I’m having a shitty day and just want to vent so please feel free to post up anything that’s bothering you!!

I’m huge and in pain, fed up with being hormonal and just had an argument with DH but not even sure what it was about! I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s probably just me being a psycho preggo but I’m not quite ready to admit that.
I’m not sleeping at night, sleeping too much in the day and basically just want to cry and throw a massive tantrum.

deep breaths

So, what’s getting you down?

I don't like sleeping on my side. I can't do it. I always wake up with horrendous earache, a stiff, painful shoulder or a dead arm. Wakes me up every couple of hours or so. I miss sleeping on my front!

Mrstobe90 · 06/01/2018 01:09

Sending you hugs! I get uncomfortable lying on one side for too long but it hurts to roll over! I missed the glowing stage of pregnancy lol

Changed my mind about this baby lark. Shame I'm 40 weeks today...

Very fed up of not being able to walk and being so big. Also struggle to sleep on left side, ok on right but have to swap sides every few hours to relieve pressure on hips and then them clicking/ pain wakes me up.

Skin starting to get horrible but I think that's because I've given up looking after it so close to due date!

Hugs to all :)

Ct17218 · 06/01/2018 04:37

Yeah this whole lack of sleep thing BEFORE the baby is here is a bunch of crap! If I’m not waking up do to pain, it’s because I’m on the verge of wetting myself. As for the “glow” I never had it! MIL is already planning grandchild number 2!! Not after this bloody pregnancy! You have 2 other children that can provide you with that!!

Piewraith · 06/01/2018 05:34

I told my DH that the day I give birth will be happiest day of my life. And not because my child is here - because this horrible pregnancy will be over!

HerSymphonyAndSong · 06/01/2018 05:39

I am only 22 weeks but I have nasty cold so feel very sorry for myself. And I can’t sleep anyway, and it hurts to turn over in bed. And I have heartburn in the evenings

Jinglesplodge · 06/01/2018 06:49

I've found my people. 37 weeks tomorrow and I'm not getting any sleep any more. Everything hurts when I lie down! My hips, my back, my bump. I've been awake since 3:30 and my 3 year old has been up since 6.

I just want to magically get comfortable and have a full night's sleep. My baby has a tendency to be back to back and I'm doing everything I can to persuade him to come round so I can't just prop myself up on the sofa and relax that way. It's miserable.

Didntcomeheretofuckspiders · 06/01/2018 10:27

I feel horrendously sick, have done all week. Have had about 4 hours sleep due to nice nocturnal vomiting. Can’t eat, opening the fridge turns my stomach. I’ve got about 33 weeks left of this and I’m already miserable. I’m in my mid-20s this is supposed to be the bloody prime of my life.

Mrstobe90 · 06/01/2018 11:47

Hugs to all!

I’ve barely slept and feel so out of it. DH is telling me to try and sleep but I don’t want to waste the day.

People say pregnancy is hard but I never really understood until now!
34 weeks today! 6 more to go sob

37 weeks and I'm also huge and in constant pain. My tummy is burning where the skin is ripping and stretch marks are appearing (never knew that stretch marks hurt). My back hurts and I can barely walk or even sit - I keep having to go and lie down. I've had the flu and my stomach muscles are agonisingly painful when I cough. I can hardly breathe and I'm fed up with peeing constantly and leaking in between. I've cried all night because I just want this pregnancy to be over, and I'm afraid the pain is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Surely humans could have evolved to cope with pregnancy better than this!

ScurfyTwiglet · 06/01/2018 12:24

Yes. 34 weeks and frankly if I'm not either sleeping, eating, bathing or having sex, then I'm angry and SORRY WHAT AM I DOING HERE?

Mrstobe90 · 06/01/2018 13:18

@ScurfyTwiglet what is this ‘sex’ that you speak of? Lol
If DH comes anywhere near me with his thing, I’ll chop it off

DH has no desire to come near the angry beached whale but even if he did I suspect my treacherous pelvic bones would lock him in and we would need to be surgically separated.

