I’m having a shitty day and just want to vent so please feel free to post up anything that’s bothering you!!

I’m huge and in pain, fed up with being hormonal and just had an argument with DH but not even sure what it was about! I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s probably just me being a psycho preggo but I’m not quite ready to admit that.
I’m not sleeping at night, sleeping too much in the day and basically just want to cry and throw a massive tantrum.

deep breaths

So, what’s getting you down?

@Mrstobe90 no idea but it's driving me insane, if it's not my bump itching, it's my legs and chest! I've ran out of gaviscon, currently in bed chugging milk like there's no tomorrow! Wide awake, YET AGAIN. sleep Is for the weak lol

HerSymphonyAndSong · 07/01/2018 02:12

Hmm, you might want to let your MW know about the itching if you haven’t already - it’s probably fine, but worth checking

Ugh I'm huge, just had to take my trousers off to allow my tummy to roam free and bra off to allow boobs the same luxury. I've heart burn and full of wind
Worse still I'm not even pregnantBlushSmile

karategirl · 07/01/2018 05:15

I'm so sick of my sleep pattern being up the bloody spout. The night before last, I slept for 11 hours solid, having also napped during the day. This morning, I've been wide awake since 1:30am with horrendous nausea, and will undoubtedly be entirely unable to funcion all day. Absolutely no idea what to do with myself.

Mrstobe90 · 07/01/2018 09:59

@hersymphony I spoke to my midwife about it last week and she wasn’t concerned :) thank you for the advice though!

@lonesurvivor that made me chuckle!

@karategirl sorry you’re feeling so crap! I feel your pain!
I slept through half of yesterday whereas I’m currently running off a few measly hours sleep! So tired but can’t drift off and baby seems to be practicing gymnastics!

29 weeks tomorrow, don't think I can handle another 11 weeks of this! I woke up 6 times last night to pee, sleeping on my side is shit! My back is in agony, I'm constantly tired, constantly hungry. The heartburn is something else, I now drink gaviscon directly from the bottle.
My bum cheeks hurt, I've been told this is my pelvis, but they are in constant pain. No matter how I sit/lay it is uncomfortable.
I don't go on maternity leave until the beginning of march so I still have to work full time with all this. I am the most miserable person on the planet. Why does pregnancy have to be so bloody long!

Appygolucky1234 · 07/01/2018 14:20

In so much pain today after going for a walk yesterday (first time in days). Can't take any more of this. Having cramps at night but nothing suggesting that baby is coming any time soon...

Would be easier to take if I had my little baby to cuddle.

Appygolucky1234 · 07/01/2018 14:21

@LemonMuffin- if your job involves sitting at a desk make sure you have your set up looked at. I had a pillow to tilt my pelvis forward and then my chair was swapped and was given a desk that could go up and down, which did help a little.

InRainbows · 07/01/2018 23:13

Two words 'fanny daggers'.

Mrstobe90 · 08/01/2018 00:11

Fanny daggers lmao! Omg bless you, that must be awful but it sounds so hilarious lol! Sorry!!

InRainbows · 08/01/2018 12:46

The daggers have gone today phew! Yesterday I had them all day. Hope your all have better days today.

k4rlyb · 08/01/2018 13:12

Can I join? I'm currently 10 weeks with my first. My morning sickness is hitting me first thing and of an evening. Can't keep any of my dinner down, I can only sleep on my back as when I roll to my side it makes me feel worse. I'm trying to remain positive and ok but I could cry already and I've got a long way to go. Sad

seizethecuttlefish · 08/01/2018 18:24

Hello my people!
I'm 22 weeks. Loaded with the plague cold and feeling dizzy if I move at all. I've been off work for weeks due to severe HG, with no sign of going back. I can't sleep. The only time I'm not dizzy is lying down. I'm so bored, I can't even read a book as I can't get comfy doing it lying down. DH has just declared that he will be traveling most of Feb with work, which leaves me with a 4 yr old and unable to move. And if my mother tells me one more time, that it's all in my head and I need to get over myself, I'll murder her. I swear. I need you guys as an alibi and to hide the body.Blush

Mrstobe90 · 08/01/2018 23:04

Welcome fellow misery guts :D

Sorry to hear you’re all feeling poop!

@k4rlyb it will fly by and also last a lifetime! Pregnancy is weird like that! My sickness was awful but once is subsides, you can enjoy the pregnancy more. Just wait for the amazing kicks and the adorable bump!

@seizethecuttlefish that all sounds pretty crap! Hope February goes quick for you!
And there are a few people I could murder at the moment aha
There should be a charity that ships off annoying friends/family during pregnancy and brings them back when the baby is a few months old lol

Surprisingly, today has been positive for me. Only got 2 hours sleep last night but strangely I feel better than I have in months!

Hey ladies
Can I join, I'm 18w 5d and just having a crappy couple of weeks;aches, pains and now nose bleed minimum 1 a day.
Just sitting at work near tears because I'm shattered been up since 3:25am now I have a pounding headaches (icing on the cake). Just flipping fed up

Mrstobe90 · 09/01/2018 08:19

Have you asked your midwife about the nose bleeds?
Have a nap at your desk!

Mummyloves09 · 09/01/2018 09:13

@Mrstobe90 I haven't asked the midwife but I done some research and apparently it's really common in this stage of pregnancy.

k4rlyb · 09/01/2018 09:25

@Mrstobe90 thank you

dippyeggandsoldiers · 09/01/2018 13:57

I fell asleep for a whopping 45 minutes, then OH decided 4.45 this morning would be a great time to have sex? I swear I could've pulled the thing off. I have 0 motivation today, I'm seeing the midwife at 3 and I'm ashamed to say I've resorted to watching back to back keeping up with the Kardashian's in bed BlushBlush

Mummyloves09 · 09/01/2018 14:03

I love binge watching my programmes to catch up. best cure to a sleepless night 😊

Mrstobe90 · 09/01/2018 14:08

I’ve been binge watching Friends on Netflix. Love comfort TV.
Just had my first cup of raspberry leaf tea. Gagged my way through it 😂

I'm 35 weeks. ELCS booked for 8th Feb which is 3 days later than I expected. Those 3 days feel like about a year has been added on. I'm fed up of the hip pain and I've got gestational diabetes and am dying for a huge plate of pasta and pesto. Or a chocolate eclair. Last day of work on Friday which is exciting.

Newmummytobe2018 · 09/01/2018 14:52

Currently 39w and 4 days and all I do is moan I get that being pregnant is a blessing and I do truly feel blessed but the ending of your pregnancy is so hard. Everything about it is frustrating. Iv never wanted to go into labour so bad and this is my first. Can’t wait to have that first painful contraction weirdly!!

Mrstobe90 · 09/01/2018 22:19

Baby’s been quiet today and it’s making me nervous!

OP posts:
McTufty · 09/01/2018 22:24

@mrstobe sure everything is fine but if baby not moving as much always worth getting checked out just to be safe x
