Newbie to the pregnancy board! Due end of December.. anyone else due around the same time?

Just looking for a board to join, have just started weaning myself off conception. I’m due 26th December. Feeling like it would be nice to join a group with people due similar time :)
Feeling a little anxious about things going wrong and dp doesn’t really understand x

I’m something like 5-6 weeks and have been sick a couple of times but it’s mostly been dry heaving, gagging and feeling sick. Been feeling a bit delicate this morning and gagged a bit but it’s coming and going. Didn’t think I had it that badly with DD although OH seems to think I was quite poorly at times with her.

I'm feeling very lucky- not had any sickness yet and I'm just over 7 weeks now.
Just feel totally wiped out- no energy at all this weekend. Been building up to going to the shop for the last 2 hours. This is what my hangovers were mainly like- headache, wiped out, really hungry and rarely sickness so maybe it's linked! My mum and sister didn't get sick either so hope this is it for me.

I’m on an interview panel tomorrow. Dreading getting through it without throwing up!

I feel so so sick! On hols and haven't been out of the room all day. Just ordered chips as if I cover them with salt that's about all I can stomach. I've booked an early scan for next Monday so excited and nervous about that. I'll be almost 8 weeks then so hopefully far enough to properly see something! x

I've taken today off work as I've got the 'runs' (sorry TMI). Has anyone else had this in early stages of pregnancy? I think I ate something that didn't agree with me but had loose stools since finding out I'm pregnant.

Feeling really rough, constantly feeling sick and just crave salt and savoury things! I had a miscarriage in February so I'm so pleased to be pregnant again and experiencing more symptoms than last time. However, it does knock you for six doesn't it?

@lozapink I've had to come home from work as couldnt keep anything down.
Yes i had really bad diarrhea last week. It seems to have settled a bit. Make sure you keep hydrated.

@Pob13 definitely keeping hydrated. If we can't take the time out to look after ourselves now, when can we? I've got my booking in appointment next Monday and then an early scan on Tuesday. Hoping the early scan goes well. I'll be 8 weeks by then so hopefully we'll be able to see a heartbeat etc x

Just had my dating scan letter - next week. But I'll only be 9+1. Surely that's way too early? Assuming everything is ok, I still dont think I would be happy telling people until 12 weeks.

Hi ladies. I am 7+1 weeks going by my LMP of 26th March, so due around 30th December but went for an early scan yesterday I was measured as being 6 weeks. So a bit confused. She said baby is measuring small so could be 6 weeks so couldn't give us a date, but we saw heartbeat and a teeny blob.we have told our close friends and family already, but u am desorate to tell my son who is 7 1/2. But we're going to wait, although its hard! We have booking apt with our midwife on 23rd May when I should be 8w3 days (by my calculations). I've not had sickness but had period like cramps that come and go, I'm so tired, off coffee,some nausea, frequent trips to loo for a wee, and bloat.. Omg the bloat! I can't remember this with my last pregnancy but that was almost 8y ago! Xx

I’m all about the salt. Just piling salt on everything!

Anyone told work yet? How are people feeling about that?

@FoxgloveStar I've had to tell work as I work in a behavioural school so can't get involved if anything kicks off. I had a miscarriage in February so they knew I'd be trying again but I don't think they expected it to happen so quickly (and neither did we)

@Holliek85 hey, welcome!!! My symptoms all the same as yours. I’m 8 weeks tomorrow, and have my midwife appointment tomorrow, will let everyone know how it goes

Just thought I'd give you a little heads up - I've been to the doctors today about sickness as I've had to take the day off from work as its becoming so bad but... they've prescribed me some tablets and they are mini miracle workers!!!
Just thought anyone that is really struggling might like to know.

Hope everythung goes okay with the midwife appointment @Rose2887 I've still got 2 weeks to wait for mine as i asked if it could coincide with half term. Let us know what happens please

@Rose2887 good luck with your appointment tomorrow. I have mine on Thursday at Eye hospital. I don't know why but I'm super scared 😧.

Hi all! I have my booking app on Friday. Can anyone tell me what happens at it? Is it just health-related questions? Or do they do anything physical? My letter says I need to bring a sample of urine with me - is that normal?!

@attie17 urine test is normal. I was asked to pee in the jar when I arrived. Nothing physical just height and weight and blood test. Load of health and social questions. They’ll refer you to any specialists and talk you through what will happen at scan and also start talking about birth opinions.

Yes to the salt and the chips! All I want to eat at the moment is ready salted crisps, hula hoops in particular. Anyone else getting EXTREME hunger in between the nausea? Particularly in the mornings I feel like I may actually die if I don't eat immediately.

I had a similar experience at my booking appointment, lots of questions about my health, my family history, my partner's family history. Also not sure if it's relevant to anyone on here but they ask about mental health and due to my history with that they had to fill in some extra forms, tell them what the issues were/are and discuss any counselling etc.

@FireAndRain45 on monday i was so sick but yesterday and so far today im just starving! I ate so much yesterday. Bit worried that the nausea has just dissapeared.

Hey everyone, had my first midwife app today, loads of Paper work and some bloods and then bounty pack given.. was quite long about 1.5 hours. They were happy with everything but have re dated me the 27/12/18 and 8+1 but said once I have scan well know more :) xx

@Pob13 that happens to me... then suddenly one day I'm absolutely fine the next I feel like death. I think it's normal.
