Anyone else out there sooooo ready for their babies now?!! I literally can barely eat anything and when I can it's the smallest amount

Can't wait to have my baby girl in my arms!
And be able to eat properly again Grin

I'm not going to wish for sleep because let's be honest sleep is still a long way away Hmm

Anyone fancy a moan and count down till we pop!

Started hoovering and then ended up going nuts and cleaning out two cupboards. Once i started I couldnt stop! Totally fucked now so chilling with peppa pig and got a craving for those cheap onion ring crisps. Not walking to shop now though. Might send dh out later. Babies can come at anytime, you never know! Grin

how is everyone getting on? Smile

10storeylovesong · 12/09/2017 11:30

Still here! Nothing appears to be happening here. Lots of walking and cleaning on hands and knees done, and everyone has commented on how much my bump has dropped over last day or two, but no contractions or any other signs.

You?

silkybear · 12/09/2017 13:37

nothing happening here. i was hoping after the quite intense braxtons the other day that things might happen early this time but am losing hope as its all calmed down. really dont want to go overdue again!

silkybear · 12/09/2017 13:38

bump dropping sounds hopeful!

kittycymraeg · 13/09/2017 07:04

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm due 21st October. I'm 34 weeks with anemia and I'm struggling with work. I have another four weeks to go! How do you get through this stage when you feel so crap?

LubyLoo222 · 13/09/2017 07:29

Due 4th. 37 weeks today and been awake since 3.30am, bump really low, got cramps, feel sick and just generally off if you know what i mean. Ive been having random half hours of contractions since sunday tea time, not BH as painful but never turns into anything. Got a sweep a week on fri and hoping i dont make it there cant stand much more of this!. Off for a 3 mile walk this morning 🙈 why i agreed to that ive no idea!! Hows everyone else doing?

silkybear · 13/09/2017 22:03

Got terrible restless legs tonight, really fucking me off. Lots of braxtons again but don't think anything is happening. Due on the 2nd so probably got ages to go yet. Luby that sounds quite promising, I'm sure the walking will help get things started sooner.

Lwarnock · 13/09/2017 23:13

I am totally feeling this. 38 weeks tomorrow and so ready to have baby! He has not dropped at all and my bump is so tight, every movement feels like his limb is going to pop out. I am also super emotional and angry in the evenings/over night (when I am at my most uncomfortable)
Feels good to get it out and moan to people who won't just say 'only two weeks' or 'not long' !!

10storeylovesong · 14/09/2017 18:24

So far today I've had the following comments:

Park ranger - that bump is definitely twins (it's not - numerous scans show just one in there although a good size). Don't go into labour on park, I'll just faint.

Cashier in Wilkos - when are you due? Two weeks, never! I've got a sixth sense of these things, you'll go in the next couple of days.

Bloke in Tesco - ooh love, should you be out shopping on your own in that condition?!

silkybear · 14/09/2017 19:38

urgh yeah when i went overdue last time i had family ringing and texting daily asking 'is it here yet?' as if I had the baby early and forgot to mention it. Drove me insane. I'm not doing it this time, i will actually tell people to fuck off if that starts up again Grin

confusedat23 · 14/09/2017 19:55

34 weeks here now and enjoying my first part time week!

Whoever said BH can't be painful lies btw... i have had painful ones since last Friday when i ended up in triage with False Labour.

Baby is moving loads which triggers more painful cramps but just trying to battle on through!

silkybear · 16/09/2017 11:36

yep my brax hicks have been like period pain so not fun! Saw midwife yesterday and baby is 2/5ths engaged so hopefully not long to go Confused

confusedat23 · 16/09/2017 11:38

You don't have long though! Only 2 weeks until you are due.

At my 34 week appointment baby was 1/5 engaged so hoping the pain is just pushing him in the right direction!

silkybear · 16/09/2017 15:20

hope so! this end bit sucks so much xx

silkybear · 16/09/2017 15:29

sorry dunno what the kisses are about I've come over all Netmums Wink

EEandEmakes3 · 16/09/2017 15:47

Hi I'm 33 weeks pregnant today. I don't know if I need to have the flu jab or not? I kind of thought as I was due during the time they start to do them that there wasn't any point in having it, now I'm unsure Confused

silkybear · 16/09/2017 19:35

Ive just had a text about the flu jab, i think all preg women on their database get offered it. At 33 weeks its probably a bit late? I would ask your gp for its effectiveness at this stage. i know my midwife at around 20 wks recommended whooping but said i wouldnt need flu (37 weeks now) so you might be the same? As far as I know the dangers of flu in pregnancy are when baby is developing but as it is fully formed now just getting bigger it may not carry the same risks.

EEandEmakes3 · 16/09/2017 19:41

Thanks Silkybear I'll speak to my midwife.

TheLionQueen1 · 25/09/2017 22:31

Any babies yet!? Super fed up now, waddling everywhere and done all I needed to in my mat leave.

Bring on October 10th!!

10storeylovesong · 26/09/2017 07:29

No sign of baby yet. 39+2 here and off to MW this morning to beg for a sweep.

mummabubs · 26/09/2017 07:47

Nothing here either at 38+3. I'm off to aquanatal in an hour which hopefully might do something as I've heard from the midwife who runs it that she's known several ladies to go into labour not long after the session... they are quite intense!! 😂 So impatient now and every time someone 'helpfully' jokes or informs me that it could well be another month if I go overdue just makes me want to cry hysterically and respond with (mild) violence at the same time!!

silkybear · 26/09/2017 08:42

nope. and the 'is it here yet' phone calls have started Angry

TheLionQueen1 · 26/09/2017 10:13

Yes @silkybear !! Also the texts asking if I am able to leave the house and do something, I'm only bloody pregnant not completely incapable!!

@mummabubs fab idea! I have been swimming but maybe I need to do aquanatal! I did 4 hours of gardening at the weekend (which I hate!!) and was hoping it would shift him but no luck!

@10storeylovesong will they give sweeps before due date? Fingers crossed for you!

10storeylovesong · 26/09/2017 11:11

They said they would but after over 2 hours of waiting they've sent me home as midwife hasn't arrived and they don't know where she is