After days at home not moving further than kitchen/ bathroom/ sofa/ bed I thought I was up for a walk to our local high street. First 100m were fine, now in agony and even effing grumpier than before.

2 days overdue. Want this baby out of me. I ate a whole large pineapple, with a second one lined up but all it did was burn my lips. On my face.

User45632874 · 06/01/2018 14:51

Can't resist these threads...I think they are what keeps me sane!
Can really relate to the disturbed/lack of sleep and sore hips from sleeping on my side (usually sleep on my back or front) so just not very comfortable. 28+3 today...and time seems to be dragging by. It is cold outside today but this at least I felt grateful for it...beats being huge and sweltering in the heat like my previous pregnancies ( I gave birth to dc1 in a heat wave!)

Jinglesplodge · 06/01/2018 15:25

Is anyone else unbearably grumpy?! In addition to the physical pain and indignity I'm a total arse to be around. I just want to crawl away and let everyone else get on with it.

Appygolucky1234 · 06/01/2018 16:19

@jinglesplodge - yep. With you there. I can't stand myself atm!

flowa79 · 06/01/2018 16:30

I feel you ladies. 33+2 on my 4th with a huge 16yr age gap between youngest and bump. My memory is shit my balance equal to a weeble wobble toy, back in half. Doesnt help i broke it several yrs ago and have suffered since. Also suffer fluid buold up in brain and since off meds headaches from hell. Am truely suprised oh and dc are still talking to me. Really hate myself as also have concerns with lo (growth restriction and now reduced blood flow) may need him out next week if no change. Yip not my finest several months

Mrstobe90 · 06/01/2018 18:46

flowa79 I’m sorry to hear that! Hope everything goes well xx

I’ve just walked around Asda and ended up with braxton hicks and could barely move. I looked like a complete tit, waddling at the pace of a snail!
I keep asking DH to put me out of my misery as it’s cruel to keep a living being in this state lol

flowa79 · 06/01/2018 19:04

Lol my bh r like that too. Avoiding walking anywhere much as head engaged and feel as if i have a bowling ball between my legs when they hit. I know iv looked a right tit when trying for graceful exits 😂 not five mins ago settled on sofa with the pooch and 1 hit and needed loo so desperately couldnt move dog quick enough.....well clean up in aisle 6 is all i can say lol

Cakeandmarshmallows · 06/01/2018 19:19

Hugs to all and I feel so much better hearing I am not the only one! First Baby, 27 weeks and I do not get on well sleeping on my side and thought I was the only one who got earache from this! As well as hip, back, side etc etc pain, waking up trying to roll over....and I know I have more to come!! Heart burn and acid reflux and a bad cold are not a comfy combo!!! All the best to everyone, glad we can share on here!!

sezalou · 06/01/2018 21:24

Oh I hear you! I've just hopped into bed as the couch was making me too uncomfortable. It's my back that is constantly aching, nothing makes it feel any better. I'm only 21 weeks and I'm dreading going back to work on Monday

dippyeggandsoldiers · 06/01/2018 22:09

What is this sleep you speak of?
IM SO FED UP, I can't wait for baby to be here, I'm so uncomfortable and agitated!

Mrstobe90 · 06/01/2018 23:54

Nice to know we’re all suffering together! Misery loves company :D

Tonight is a mixture of pain and being itchy all over! I feel so blessed to be pregnant but OMG I CAN’T WAIT TO GET THIS BABY OUT!!

OP posts:
dippyeggandsoldiers · 07/01/2018 00:10

@Mrstobe90 I'm SO itchy too paired with the worst heartburn ever & I'm sorry but if anyone else tells me that pregnancy is magical and it's not an illness and blah blah BLAH, I may punch them in the face.

Mrstobe90 · 07/01/2018 01:48

I wonder what’s causing the itching? You’re the only other person that I’ve spoken to that’s had it!
Probably just super sensitive skin.

And chug gaviscon like there’s no tomorrow!
Considering I’ve suffered with heart burn for years, I’ve surprisingly been ok. I’m on Lansoprazole for a hiatus hernia and thought pregnancy would make it horrific but in all honesty, I think the pregnancy has cured the constant heartburn lol
