Sweaty and fretty- 3rd trimester safe place to whinge

Following on from the Itchy & bitchy 2nd trimester thread!

I'm now 25 + 6 weeks, so very nearly 6 months gone! 3 months remaining...

Morning sickness is still very present and I've been reminded of this 4-8 times a day all week.

On the plus side- movements are now very regular and I love them! Much lower down than I remember DC1 being- lots of bladder kicks which are /not/ fun.

Hows everyone else doing with the 3rd trimester?

@mustbemad17 i cant wait to get hone and get on my ball!! Im stuck in work ive taken paracetamol (1) and its done nothing waiting until half 2 to take (2) to see if that does anything but not getting my hopes up!!! 😂😂 he must be lol

I hate paracetamol, it doesn't even have the placebo affect any more 😂 mother nature truly screwed up when she set this whole pregnancy agenda i tell you!! I feel sick as anything now, curled up on the sofa feeling truly sorry for myself hahaha

I'm glad I'm not the only one fed up with pregnancy today! I have constant back ache and tightenings that come round the front as well as a massive pressure down below. I'm still 1cm dilated 😞 the propess is staying in until 9:30, if it's the same then they will take it out overnight and put a new one in tomorrow. Come on baby!! Hard to stay positive.
I hope all of your aches and pains manage to go for a bit at least so you can get comfortable

Ah thanks ladies. I will keep you updated when they have a look at 9:30. I'm not feeling too hopeful tonight though.
On the bright side... DH is on his way with Krispy Kreme doughnuts! 😁

Okay now i'm just plain jealous....i LOVE krispy kremes!!!

@wreckit - fingers crossed for some progress soon! Maybe the sugar from the Krispy Kremes will give baby a boost?!

The one upside to pregnancy for me has been that it’s suppressed my wheat intolerance which means I’ve had doughnuts for the first time in 7 years! And croissants. And Jaffa cakes. Oh god I’m going to have to give it all up again in a few weeks aren’t I?!

Having horrible carpal tunnel pain today and feel soooo huge and heavy! Can’t quite bear the thought that this could potentially go on for another 6 weeks!! (35+4 today)

SK166 hope the CT surgery went okay, i had that a few years ago. Hope you have been given some kick ass painkillers, it hurts like a b*tch after the anaesthetic wears off 😱 mine worked a treat tho not had any problems since

I had another client ask me today 'well was it planned or a surprise?' Thankfully i was on the ball this time and answered 'does that really matter' and i could tell she was pushing for an answer i just laughed it off!! Yay go me normally im that shocked i just answer 😂😂

@mustbemad - thanks! But I haven’t actually had surgery. I was just moaning about the pain! I’ve actually had carpal tunnel in the past and was finally given a referral for assessment at the hospital but I was pregnant by the time that came around so they said they wouldn’t do anything for 12 months It eased for a while but is back with a vengeance now!

@lmx0 - that is so bloody rude! What is wrong with people?!

Ooh SK166 for some reason i read that as ct surgery not pain 😂 baby brain, sorry! CT is a sod tho. I thought they would do surgery during pregnancy as it's only a local. I was meant to get my other hand done this time but the pain has gone & stayed gone so i declined it.

Baby brain is just ridiculous. I did some washing earlier, reminded myself to empty DDs pockets after a trip to the beach. Heard lots of banging, goes in to find five or six shells going round in the machine...in the time it took me to go from lounge to kitchen (i'm in a flat, so less than a minute!) i had forgotten to empty pockets. I want my brain back!!!

Hello ladies, hope you are all doing ok. I am 37 weeks today and had a bit of a fresh red bleed this morning - which of course freaked me out! I called the assessment at my delivery suite and they weren’t too concerned. The asked about how much blood, whether it was mucusy (it wasn’t), and if I was having contractions (i’m not). I’m a bit worried as I have never gone into labour naturally and don’t know if this is my show or not.

I haven’t had any bleeding since and baby is moving ok at the moment. I think it was prob about half a teaspoon of blood so it wasn’t loads but it was more than a few spots.

I had an antenatal clinic appointment and growth scan yesterday and all was fine - he was growing well and I didn’t have a low lying placenta etc so that wasn’t something to be concerned about. I’m just really worried that it could’ve been something serious and that it wasn’t picked up on by my hospital.

I’m sure if it was bad then they would have called me in sooner. I have my pre-op appointment this afternoon for my planned c-section for a week so I can ask them then if I have any more concerns I guess...

I am not having newborn cuddles 😩 new 24hr pessary went in today, they will check again tomorrow. If no difference then the consultant will come and see about either doing the drip first or booking a csection. It's so frustrating, four women have been in the bed opposite, I am now the longest resident of our bed. Also I went for a walk earlier tripped over and cut my knee 😂 ffs...

@NooNooHead I have heard that's normal and the scan sounds positive but if you are worried at all it wouldn't hurt to mention it at the appointment

@NooNooHead id take it as a good sign the midwifes weren't concerned but deffo ask later just to put your mind at ease
@WreckItRach awww no way!!! Im sure you are climbing the walls!!! How are you any pain? And your poor knee (i can imagine the ep from friends when rachel is in labour!) its your turn!!!!

That Friends episode came to my head too haha. Oh wreckit i feel for you, i bet you're watching women come in with that 'if you DARE have a baby before me' vengeful mindset!!! Sending lots & lots & LOTS of evicting thoughts your way, come on baby!!!

At night I'm getting what must be BH but they were worse last night and longer. Then this morning, nothing. The MW said it usually takes both doses but I have this uneasy feeling that this one won't work either. I don't know what else I can do to get things moving!!
