Spotting during early pregnancy?

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and have been spotting brown discharge for a week now. After 2 days I went to a&e because of previous ectopic. I was given a scan and ectopic ruled out, but spotting has continued. It is very light and can only be seen when I wipe. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it's quite normal. I'm terrified of another MC.

@jmfw34 my symptoms have gone too!! Maybe it’s just the stage we’re at? No it never does go away, I’m still spotting which is fine as everything was ok yesterday and then tonight I’ve passed a tiny tiny clot but is still making me worry?!?! 😩

@natashaarr I too passed multiple clots before having my scan and at scan things seemed ok so I'm sure you'll be fine 

@Cakelaur I'm sure you'll be ok too! I've asked multiple drs and nurses about this since I had my spotting, they've all said it's very common.

@cakelaur I’ve had spotting for weeks now and I’m sure it is nothing to worry about however it doesn’t stop you from worrying does it 😬

Thanks ladies. I'm off on holiday to Mauritius on Monday morning so no chance for another scan. But gonna enjoy the holiday and what will be will be.

How everyone doing? Good I hope? I'm struggling to cope with the fact that I won't have another scan until the 12 week one which is still another 2.5 weeks away. Starting to feel paranoid like my symptoms are disappearing and I can't feel my uterus (which I suppose is normal for 9 weeks) but just starting to feel too normal to be pregnant....Argh this will never stop!

Everything's ok for now touch wood got 12 week scan a week today it's dragging. Feel like there's nothing in there cos it's taking so long lol. How're you?

@Maedoula I am exactly there too, and although I remember feeling this way before with my DD, it doesn't make it any easier or make me less prone to the occasional freak out! Pretty sure @natashaarr was feeling this too.
Very few symptoms anymore, I do feel and look bloated but for most of the day I just feel totally normal and look a bit fat...! 
Have you had your midwife appt? I have mine tmw and feel like you, I can't wait another 2.5 weeks for a scan...wondering if they can hear a heartbeat on a Doppler this early on?
Hoping if I make it to 2nd trimester it starts to fly by as this has dragged so far! X

@jmfw34 It's reassuring you say you felt like that with your DD, hopefully a good sign that it's quite normal for symptoms to be up and down. All we can do is hope and pray...Being in the unknown zone at the last hurdle is certainly shit! X

I hope all your scans go well!

I am 4+1 (so early days) but I have had a small amount of pink spotting, followed by a very dry pea-sized clot. Have any of you ladies had something like that before?

I have had two chemicals in the last four months, really want this one to stick Sad

No problemSmile I was the same my spotting started around 4.5 weeks and carried on till around 7 on and off. Hope everything goes well x

I'm so nervous. My spotting has stopped and I'm now laid up on a sun lounger in Mauritius for a week. So my mind will be taken off it. Trying to forget about it until I'm back. I'm certain it will be the same fate as last time but who knows. Fingers crossed. We did see a tiny heart beat at 6 weeks. So maybe we've got a stick bean!!

@maedoula I feel exactly the same! So I’ve booked a private scan for 10+6 the day we go to Cyprus!! Only because my boss wouldn’t let me have my 12+2 scan off so I had to push it back to 12+6 and I’m not willing to wait those extra days! However I really want another scan even though I have a week to wait for my private one but I’ve had cramps and spotting and a little clot. However I can’t get out of work to go to the EPU :( I had really bad gallbladder pain at night as I have gallstones and decided to have fish and chips and I was in pain all night, I took 4 paracetamols in the space of under 4 hours which really isn’t good but it was so painful :(

@doranora I’ve passed a pea sized clot 3 times and everything has been ok, or was 8 days ago at my scan! Has the spotting stopped now?

@cakelaur wow hope you’re having a lovely time and relaxing!!

What date do everyone’s scan? So I can keep track on your progress :)

Thanks @natashaarr, I hope your scan goes well. There's no way I could wait that long either, I've booked one for 6+3!

The spotting has reduced, but I'm still getting a small amount of brown (occasionally red) stringy discharge. It only happens for a couple of hours in the middle of the day, so I think it might be hormonal.

I'll be reassured when my boobs get sore or morning sickness starts - haven't had a sniff of either of them yet.

@Lmj25 I hope your scan goes well. I'm so nervous too but I am trying to be positive in the hope it has a positive influence on the outcome!

@doranora I don’t blame you, especially that’s around the time they have a heartbeat if your dates are certain! I think it might be normal as mines the same. However i think when I’m spotting my symptoms stop, strange!
