Just done another test and it’s no darker than the one I did 2 days ago. Not sure how many DPO I am but symptoms have gone too and have low abdominal cramping.

It’s taken us 2.5 years to fall pregnant again after last M/C and looks like it’s happening all over again Sad

This baby is so wanted. Feeling very sorry for myself.

@whiteonesugar it’s kind of a control thing with me and wanting to know so I can brace myself for the worst if I have to.

Thought I was feeling slightly nauseous on Monday and again yesterday but nothing major (and maybe wishful thinking) but today I gagged and spat up bile this morning and about 30 minutes ago I spewed up a tiny bit of sick. It’s more of a gagging feeling in the back of my throat though with an occasional wave of nausea in my tummy. Don’t know if that’s normal. Someone described it as a hangover but I wouldn’t say it’s as bad as that, more sea sickness.

No shouting at you, though I am going to follow PP's lead and buy shares in a POA company...

When do you get to do teh prpoper testy thing?

Teateaandmoretea · 09/05/2018 19:29

There is no such thing as normal Smile

whyhastherumgone · 09/05/2018 20:15

Definitely looking nice and dark there OP and those things are notorious for not giving very dark lines so if you've got a nice dark one like that I'd be happy! :)

FuckingHateRain · 09/05/2018 21:38

Ohhh that one looks good!! Thank God you're not me OP, I'd go straight for blood tests! Looks really good!

Iswallowtoothpaste · 10/05/2018 05:44

They won’t do a blood test Sad but everything looks more positive now. Didn’t think I was going to get dinner cooked ast night. Eventually managed after I’d stopped gagging. Stomach is churning a bit this morning. Never been so happy to be sick and I fucking hate being sick

@ISwallowtoothpaste I felt like i was on a boat for the first 8 weeks of my pregnancy with DS and gagged walking past the bin store of our block of flats every single morning! In fact when I got pregnant the last time it was the waves of nausea that made me do a test. All sounding very positive! Hang in there x

Iswallowtoothpaste · 10/05/2018 11:23

I’ve not been too bad today, felt a bit rough first thing but it passed and then had a bit of dry heaving but no actual sick yet.

If I remember correctly, it used to affect me more during the evening with DD. Of course I’m still worried that I’m imagining it and it’s all wishful thinking.

OP posts:
whiteonesugar · 10/05/2018 11:52

That's only natural I was the same every single time after the first loss.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 10/05/2018 16:00

I’ve been getting anxiety about DD too. I’ve never coddled her but for some reason today I just didn’t want her to go to school. I know it sounds stupid but was terrified something was going to happen to her and I would’ve be there. Have burst into tears randomly a couple of times thinking about it.

Of course, I picked her up at 3:15 and she was fine. Completely irrational.

Wouldn’t not would’ve

Aozora13 · 10/05/2018 17:25

I’m pretty sure being completely irrational is a common pregnancy symptom - it certainly is for me! Be kind to yourself Flowers

Iswallowtoothpaste · 10/05/2018 20:08

@Aozora13 I’m sure hoping so!

mintich · 10/05/2018 20:19

Oh I have the irrational anxiety too. I had it with my last pregnancy and have it again. Keep panicking that my partner is going to crash the car with is in it. He's actually a really good driver. I was walking across London bridge the other day and was worried about falling in. I was nowhere near the edge!! I had it for the first few weeks that I had my baby too then it disappeared.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 10/05/2018 20:25

@mintich yes I was like it after DD was born too. I’m really struggling with sending her to school every day at the moment. I guess it’s a sort of ‘no one can look after her like I can’ sort of thing.

Just bought all of the deluxe versions of Florence + The Machine’s albums and pre ordered her new one. Have to do something to calm the nerves now that alcohol is off the menu.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 11/05/2018 10:48

Have had another very, very small bleed this morning, slight cramps but nothing like I haven’t had. Have been feeling a bit sea sick but sore boobs have all of a sudden disappeared.

Arrrggghhh why!? Just as I was starting to relax and enjoy it a bit more. Whyyyyy? Sad

OP posts:
whyhastherumgone · 11/05/2018 11:35

The boobs thing does come and go - it's not a direct indicator of whether everything is ok.
Call your EPU if you've had a bleed x

Iswallowtoothpaste · 11/05/2018 12:08

I’ve rung my doctors, they’re going to try and get me a scan a bit sooner. I really am sick as fuck now. I just want to know Sad

OP posts:
whyhastherumgone · 11/05/2018 13:21

Well at least they are taking you seriously and trying to fit you in for a scan. A tiny bleed really doesn't have to mean anything bad, bleeding can happen throughout pregnancy and it doesn't sound like there's a lot of it/it's bright red etc?

Try to stay as calm as you can, I know it's so stressful, but if you're going to have little bleeds (some women do) you need to try and get a handle on it so it doesn't drive you mad with worry, easier said than done, I know.

FuckingHateRain · 11/05/2018 14:10

Iswallowtoothpaste when I had bleeds I was given a progesterone and it stopped, that's the reason it's helpful for a professional to see you, it's not just for reassurance
Hopefully you ll get EPU appointment shortly

FuckingHateRain · 11/05/2018 14:11

And good luck / fingers crossed xxx

Idratherhaveacupoftea · 11/05/2018 14:23

As one of the older generation of mums before pregnancy tests, scans etc, I can't believe the amount of angst women go through today. We didn't go to see our GPs until we had missed 3 periods because the testing years ago wasn't reliable enough. The sample was sent away to the hospital and we waited a week for the results. The thought of constantly testing all the time would drive me mad and frankly I really don't see the point of doing it after just a few days of a period being late.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 11/05/2018 14:55

Well my stomach is churning, just come on in the last half hour. Feel ghastly.

@idratherhaveacupoftea, they say knowledge is power but I really wish I didn’t know so much. For future reference I’ll remember that simplicity is key and to only buy pregnancy test in packs of one. It’s a good job I live rurally and the thought of having to drive several miles into a rammed seaside town to purchase pregnancy tests puts me off, otherwise I’d be neurotic and bankrupt by now.

@ProperLavs, still have no idea what’s going on.
