Newbie to the pregnancy board! Due end of December.. anyone else due around the same time?

Just looking for a board to join, have just started weaning myself off conception. I’m due 26th December. Feeling like it would be nice to join a group with people due similar time :)
Feeling a little anxious about things going wrong and dp doesn’t really understand x

Starting to get very jealous of those who are going for scans already. Im 12 weeks on friday but have to wait until tuesday after for my scan. I feel like its been a lifetime.
My sickness for the past week has been terrible - it doesn't seem as bad this morning (touch wood)
Anyone else struggling in the heat? Its just completely zapping all of my energy. It doesnt help that im in a classroom with 30 computers and no air con for most of the day.
Have you all told work now?

@emmalou9 I think @mamfypuss and I both have our scans at 13 weeks, I’m 12 weeks and mines next Wednesday when I’ll be 13 weeks! It does seem a lifetime away!

@Mrscrumbtious glad all is going well... I’m feeling better in myself but had a melt down yesterday, ended up going for a walk and felt better! I’ll have to check Lidl’s out!

My dp mum is quite spiritual and put her crystal above my stomach last night and it Swung in a circle which app means girl... I tried it with a ring and it circled too! Anyone else tried it?

I literally have no clue on the sex... no intuition, where as with my daughter new she was a girl from the beginning to end and never found out!!

All went well and I DIDN'T PEE MY SELF 😂.
Baby was doing a head stand and I had to wiggle to get them on their backs.
I'm further than we thought. I'm due 11th December. So I'm 14 weeks. Handed my letter into work and have till 1St of Nov.
My next scan is the 27th July.

So you'll sign in at the reception and then wait for your name. They will take you through and make you lay on a bed. You and your partner have your own screen so you can see what they can.
They then showed me both legs and arms, it's heart beat etc. Took loads of measurements. Then I had to go back to the waiting room to be called for the bloods.

You can have as many copy's of the photos as you want. But they are £5 each. We had 5 as grandparents wanted them.

Then go home. They will book the next one there xx

@mamfypuss that's amazing! Such great news about the date too. I'm hoping I'll be earlier or later as a Christmas baby isn't my number one choice!
@emmalou9@rose2887 me too. I'm due on 27/12 but have to wait until next Wednesday, the 20th, for my scan and it feels like forever.
I'm really flaking in the heat too and finding teaching a bit of an endurance test at the moment. Could have actually bought a car with the amount I've spent on getting Ubers home recently!

All went well due on the 20th December.
Have to have a internal scan at 17 weeks to measure cervical length but all looking good so far...xx

Struggling at work girls... I’m still so exhausted!

Looked in the mirror yesterday and was in total shock... my nips are huge 😂😂 they’ve always been tiny!!!! My sister also told me my backsides massive??

Any exercise advise girls?? Doesn’t help I only fancy rubbish! Xxx

@Rose2887 im paranoid that my fingers and feet are going to swell in this heat. I keep asking DH if they look bigger. He thinks Ive gone mad.

Has anyone else gone really spotty? My face is covered. Its like being a teenager again 😭

@Rose2887 my whole body has changed. I got some pregnancy exercise apps.. but not tried them yet. I'm way to tired when I get in from work to exercise for 20 min.

@Pob13 I'm super spotty. Got a massive one on my forehead arm. Hopefully will go soon xx

Who has scans this week? Another week to wait for me ☹

@pob13 i have my scan on Tuesday. I was 12 weeks yesterday, woke up this morning and didn't feel sick. I started to panic. How are you doing? What day do you gave your scan?

Have any of yout broughy you OH's anything for tomorrow. I've put together a 'dad-to-be' survival kit.

@emmalou9 That sounds fab, what is in the kit?.
I have got my dh a card that says "happy fathers day from the bump". But im so anxious im not going to give it to him until after the scan.
Scan is on the 25th, i will be 12+6.

@Pob13 it had little messages attached to each item as well:

• some surgical gloves (for the messy nappies)
• spray masks (for the smelly nappies)
• wipes (as you can never have too many when there's a baby around)
• 4 pack of carling (because its his fave and as an 'emergency' stash)
• kitkat (for when he needs to 'take a break')
• a book entitled "Daddy is my hero" (because he is already my hero and will be the hero of any child we have)

I was worried it was too soon but just thought it was a cute touch and didnt want to get anything overly 'Father's day', if that makes sense

Oh my god, its scan day today. I'm so nervous. I've had an awful nights sleep. Just want it over and done with now. Got to wait until 4pm!!!
