@BobbySD345 defo get the chocolate buttons out. (You need no reason for that) I even argued with the sonographer that my dates were 100% right and they said it could just be the angel the blob is at. But they also said it could be late implantation or you may have ov on the right day but it met the sperm right at the end, a day makes a big difference at this stage. You think, hcg doubles in a day or two, so does the babies size and development. Mine was 3mm... how they could tell that from the blob I was looking at was beyond me.

Did the Drs seem overly concerned? I've heard so many stories where before 6weeks was disappointing and after 7/8weeks everything was there. So no panicking just yet. I was worried to go in today for fear of being told there was nothing but it was just too early. I totally understand you're so gutted. But wait until next weeks scan. I bet you're pleasantly surprised. Same goes for you @peachesarenom

@BobbySD345 aw it could of been a late implanted or you might have ovulation wrong try not to worry,
❤️

BobbySD345 · 23/04/2018 20:58

@lolli18 @cakelaur @peachesarenom
She just said she doesn't know at the moment as it's too early. She is convinced I'm only 4 weeks but I got my first positive test with a CBD on 13th April. I just can't get my head around it. Because say I did ovulate on 28th (pretty confident) which was earlier than my app predicted (1st), surely I'd be further along than I think ?! So confusing

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 21:00

@BobbySD345 did you get negatives until 13th? Were you doing opks? Or temping?

Didn't mean to write the end but got confused reading 2 threads at once xx

BobbySD345 · 23/04/2018 21:08

@cakelaur I had negatives on cheapo tests and then on 13th did a CB digi because I had sore boobs and it came up with 1-2. All my cheapo tests thereafter came back with lines but really faint.

Most recent was a pink first reponse which was a darker line and then CB digi on Thursday last week which said 2-3.

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 21:15

Hmm. Yeah stumped. Cos if you did Ov on 28th, that puts you at 5+5. You'd only need to be behind by a week to be without a fetal pole. I'm behind 3 days or so. Dunno babe. It's defo gonna be a long old week. When's your next scan?

OP posts:
Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 21:16

@BobbySD345 if it helps at all though I got 3+ on cb digi on Friday last week.

It is a tough time x

BobbySD345 · 23/04/2018 21:59

@cakelaur she booked me in for May 5th but said she wanted me back in a week. We just weren't sure we could have the time off work as they have no late clinics next week. If I can get away with an hour out of the office I'll try and go sooner.

BobbySD345 · 23/04/2018 22:02

She also said she could see a corpus luteum in my left ovary

BobbySD345 · 24/04/2018 08:04

@peachesarenom just noticed your dimensions mines only 3 x 3 x 3mm 😪☹

Cakelaur · 24/04/2018 09:43

@BobbySD345 mine only measures 3mm. The sac and yoke were bigger but the baby was only 3mm

Oh BobbySD345 ask for a blood test?

MagicalCreatures · 24/04/2018 10:44

I’ve just had the first of 2 blood tests for the HCG hormone done.
Last time my HCG didn’t rise properly indicating something was wrong so 🤞 this one is better.
Next one Thursday morning x

Cakelaur · 24/04/2018 11:17

Good luck @MagicalCreatures when's the next test! In a couple days?

Athers666 · 24/04/2018 11:18

Hi everyone. Big hugs to anyone worried at the moment about anything. It's such a scary time isn't it. I'm feeling a little bit more relaxed than I was, and have decided that what will be will be. I was driving myself to dispair and it was doing me no good. Don't see the midwife until next week so I still have a long wait. Tomorrow I'll be about six weeks and the tiredness has kicked in, I'm really struggling at work, just keep fantasising about going for a lie down!

MagicalCreatures · 24/04/2018 11:43

@Cakelaur yes it’s on Thursday x x

BobbySD345 · 24/04/2018 13:33

@Athers666 I need to relax like you say. It's too long of a wait to get freaked out but since my scan yesterday I'm now getting paranoid all my symptoms are disappearing. It will all be in my head no doubt.

Athers666 · 24/04/2018 13:44

@BobbySD345 Thinking of you x

peachesarenom · 24/04/2018 14:03

MagicalCreatures same here. My second one is tomoz, blood taken first thing, results after 1pm. When do you get results?

BobbySD345 · 24/04/2018 14:36

Does anyone know if my cycle lengths are a bit off whether that could affect my dating? I've got 5 + 4 but midwife said must be more like 4 weeks.

LMP 15th March
Predicted ov 1st April but actual ov 28th March

Cycles:
First period after October MC was December
Dec - Jan 29 days
Jan - Feb 32 days
Feb - March 34 days

Prior to my MC in October I was regular always 28 days.

(I know I know I'm driving myself potty with all this !! Sorry 😕🙈)

MagicalCreatures · 24/04/2018 14:56

@peachesarenom I should get the results for today’s blood, tomorrow and then Thursdays blood results on Friday. So I’ll know by the end of the week.
Have you got results from your first yet? X

peachesarenom · 24/04/2018 15:10

Sorry BobbySD345 I don't know.

No MagicalCreatures I haven't got yesterday's results. Whatever it is they are looking for it to double in 48 hours. So I think the actual number isn't a problem?
