Hahahaha @ PPS!!! You sound like me!!!

I'm only 9+6 but I tend to put it away too!

It's got to the point where I am having to control what i eat and am going to hit the gym tomorrow because i cant walk and talk at the same type and this will also help to keep those junk food pounds off!

MrsBadger · 30/04/2007 14:25

oh don't

My body, without any apparent input from my brain, chose, bought and paid for a box of doughnuts in Sainsburys in Friday night and ate them all in the car on the way home.

I still don't know quite how it happened.

OMG, Mrs B, that's horrendous!!!!

beckmo · 30/04/2007 15:11

I thought I was doing quite well...until I discovered mint magnums.

Babylovesmuffins · 30/04/2007 16:17

since about 20 weeks I've been constantly hungry, almost immediately after I've eaten!!

I seem to have gone full circle from junk food (this was all I could face in the first trimester) to very healthy food, back to junk food again....aargh - anything goes, as long as it's very sweet and full fat! (I am mixing it with fruit & veg too so it's not all bad)

Will need to get back to the gym...

Oooh, oooh, me too! I'm 24+1 with twins and feel like I'm doing Weight Watchers again, only without the actual dieting. CONSTANTLY HUNGRY!

Puppie · 30/04/2007 17:18

I never had any MS so have had a raging appetite right from the start with no sign of it abating now!!! (20 wks). I have not weighed myself and neither has my midwife thank god otherwise I would be in trouble!

RGPargy · 30/04/2007 17:20

Bibithree, no wonder you were hungry if you were doing Weight Witches!!!

Funnily enough i was explaining to my DP this morning how i can suddenly be ravenously hungry and HAVE to eat there and then or else!! There's no "slight peckish" feeling or anything like that anymore. It's just WHAM!!! I'm starving!!!

raids vending machine

Beckmo - please tell me those Mint Magnums are dark chocolate? If they are then that's fine as I dont like dark choc but if they're milk chocolate then i'm doomed to stuff my face on them. Woe is me

apeainapod · 30/04/2007 17:25

12+5 - I weigh the same now as I did with DD at 20 weeks. I have already put on 10lbs - oops!!!!........and there's no stopping me!

RGPargy · 30/04/2007 17:28

pea - poor you!! I'm lucky to have only put on 4lbs, then i lost a pound so i've only put on 3lbs.

It's shocking Argy, I found out last week, it's another girl. With the boys I was very bump and no extra weight, and then with my daughter I did put on some 'baby weight' too. Maybe that was due to eating Ben and Jerrys every night for the last 4 weeks - she was 10 days overdue!! Maybe it IS a girl thing.

apeainapod · 30/04/2007 18:03

Argy - Are you on the due in November thread?

RGPargy · 30/04/2007 18:07

Pea - Ice cream has deffo got to be a girl thing!

No, i'm not in the due in November thread. I'm new to this site (only been here about a week) so i didn't know there was one.....

apeainapod · 30/04/2007 18:09

It's a nice thread you should join. Is this your first?

Nbg · 30/04/2007 18:11

I cant stop eating at all. I probably have a heart attack before I have this baby due to all the salty and fried foods I cannot stop eating

Pmsl at MrsB

RGPargy · 30/04/2007 18:13

Pea - just joined it so there is some info on there

Not my first, but may as well be lol. My DS1 is 16 years old things have changed SOOOO much in that time!!

Lwatkins · 30/04/2007 19:15

I haven't really increased the ammount I eat, I don't think. But I do go from being not hungry to suddenly 'WANT FOOD NOW!' And it's awful if I have to wait, the hunger pains are almost unbearable. If anybody gets in my way when I am hungry and trying to get food sorted I'm not the nicest of people to be around Don't want to even talk about how much I weigh cause it depresses me even though I think I've put on the normal weight gain, it still makes me sad to think about it! (36+4)

MrsFish · 30/04/2007 21:07

I am always hungry too which is a pain as about half an hour after eating anything I am getting god awful heartburn

I am 18 weeks and have put on about 12 pound so far.

beansontoast · 01/05/2007 11:19

i was just thinking ''im a bit peckish ill go get something'' then i saw this thread!

so im going to rant a little...still in astonishment really....despite the fact that thi shas been going on for nearly six months!

i have on the whole been insatiably hungry from the word go...even when i was really sicky at the beginning i only felt better when i ate...

tehn i suppose i did have about three weeks when i was 'back to normal'...but couldnt get out of the habit of eating all the blimmin time....

and NOW it sback with avengence...

scrambled eggs and thick toast for breccie...at about 7.30...fruit on the train...ciabatta toasted sandwich with pesto and allsorts and tea when i get to uni...baguette,hummous cherry toms for lunch...tea and cake at about three...flapjack at the station...spot of grazing at the fridge when i get in...tehn a 'proper dinner'...

and it is so EXPENSIVE

and this is all the time! by rights i should be ALOT fatter

Holly29 · 01/05/2007 13:26

I am 18+5 and have been constantly hungry from the start, and it shows no signs of abating... Do you think it is to do with body weight when you got pg? Because I was a fairly slender size 8 when I got pg (not now of course) and maybe your body just puts on extra weight to support the baby or something because you don't have much in the way of reserves? Either way, it has become a running joke with both my room-mate at work and my DH as to just how much I can pack away these days...

apeainapod · 01/05/2007 13:43

beansontoast - PLEASE change your name on this thread!!! I've just had to go and make beans on toast - smothered in brown sauce yum!

RGPargy · 01/05/2007 13:43

'Sall about the Heinz Spaghetti!!

Princesspowersparkle · 01/05/2007 13:51

Well glad I'm not the only one!! Am 28+4 and have put on about a stone (not that I know whether this is good or not). Although the way I'm going it will increase 10 fold by the time I actually give birth!
