Scared to tell husband

Please help. I feel so lost right now. A few hours ago i found out i am pregnant. I'm shocked. I have taken my pill religiously. I haven't been ill at all so there's no way it could have come out of my system. I just feel totally dumbfounded. It's not sinking in at all. I'm 31, with 2 children from my previous marriage who are 11 and 8 and married now to a man who has his own 2 children from a previous relationship. Neither of us wanted anymore kids with the 4 between us. We don't live together. He moved out in January but we are still together. He has some very serious amger issues and i have refused to let him move back in until he has them under control. Which in all fairness to him, he is now seeing a Doctor and waiting to be referred. But, i have tons of debt, £28,000 actually and cannot afford another baby. I have reduced that debt massively from what it was but i still don't have enough spare cash for a fish and chip dinner once a week, let alone a new baby. Not to mention the fact, i literally do not have the room in my tiny home for a cot or anything else baby related. We are incredibly cramped.but my main issue is my husband. He doesn't know yet, he lives at his Moms so i only see him a few times a week and i want to tell him face to face once i've plucked up the courage but to be truthful i am terrified. I had a scare a few years ago and he asked me what i would do if it turned out i was pregnant and i tols him i'd keep it. he went mental at all. Screaming/shouting, storming about the house. He then packed his things and left (this happens everytime we have a row hence why he's living at his Mom's as i've refused him to move back in until he sorts himself out) he was adament he wanted me to have an abortion. I have no family near by to help me out. I moved away from everyone to be with my now hubby. I don't get on with his family. He early gets his temper and behaviour patterns from them. I feel so lost and have no one to talk to. I'm not sure what to do. Please advise if anyone has been through similar.
Thanks
Stacey

Oh why do people do it? I remember when my Brother's GF was having their youngest, they told me the name idea for a boy and i'll admit i thought it was awful but i kept it to myself. I wouldn't want to upset someone on their name choice. Each to their own. Why somebody would want to burst anothers bubble, i'll never know. Think Amelia is lovely btw!
With the notes, i have no idea why they do it if i'm honest but unless there's complications, which fingers crossed there wont be for you and i'm sure there wont but maybe 'misplacing' them might be an idea for you too. I have a suitcase for each of my girls with their first babygrows, vests, bibs, hats, mittens, birthing cards and you'll probably think me nuts for this but...the clip thing they put on their belly buttons? I can't remember what they're called. But that's in a little pot in each too. Lol. Would have loved to have put their notes in there and i am definately doing it this time!
Enjoy it chick. Once you get to the exciting stage,it goes so fast, well if you feel well it does. Lol. You'll most likely find that you'll miss being pregnant once it's over. Obviously be thrilled to have baby with you but miss it too. It's hard to explain but you'll soon see what i mean. Lol. Xx

I know i think when your pregnant people seem to think your public property for them to do say and ask whatever they like!! Thank you its a name we have liked for ages even before i fell pregnant that is a lovely idea!! I plan on having a box and keeping certain things like cards and that awk thats nice to have too im very sentimental i have a box filled of stuff from when i planning my wedding so no doubt ill keep loads for baby too!! Im taking every week as it comes and just enjoying it 😊

becki3 · 01/04/2018 00:33

Amelia is my daughter's name, so can recommend that choice! I did go back and forth with it being a popular name, but we gave her an unusual middle name, so it balanced out!

Hiding your notes is such a good idea, I wish that I had thought of that!

Sushirolls · 01/04/2018 00:45

Just popping in, as I haven't posted on here for a couple of days. I hope you're well OP Flowers

Hope all is also well with you @LMX0 & @becki3 Smile

I'm super excited that I get to see my grandchild again in 3 weeks! 🎉🎉🎉

Stacey186 · 01/04/2018 10:23

@sushirolls. How far along is your Daughter now? Think it's lovely that you're so excited for her.

@becki3. I never thought of it either time. You'd think after my first, it would have occured to me then but nope. Definately am this time though!

Amelia is very pretty. I also like the name Amelie. I think that's how it's spelt? But it sounds too much like my Hubby's ex girlfriends name so not happening! Lol.

