was well in the end, so I'm trying not to read too far into it, maybe my body just handles all the hormones well.

Unless you've had severe cramping or bright red heavy bleeding, try not to worry, easier said than done I know, I wish I was better at taking my own advice because I'm also worrying!

Momma22 · 26/09/2018 23:43

Sorry I didn't read the whole thread before I posted.

Sorry about your MC OP Flowers

But congrats on your pregnancy, hopefully all goes well for you this time!

BigApple11 · 30/10/2018 16:15

How are you doing OP?

Iswallowtoothpaste · 13/01/2019 18:17

@BigApple11 I’ve just found this thread again, I’m sorry it’s taken me 2 and a half months to reply!

Everything seems to be going well so far. I’ll be 20 weeks on Tuesday and we’re having our 20 week scan that day too so hopefully that all goes well.
Have just nicely started to feel some movements. Very sporadic which is worrying me but reassuring when I do feel them!

Just to update this thread, we had our 20 week scan yesterday. All perfect, baby wriggling, kicking and giving the sonographer the run around.

As far as she could see, everything was ok and she was happy with baby, currently weighing in at 13oz.

Also found out that we’re expecting a little girl Grin we’re over the moon!

That is amazing news. So happy for you and your tiny daughter Bear

Iswallowtoothpaste · 24/04/2019 21:42

Currently 34+1 weeks and have been admitted to hospital overnight so I thought I’d take this rare opportunity of peace and quiet to update this thread.

Apart from a couple of blood pressure hiccups, all has been progressing well. We had a growth scan at 30 weeks and she was weighing in at an impressive 4lb 2oz.

They’re going to examine me at 37/38 weeks and then make a decision on whether to induce me.
