Here we go ladies!!! Let's continue it here and hope we all just switch from the TTC group to the pregnancy group

I’m 9 weeks today - have my dating scan on 12th June. Started getting very lightheaded and dizzy today so think I may have to tell work so I can take it a bit easier xx

@BabynameEdie totally normal. I even had some the other day that had a yellowish tinge! (TMI) thought it was infection but the gp said all was fine. But often I'd have to run to the loo thinking I'm bleeding, and it's just cm. it's keeping infection away from the baby by washing it out apparently.

@SpongeBobGrannyPants we're around the same dates. What's your due date? You're very good for waiting. Have you got a scan date through then?

@cakelaur I have my 12 week scan on 6th June too and EDD is 16th December so very similar. I'm trying to hold out til the 6th June. I lost my last at 24 weeks so it will be between my 12 and 20 week scan that I'll want as many scans as I can have this time I think!

Hi all - hope it’s ok to join your lovely group. Just got my BFP yesterday (and again this morning, just to check I wasn’t dreaming) after a MMC in my first pregnancy in January at 8 weeks. I’m now so excited but completely terrified of another MC! How do you cope with the worry of it happening again? I know what you mean @BabynameEdie - feels like it’s going to be a very long few months!

@Olivecake congrats! I know, I don't think I can help because I'm really worrying about it all. My line didn't get darker this morning on frer, same as yesterday, and my temp dipped a little too although still above cover line. Ahh I feel crampy and grumpy so feel af must be on her way 😩 it's so confusing!!

Congrats @olivecake! I have no idea how we don't worry. I'm 9+6 and was awake half the night last night panicking about the fact my boobs have stopped hurting and I've felt less sick! I've had 2 scans but next one isn't until 12 weeks and it's beginning to feel like too long a wait!

Congrats @Olivecake I had an mmc in Jan too!! And to say this pregnancy has been a panicked one is an understatement!

@BabynameEdie stop temping!! I promise it's for the best! Your temp will fluctuate a little and you'll panic. Which isn't good for you or baby. Cramps are normal. I thought AF was showing almost every day. Even had some spotting around 6 weeks. All was fine.

@Cakelaur thank you.. sorry feel I've been a real moaner since joining this thread! Just didn't think I'd be quite so anxious about it all. Maybe you're right about the temps, I could just let it go...but feel a bit addicted! Will stop from now on though. Relief to hear cramps are normal. It's just so different to how I felt with first pregnancy in Jan which miscarried, all different symptoms so this feels weird! Cramps, bloating, exhausted this time around.
Thank you for your support everyone. Hoping I snap out of this low moment soon, maybe when my boobs start to ache!?

5 weeks today going to be a long 7 weeksish to first scan when it will really feel real.

@BabynameEdie don't worry about expressing concerns. Don't forget we've all been there. I'm nearly 10 weeks now. I'm still worried about it going wrong. But like my OH always says. New pregnancy, new egg and sperm, and each pregnancy is different. And he's right. I'm much sicker this time round. But my boobs aren't as sore. Had a few days of nipples being on fire and my boobs gently ache. And my more cramping than last time, but I think that's good. Baby is settling in and stretching everything and growing (most importantly) I still have dreams almost every night that they scan me and the baby is gone so I totally get you. Sending hugs babe and feel free to be in the centre of the huddle.

@Patienceofatoddler this is much longed for baby number 1!!! I'm 34 today!! Whoop!! My last birthday without being a mum hopefully!!

@Cakelaur happy happy birthday! Thank you for you reassurance, it's just so hard to let it feel real. This will also be my first (fingers crossed!) and it's such a strong feeling that all I want now is to be a mum💕

This will my my first too and I’m turning 32 this year.

Feeling slightly more positive today - trying not to think too much about what can go wrong or over analyze my body - @BabynameEdie my boobs hurt a lot last time and don’t this time but like @Cakelaur said Every time is different and it doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong. I’m sure they will be hurting again soon and you’ll be missing these days when they didn’t!

@BabynameEdie it's really hard not to worry but your temp will fluctuate a bit. Mine has been and at my scan last week (6 weeks) all was fine despite my panic that the temp variations meant something was wrong.

@Patienceofatoddler this is number 2 for me - my boy was 2 at the start of April. Your username is a v accurate description of him at times 😂

Lovely there's some 2nd babies here to - I always found it so so hard admitting we already had children when going through the sale what unexpected turmoil of TTC as the months and months rolled passed.

@BabynameEdie sadly I was working pretty much all day. Went round my mum and dads for lunch, and was slightly annoyed although I sound totally ungrateful!! My mum has a tendency to buy absolute crap and wrap is as presents. So they asked what I wanted and I just said some cash this year would be great (I never ask for cash) with so much needed buying for. Anyway I get there and there is a massive pile of random presents. I like flamingos (but on the odd key ring or flip flop... I had flamingo everything, shoes, backpack, bottle opener, napkins, socks, you name it. I was like. Ummmmmmm. Obviously it's pregnancy hormones but I went to the loo and cried!!! I feel like such a horrible person!! But I was really hoping for money so I could put it towards a new garden table and the scan! 🙈 anyway she out in so much effort, made cupcakes (with flamingos on!!!) and giant flamingo balloon..... I mean if i was 7 it would have been amazing!! I'm just not a wasteful present and almost wished she'd saved the money. And now I feel guilty cos I'm never gonna wear any of the stuff. Gosh I sound so ungrateful! Sorry just had to rant for a minute!! Obviously I was very thankful in front of my mum because she is wonderful.

And then! To top it all off. My OH escorts the royal family.... so you can imagine this week has been manic. And he has been in hotels all week. He sent me some gorgeous flowers. But then I called him and he was working all day in Windsor. We were invited to his sisters house for a bbq and I politely rejected because I had to work and he was working and I felt mean going without him. Anyway. He tells me he's snuck off work for a couple hours and gone there!! I was like are you kidding? It's my birthday and you don't come home to see me?? It really upset me. His sisters house is close to Windsor but still. I'm defo mega crazy emotional pregnant woman today!!! Haha and I can't even have wine to fix it!
