Just looking for a board to join, have just started weaning myself off conception. I’m due 26th December. Feeling like it would be nice to join a group with people due similar time :)
Feeling a little anxious about things going wrong and dp doesn’t really understand x

@FireAndRain45 I spoke to my dr and he said they are growing pains, honestly don’t worry :) as long as there’s no bleeding!

I’ve beeb emotional the whole pregnancy so far Confused found a pic of my grandad who died two years ago and have been crying since...

Just glad it won’t last!!! Xx

Just been to the loo and there was blood when i wiped. Very pale but def blood. This is what happened with my mc last year. I cant bear it. I suppose i just wait and see what happens today. My symptoms have been so strong i was quietly confident.

FireAndRain45 · 07/05/2018 11:43

@Pob13 sorry to hear that, I think some bleeding is fairly common...my mum had a bleed with me at about 6 weeks and it was all OK. Fingers crossed it will be the same for you. Is it getting any worse?

Iswallowtoothpaste · 07/05/2018 12:41

@Pob13 I had some bleeding with DD at around 5-6 weeks it was bright red and I panicked straight away but an early scan showed that all was fine!

FoxgloveStar · 07/05/2018 12:55

@Pob13 how stressful. Try to stay calm and know that the best thing you can do is anything to relax and avoid panicking. Easier said than done. :(

I’m lots better this week (week 8?) than last week when I just wanted to sleep and be totally still. I’ve had little bursts of energy today but they get quickly used up. My mum has been here this weekend. I’m surprised she hasn’t said anything about my non-drinking and apparent laziness.

I have huge cravings for salt. Salt salt salt. Also a cold can of Diet Coke does the trick if I’m feeling sick.

Scan in 10 days. Really keen to see Tiny is ok and have some more info about the dates. Booking in appointment with MW on Wednesday. Both me and my DS were born with birth defects so wondering if they’ll do any extra checks or scans. I have a coloboma (an eye like Madeline McCann) and DS has a big lump on his forehead and a bald patch. Luckily DS’s lump is just superficial. Both issues from ~8 weeks gestation...

Rose2887 · 07/05/2018 13:37

@Pob13 Try not to worry although easier said than done I guess...

I’ve heard bleeds are quite common! I’d ring 111 to ask if you are worried.

Are you having any cramps? I know a lot of woman can bleed after intercourse.

Lots of hugs xxxx Flowers

Ive had a couple of loo visits with no blood and a couple with.
Would a scan show anything at 6 weeks?

Iswallowtoothpaste · 07/05/2018 15:22

Not sure if it would show anything at 6 weeks, you’d maybe see a heartbeat though?

Rose2887 · 07/05/2018 16:29

@Pob13 people have early scans privately for about £89 it’s called a viability scan, maybe worth a shot!!? It’s for people who need reassurance xxx

@Pob13 when I booked my early scan they told me that I needed to be at least 6 weeks so that they could try and find a heartbeat.
I have mine booked in for Wednesday when I will be 6+5.
I've booked it to try and reassure myself. If you're worried due to bleeding etc, could your doctor not recommend you for an early scan?

Pob13 · 07/05/2018 18:40

Thanks all. I think it might be old blood, seems a bit brown (sorry for tmi). I will see what happens overnight. I have my first appointment with the midwife tomorrow so will ask her.
Had a proper meltdown but feeling a bit calmer down.

gemwhitt · 07/05/2018 18:53

Pob13, I'm in similar boat to you. I'm 7 weeks today, but yesterday I had very light brown discharge all day, and today too. Not much, but it's there. Also slight pain on left side, and loss of other pregnancy symptoms. Not looking good.

I'm booking an early scan tomorrow, just so I can know if I do need to prepare for the worst, I think it will be easier when it comes.

On the other hand if they find a heart beat, I can go back to living a normal life that doesn't revolve around bathroom breaks.

Pob13 · 07/05/2018 19:10

@gemwhitt we must try to stay positive.

Im hoping the midwife will refer me for an early scan, cant really afford a private one. Im also wary about having a scan at just 6 weeks incase they dont pick anything up but really it is just too early.

Pob13 · 07/05/2018 21:19

Bit more blood. Do i go to gp first thing or wait to see midwife at 3.45pm?

Rose2887 · 07/05/2018 22:22

@Pob13 ring gp first thing and see what they say! Sending hugs xx

@Pob13 how are things this morning?

FireAndRain45 · 08/05/2018 07:56

@gemwhitt good luck with your scan, fingers crossed for you

Pob13 · 08/05/2018 08:37

@FireAndRain45 bad nausea this morning. Tiny bit of old blood when i wipe so im just going to wait until the midwife this afternoon. With my mc last year it went from pale blood to bright red in a few hours so im trying to stay hopeful.

gemwhitt · 08/05/2018 10:12

FireAndRain45 - thanks for your message. Saw the doc this morning (I was literally standing there when they opened) and have been referred for NHS scan at 11am today. I'm happy to get getting a scan, and trying to be hopeful but also worried.

Pob13 - good luck with your midwife appointment today. You are right, best to stay strong and hopeful.

Pob13 · 08/05/2018 11:14

@gemwhitt hope the scan goes well x

Rose2887 · 08/05/2018 11:34

@gemwhitt