@LMX0 do you find random strangers seem to think you're public property too? I don't like randomers thinking they can touch my belly and found with both the girls people would try. Very few people i let touch me. I have issues with personal space and only those i love will be allowed to grope my belly! Lol. And rude people...commenting how fat you seem to be getting. I consider myself to be a nice person but could have whacked some people for their insensitivity! It's all coming back to me now and i have it all to look forward to again. Lol.

Morning @Stacey186 x My daughter was 17 weeks yesterday, the time is whizzing by!!! She has her 20 week scan on the 23rd x I'm going to be keeping my eyeballs peeled 🤓 but I'm already convinced that I have a little grandson in there 💕

Amelia is a beautiful name x My youngest daughter had a friend in junior school with it, and one of her best friends who recently moved away, was called Amelie (also beautiful!). My daughter is thinking of Erin if she has a little girl, which totally coincidentally, is what I nearly called her! The girls name is her BF choice. Regarding bump being touched, my daughter has sensory issues and I'm going to get her a t-shirt printed with Touch my bump, I break your Face 😇😇😇😂😂😂

Happy Easter to you all Easter Smile Cake Flowers

LMX0 · 01/04/2018 10:38

@Sushirolls all well here thank you hope your keeping well too & how exciting i bet you cant wait!!!
@Stacey186 im a hairdresser so i find alot of clients seem to forget their manners sometimes in fact i had a good laugh yesterday with a client i get on well with i think the most memorable one was a client i hadn't even told i was pregnant, she had overheard asking me if it was planned!! How rude!! Random strangers in the street i havnt had trouble with yet but i am heavier so hide it more but what i have noticed when out shopping people seem to bang into me more lately
@becki3 i was thinking of rose as her middle name what did you go with?

LMX0 · 01/04/2018 11:11

@Sushirolls brilliant!!! I wonder if my boss would see the funny side? How funny is that but Erin is a lovely name too!! Im sure the time is flying by me and my mum were both convinced i was having a girl and we where right so you never know!!!

becki3 · 01/04/2018 16:25

I worked in a bar when I was pregnant and people would constantly come up to me and touch my belly, it was awful, I wish that I had had that t-shirt! @Stacey186 @sushirolls

@LMX0 Amelia Rose is so beautiful, I love it! We went with Willow for her middle name, my partner said it one night and we looked at each other and that was it... baby named!

Sushirolls · 01/04/2018 17:33

@LMX0 I love Amelia Rose, I also always loved Abigail Rose Smile How are you coping with being PG and on your feet all day?? X

@becki3 My youngest DD has Willow as a middle name

LMX0 · 01/04/2018 19:08

@becki3 thank you 😊 ohh willow is beautiful

becki3 · 08/05/2018 07:22

I have been trying to find this thread! I hope that everyone is well!

Stacey186 · 08/05/2018 08:18

Hi guys.
All is ok. I'm 11+3 now so almost at the 'safe' zone. Had a scan a couple of weeks ago just to check all was ok because of the pains i was having but all seems fine. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
Hubby and i are still living apart but he was very happy and excited at the scan. It's an odd arrangement i know but i'm happier and more settled like this.
My fur baby, Narla had kittens last week too ❤ lol.
Sorry i haven't been on much. Been working loads to save and the weathers picked up so i'm working in the garden as much as i can whilst we have sunshine.
How is everyone?

becki3 · 08/05/2018 12:41

So amazing to hear! Whatever works for your family.

Same, isn't this hot weather great? Exactly what I needed, as I was starting to very down by being inside with my little one all day. I took her in the garden the other day and she was obsessed with staring at the trees and plants. I realised that that was her first time seeing colourful trees.

Good luck with everything!

lmx0 · 08/05/2018 14:59

Stacey186 · 27/05/2018 09:46

OP posts:
becki3 · 27/05/2018 13:44

Oh, what a great scan! Thank you for sharing the picture with us, little bean looks so beautiful!

Reaa · 27/05/2018 14:44

Your full name is in the scan pic, you might want to ask MN to remove ir crop personal information out.

Stacey186 · 28/05/2018 08:55

@Reaa thanks for pointing that out. I've asked MN to remove it for me.

@becki3 i know. I couldn't believe how clear the scan was. My girls 12 week scans were no where near that clear. Booking in for a private one at 16 weeks so i can take my girls to see too and find out what we're having. Too excited! How are you?
