Hi ladies been quietly following everything on here. Finally plucked up courage to go to my docs who have made me an appointment at EPU after 2 miscarriages in past 6 months. My worry is by my dates I'll only be 6+2 so will they be likely to see anything? Anyone had a scan at roughly that far along?

@tweedles1511 they should see something hun but if not they'll ask you to come back 1-2 weeks later :) it's worth going to try and see little bean x

@tweedles1511 I had a scan last week at 5+6. They said I was a few days behind but there was a heartbeat and yoke, sac and fetal pole. (I thought you only had all these at 6 weeks but it's so small dates can be off) my point is 6+2 should see the little bean, and a heartbeat. But don't be concerned if not. Heartbeat starts anywhere from 5-7 weeks I think. Fingers crossed.

Thanks ladies. So I guess we'll just go and see.... eeek. Had in my head that it would be next week but maybe good that I have less time to panic. How's the trans vaginal been for everyone? For some reason that is bothering me too - I know it won't hurt baby but worry it might make me bleed. Which will then just make me more anxious again. Long few weeks all of this isn't it!! Was so chilled my first pregnancy!!

I've not figured out how to reply! But congrats to you all and thank you for the well wishes. The "knicker watch" is driving DH a bit mad. And me to be honest. Sprry for TMI but there is a fair amount of thick white discharge. From what i can gather its normal but i panic when i see the odd brown/orange bit. Just been for a very very gentle bike ride with DH and hoping this hasnt done any harm xx

I have been trying to contact the EPU all day. Just get a message and no option to leave a message. I was ringing to organise a early scan. But just been to the loo and I’m spotting. So probably game over for me again, I know that’s negative but it’s happened so many times now that I can’t be positive! Argh. Any other way to contact them. Not that a scan will help now

@Primrose16 Don't panic! Try the community midwives? They might have another way of getting you through to EPU ? X

@BobbySD345 thank you. I rung gp, got through to community midwife who then passed me on. Clearly answer Internal numbers. I am being seen on Friday at 8:35. Asked the stupid question of any suggestions to help me keep this one. I know the answer is nothing but couldn’t help it

@Primrose16 it's not a stupid question it's something we would all like to know. Fingers crossed for Friday and I'm glad you got through.

Does anyone know whether I should call GP or EPU if I think I have a UTI? My tummy pains have got worse today and feel like a stitch and also I have that nagging feeling "down there" which I get with a UTI.

@Primrose16 glad they can see you reasonably quickly, although tomorrow is still going to drag. Hopefully it's just nestling in rather than anything else. Completely understand why you're finding it hard to think like that.

Just checking in and haven't really been keeping up, sorry! Epu have agreed to scan me on Monday 14th when I'll be 6+3. Last time I had a suspected ectopic so they want to check everything is in the right place. Got my drs appointment the week after to get referred to the midwife team. Taking it one day at a time but each day seems to last a week!

@lolli18 my scan isn't until next week unfortunately. I am hoping all the nausea, food aversions and tiredness are a good sign. I basically feel rubbish most of the day.

@ aw no hopefully settles a bit soon. I got a phone call from doctors this morning I have a urine infection and I'm on anti biotics now that must be why my back pain and hot and cold flushes/chills are so extreme and I just feel under the weather and shitty tbh, can't be dealing with work tomorrow 😕 x

@Primrose16 glad to hear you finally managed to get through to midwife.. I hope the scan has the outcome you want x

Midwife should be able to help with UTI @Martydog - I had quite a few through my first pregnancy and my midwife was very helpful.

My nausea and tiredness is there but not all day every day, so I'm starting to get a bit anxious that things arent as they should be. Really wishing I'd booked my scan for this weekend!

@Primrose16 I'm so sorry you're going through this right now. Again. Sending massive hugs. I know it's hard to imagine anything but bad news. But baby could be perfectly snug in there. I have absolutely everything crossed for you babe! And will do until Friday. Stay strong babe. Xx

Thank you everyone. I didn’t sleep last night, feel like a zombie today. Just sat in bed with my dd watching doc mcstuffins. Getting cramping and had some brown this morning.

@Primrose16 hopefully that's the sign of the end of the bleeding. And bub is just snuggling in. What time tomorrow is the scan?

@cakelaur your puppy is beaut my little lady agrees. Her eyes lit up and said ‘woof woof’. 8:35 in morning. So not much waiting. I fear that it won’t help me feel better though.

Hope everything is ok @primrose16 it's awful been in this situation. I've booked another scan for Saturday after spotting is continuing i just need to know either way. I have alot going on in life atm so really am hoping it's my blessing and angel (have a young terminally ill parent who's very ill atm) and after telling them last time and having to tell them I'd lost it I cant go through it again. It really is shit. @cakelaur your baby is beautiful 😍 I love my little pup so much they really do make life happier no matter what x

@xLeanne128 I’m sorry you are going through this and so so sorry that you have the added upset of your parent. Life is just shit and unfair sometimes.
