Just done another test and it’s no darker than the one I did 2 days ago. Not sure how many DPO I am but symptoms have gone too and have low abdominal cramping.

It’s taken us 2.5 years to fall pregnant again after last M/C and looks like it’s happening all over again Sad

This baby is so wanted. Feeling very sorry for myself.

@SecretStash thank you so much and I’m so sorry for having a neurotic blow out at you, I really appreciate your support and I was being a real dick head.

Yes FRER lines mean NONTHING and clear blue weeks indicator are an absolute load of bull shit.

They didn’t but I’ll try and work it out.

No it’s ok, I should have been more sensitive.

Anyway! We are due roughly around the same time, I’m a couple of weeks ahead. They didn’t give me a due date either, I guess that’s a job for the next scan.

PenguinChristmas · 25/05/2018 11:12

Awwww so pleased it was good news! Congratulations.

I’ve had bleeding this whole pregnancy so know how stressful it is when it happened but at least you have a cause.

Also clear blue indicators are the devil! I think they should be banned 🤬

GlitteryFluff · 25/05/2018 11:19

Ah wonderful! Congratulations!

flapjackfairy · 25/05/2018 11:24

Aw lovely news. So pleased for you !

Iswallowtoothpaste · 25/05/2018 11:40

@PenguinChristmas absolutely agreed! Never again! I’ve had better results from cheap OPK’s than expensive, branded HPT’s!

Thank you all for putting up with me, so pleased that I can give some positive news and that in future, if there’s anyone who experiences lines not getting darker, CBD giving wrong results, pains and/or bleeding, they can have a trawl through and see that it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s all bad.

Awww so pleased for you - have been following your thread from afar. I too had cervical ectropian, and therefore bleeding, with both successful pregnancies. Now you need to go home, take a deep breath and ENJOY this pregnancy :-). Big hugs x

Iswallowtoothpaste · 26/05/2018 14:25

Thank you all so much. Nausea has really been kicking my fat arse today 🤢 still ecstatic and over the moon. Just hoping that the early dating isn’t a negative thing!

SoyDora · 26/05/2018 14:32

The likelihood is you ovulated/implanted much later than you thought, which is why your tests weren’t getting much darker (double the amount of HCG is still a very small amount in the early stages!) and why the digital said 1-2 weeks when you expected 2-3.

FuckingHateRain · 26/05/2018 14:47

Awww well done massive congratulations!!!
Wishing you a fantastic pregnancy! How is DH taking it? Are you getting along better now? X

Iswallowtoothpaste · 26/05/2018 16:26

@SoyDora, yes I know I definitely ovulated at least a week late, I seemed to remember that it was a Monday or a Tuesday because I usually ovulate on a Friday or a Saturday exactly 2 weeks after the first day of my period. And then obviously implantation can happen later too. The sonographer, nurses and gynae doctor didn’t seem at all concerned and said everything was perfectly normal for that stage.

I must’ve gotten my first BFP at 7,8 or 9 DPO which is crazy!!

OH was (still is) over the moon, he’s been very positive about the whole thing the whole way through. Said his gut feeling was a good one. He panicked when she couldn’t find the baby on the external scan (I’d already prepared myself for that eventuality though)

To be fair I’ve been pretty difficult to live with these last couple of weeks so I can hardly blame him for getting sick of me at times.

SoyDora · 26/05/2018 16:28

My BFP was a similar colour to yours and I was 9DPO!
