Anyone else out there sooooo ready for their babies now?!! I literally can barely eat anything and when I can it's the smallest amount

Can't wait to have my baby girl in my arms!
And be able to eat properly again Grin

I'm not going to wish for sleep because let's be honest sleep is still a long way away Hmm

Anyone fancy a moan and count down till we pop!

I'm here OP Waves!

DH has also gone out for his last all nighter before the baby comes and so i'm laid in bed miserable 😂

Current thoughts on my mind are how is it possible to be:

  • hot and cold at the same time
  • be so swollen up aith fluid but still need to wee every hour!

When are you due in October? I'm due 27th x

honeysucklejasmine · 02/09/2017 04:19

Yep. I have a toddler too so absolutely knackered. And yet here I am, awake at 4am. Really struggling with turning over in bed now, and my hips keep clicking on a threatening way.

Ah, the joys.

Merida83 · 02/09/2017 04:22

I feel your pain!
Can't remember last time I could get comfy enough to sleep well, and when I do it's up every bloomin hour to pee.
Starving all the time but 3 or 4 bites in and I'm done! And still getting frequent 'morning' sickness! (Wish it was just morning).
Feel enormous and my DF is so sweet in telling me I look like a beached Whale when sat down and a penguin when I waddle - known to most as walking!
Also pretty miserable with the back pain and spd.

But she'll be here so and I'm sure I'll forget everything once she is Smile

Yup! Due on 7th October and at my 34 week midwife appointment a few days ago I said I'm starting to feel impatient (due to excitement but mainly due to being utterly uncomfortable every waking moment in life and being sick daily since 8 weeks!) and she said "ooo, you're only 34 weeks, that's a bit too soon to be feeling impatient". 😱🙈 I know she didn't mean to be invalidating but I wanted to respond by throwing a completely toddler-worthy strop on the floor (if I could even get on the floor given my waddly status!!) 😂

10storeylovesong · 02/09/2017 09:07

I'm due 1st Oct and so done with being pregnant, between sickness, back pain and severe anaemia. I'm struggling so much running round after my 4 year old and just counting down days until he starts school so I can "rest" (e.g. Catch up on housework, get stuff ready for baby, batch book those meals I had planned etc). My DS came at 27 weeks so I've been high risk of prem birth and have been expecting baby to come early, but he looks comfy in there with no signs of making an appearance any time soon! I just want to be there for DS when he starts school and then happy for baby to arrive around 37 weeks!

Lemondrop99 · 02/09/2017 09:53

I'm due 30 Sept and yes, completely ready for this baby to arrive now. I just wanted to add a bit of hope. I too felt like I couldn't eat anything without it sitting almost in my throats for hours and feeling like my stomach was going to explode. It was awful.

However last week (35 weeks) the baby dropped and suddenly I can breathe again and I have some stomach capacity back! It's great! So the squished stomach thing might not stay up until labour. Of course, that's now been replace by lightening crotch but still.... Confused

silkybear · 02/09/2017 09:58

Due 2nd oct. Feeling very whale like. First baby was 2 weeks late so im hoping this one will turn up on time as im already livid and uncomfortable Confused

silkybear · 02/09/2017 10:00

Also original due date was 10th and they changed it after scan so im a bit worried the 10th is actually right. Every day over 40 weeks is a fresh hell imho!

2furbabies · 02/09/2017 10:29

Hi everyone ! Thanks for joining me :)

My OH says I look and act like an other sometimes haha that's his South African humour for you!

I'm due 15th of October feels like a life time away!

So glad to hear when baby drops you can eat slightly better I'm hoping that happens soon!! I feel awful like I'm starving myself and the baby but I guess we can't really help it Confused

I have also been sick most days since about 8 weeks soooooooo not going to miss that! Couldn't tell you how many burgs blood vessels I've had around my eyes in the last 8 months!

How exciting that we are all
Due so soon though !! Wooooo

P.s

I know it sounds terrible but I haven't been able to remember to do pelvic floor exercises (idiot!) and am already (sorry tmi!!) pissing myself when I cough or sneeze really hard BlushConfused

Must remember to do them but so much going on! First timer here and am
Fully in nesting mode

2furbabies

I'm glad I'm not alone. I could have written every word of your PS.
I just forget that they need to be done - until I have a laughing or coughing fit Blush

10storeylovesong · 02/09/2017 11:15

Yep, I've told DH not to make sudden jokes as I'm liable to wet myself if I'm not prepared for laughing

Babyblues14 · 02/09/2017 11:45

Another one guilty of not doing the exercises here. 38 weeks today and practically no symptoms so every twinge makes me think I'm going into labour. So sick of waiting Sad house needs cleaning but I have no motivation

10storeylovesong · 02/09/2017 13:17

I'm with you babyblues - I have the nesting instinct but no energy whatsoever. I've just left DS at MIL to try and get some ironing done as need to iron all labels into school uniform, and I'm just sat looking at the pile!

SayNoToCarrots · 02/09/2017 13:21

I never got round to them with my first and haven't again this time. Seems a bit counterintuitive to me - I don't want a tight fanny, I want everything nice and loose so baby slips out easy!

I did them after and I'm no more prone to wetting myself than before.

TheLionQueen1 · 02/09/2017 13:37

Can I join?! I'm due October 10th too and so over this pregnancy thing!! His movements now are really painful and he wriggles constantly, I hope he makes an early appearance!!

Pat on the back for me for doing my clenching and using perinium oil daily (bet it makes sod all difference!!)

asilikeit · 02/09/2017 13:55

Also due 15th October with my second and I am soooo done!!!! I feel like a massive ball of hormones waiting to explode! I didn't feel anywhere like this with my first so I'm totally floored by it. I never got any braxton hicks at all the first time around but this time I'm having them every day , I just feel so ready to get this baby out!

AmyB1986 · 02/09/2017 14:27

Can I join please? Due 19th oct, csection the week before however and really fed up now!
Waddling more by the day!

MrsCharlieD · 02/09/2017 14:52

Hi, there's an October 2017 group on the antenatal group boards. A lot of us have migrated from there over to Facebook as its much easier to follow. Come say Hi!

TheLionQueen1 · 02/09/2017 15:11

What's the fb group MrsCharlieD?

MrsCharlieD · 02/09/2017 20:53

It's a secret group, you'll need to be added. I can do it if you pm me your email address

2furbabies · 03/09/2017 14:22

I'd rather not join a Facebook group tbh I like that this is anonymous :) also those big threads are really hard to keep up on so I'll carry on here :) x

Yip can't wait to get this over and done with now. Hopefully will get to beginning of October without murdering or breakdown 😰

silkybear · 03/09/2017 19:30

Been having constant braxton hicks for about 3 hours now, so uncomfortable and got back ache. Pretty sure its not the start of anything yet but with my dd braxtons were mild and only for a few seconds at a time. Anyone else had this? Im 36 wks tommorow so can't see anything happening yet.
