Worried the genders wrong

Hi guys we went private and found the gender out yesterday but we left it a surprise to find out with my family so we didn't see the genitals on the scan. What would you say the gender was from these pictures?

Boy only cause there are no three lines

ladybirdees · 30/03/2018 09:53

Looks like a boy to me Smile

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 30/03/2018 09:55

Your post doesn't really make sense. Did you find out or not?

If they told you, they had a high degree of certainty. And a bunch of untrained internet randoms looking at a still image are not going to be able to give you better information than a professional sonographer looking at live data.

widgetbeana · 30/03/2018 09:56

Another vote for boy.

My gender scan for my daughter from the same angle clearly shows 3 lines.

MyDcAreMarvel · 30/03/2018 09:56

A boy, why are you worried?

frasier · 30/03/2018 09:57

I don't understand what you are saying.

"we went private and found the gender out yesterday"
"but we left it a surprise to find out with my family"

Did you find out or not?

Jords0105 · 30/03/2018 10:00

No need to jump down my throat! Yes we did find out but we did a gender reveal later that day.

Well would you care to explain what you mean? Like I said I have no idea what you're talking about I haven't been on here in 3 weeks!

OP posts:
frasier · 30/03/2018 10:09

Right, so you went for a scan and found out the gender. You then told your family later that day. But because you didn't see everything on the scan, you're worried that the gender may be wrong.

Just go and have another scan.

Jords0105 · 30/03/2018 10:11

Frasier you're clearly not listening to me and after being accused of doing something I haven't done I don't want to post on this site anymore. Just because I seemed to have asked the same question as someone the other week doesn't mean you can speak to me rudely when I haven't done anything wrong! Let's forget I posted this thread.

frasier · 30/03/2018 10:14

I haven't accused you of anything

onedayiwillmissthis · 30/03/2018 10:18

Impossible to know gender of unborn child. I think you mean the sex...which would be male or female.

ladybirdees · 30/03/2018 10:31

I think people are being really harsh to the OP. The tone of responses is not nice. How do you know for sure she's a repeat poster? And if she is, maybe she's struggling with a disappointment or something. You can choose not to reply to a thread, instead of being confrontational.

OP, I assume you think the scan pic doesn't match up to what it you were told. What were you told?

user1499786242 · 30/03/2018 10:40

How many weeks was this?
I honestly can't tell and I'm normally pretty good at telling
What were you told?
If you have Facebook you could post on some of the groups where there's lots of really experienced people and they can help you!

P.s I've had 3 scans all very clear what sex my baby is and I still have doubts so it's normal to worry
But they are very experienced and especially the private places! They won't tell you unless they are very very sure as it would be awful for their business if they kept getting it wrong! X

Flomper · 30/03/2018 10:44

Why would we be able to reassure anyone from a couple of static photos ober a yraimed sonographer that looks at babies in the womb 30/40 times a day? If you think the first sonographer was wrong the only way to reassure yourself is to go for abother scan and see what they say the sex of the baby is.

Cockmagic · 30/03/2018 10:47

Are you disappointed you're having a boy?

Jords0105 · 30/03/2018 11:01

I've asked people to stop posting on this thread now I wish I'd never posted it! The majority of the people are outright rude for no reason I haven't done anything wrong all I did was ask a question! Thankyou to the posters that haven't snapped at me and no of course I aren't disappointed I'm having a boy.
