Here we go ladies!!! Let's continue it here and hope we all just switch from the TTC group to the pregnancy group

I know I'm only 5 + 2 and it feels like I've been 5 weeks for ages.

Tell me about it. I’m 4+3. Found out I was pregnant 8 days ago and it’s going so slow ☹️

@Martydog @MagicalCreatures one of my friends didn't find out until she was 9 weeks - wouldn't that be nice so you don't have the initial weeks of worry and symptom spotting !

Bobby oh I wish. That sounds perfect. It’s a shame those ‘A stork brings the baby’ stories that our parents told us aren’t actaully true.

Martydog and MagicalCreatures, do you count weeks from the first day of the last period, or from the actual beginning of the pregnancy? ie am I 3+6 or 5+6?

MagicalCreatures I am horribly sick and it reminds me that I am pregnant all the time, when I really do not want to think about it yet.
On the plus side, the loss of my baby had triggered a four-month binge. I had put on 2.5st. I have already lost 10lb in 10 days .

@cakelaur have you phoned EPU? I hope you're OK xxx

I'm going tonight because I've got shooting pains, worried about it being ectopic.

Anyone else been for an early scan around 5-6 weeks does it need to be internal or can they see anything with a normal ultra sound?

And although I’m not being sick, I lost a stone at the beginning of my last pregnancy due to nausea and I’ve lost a kg already in this one.

It will have to be internal. From what I’ve heard I don’t junk anyone has seen a 5-6 week pregnancy through an abdominal.
Are the shooting pains all on one side then?
Do you not think there just round ligament pains, stretching? X

@cakelaur I'm sooo happy for you !! Did you have to have an internal scan? Relax now and think happy thoughts 😍 what did they say about the spotting?

@Magicalcreatures the pains lower left like dull ache/pulling are like what I imagine RLP is but I keep getting sharp pains on my right hand side. Really painful but gone in seconds. They seemed happy to have me in but now panicking if it's going to be internal because I'm still a bit mentally scarred from all the tests and procedures last time x

@BobbySD345 it was internal. You'll be fine babe. It's the best way for them to see. I sat there sobbing while they did it cos it just brought back memories of before. But I'm so glad I went. Sending hugs

@cakelaur OK thank you. Did they recommend you have anymore scans or have they said just see how you get on now. I'm was tempted to do a CB digital on wednesday or thursday when I should be at the 6 week point and see if there is a 3+ but if scan is OK I won't bother. Hubby is fed up of seeing tests in the bin I've probably spent over 30 quid on them 🙈

@NotBurpeesAgain I know what you mean because you just want to forget about it until 12 plus but if you are feeling sick that is a good sign ! 🌷

I've just phoned epu to see if they would give me an early scan but they said no! 😫
Gonna book privately for 7 weeks! Roll on another 2weeks! X

@Beck1988 I think they were reluctant when I phoned so we will see how pleasant they are when I turn up tonight ... I can see how it would be hard for them to offer to everyone purely because of lack of resources but when we have had a mc before it can be such a long wait for a 12 week.

1988...so you are 30 or nearly 30 same as me :) when do you think you could be due ?
