Anyone else out there sooooo ready for their babies now?!! I literally can barely eat anything and when I can it's the smallest amount

Can't wait to have my baby girl in my arms!
And be able to eat properly again Grin

I'm not going to wish for sleep because let's be honest sleep is still a long way away Hmm

Anyone fancy a moan and count down till we pop!

I've had the jabba the hut comments regularly also!! I also miss having ankles as my legs now seem to merge into my feet 😂

10storeylovesong · 03/09/2017 20:48

silkybear I ended up in hospital last weekend as had Braxton Hicks every 3 minutes for over 10 hours. They monitored me and could see them regular on the monitor but my cervix was still closed, so they kept me in until they stopped. They said it was normal and the only reason they even monitored me was because I'd had previous preterm labour.

Thanks 10storey thats reassuring. Seems to have calmed down now so just the spd, carpal tunnel, restless legs and insomnia to deal with now. It feels like the magic of pregnancy never ends...

2furbabies · 05/09/2017 00:54

@silkybear ohhh has anything else happen !! Sounds like it could be the start of something xx

I'm an emotional wreck. My DS (4) starts school today, and the thought of my tiny 2lb 3oz baby amongst all the bigger kids at school is killing me. He's still so tiny, even his uniform is age 2-3. I've been awake all night, swinging between worrying about him and praying this constant Braxton Hicks don't progress into anything else until I've gotten him settled in. I'm going to be a blubbering mess at the school gates in a couple of hours!

TheLionQueen1 · 05/09/2017 07:04

10storey; hope it goes ok and your DS has a brilliant day!

TheLionQueen1 · 05/09/2017 07:05

2fur, I'm on the count down to mat leave on Friday, struggling with work now! I've also become a hormonal rage again, I made DH sleep in spare room last night because he accidentally punched me and I went crazy Confused!!!

TheLionQueen1 · 05/09/2017 07:07

*pinched!!!! He definitely didn't punch me!!!

silkybear · 05/09/2017 09:35

2fur, nah all calmed down now although had horrendous groin pain last night when i got up from the sofa, so think it might be the head engaging maybe but could be spd. All normal this morning. DD didn't come til 42 weeks so anything earlier than that is a bonus really. Hope school gates drop off wasn't too stressful 10storey! Flowers

10storeylovesong · 05/09/2017 13:03

School done and dusted for first day. All went without tears and was quite uneventful really. Baby can come any time now that's done with!

Saw the midwife this morning who said that baby's head is fixed but not yet engaged. Does that mean I'm ages off yet?!

Me too!! EDD 11 Oct but c section scheduled the week before. Like others have said it feels a bit early to be willing the baby to arrive but the anticipation is just getting too much!! Plus the reflux, insomnia, hormonal crying outbursts (poor DH) and not being able to do up my shoes...

LadyoftheLake123 · 05/09/2017 15:52

Can't wait for mat leave to start - just another 2.5 weeks...

silkybear · 05/09/2017 21:29

10storey, my midwife said in second pregnancies the head can sometimes not engage until even the start of labour so you never know Smile

silkybear · 05/09/2017 21:36

Hats off to everyone still working at this stage, turning over in bed feels like a days work to me at the moment. Took early leave so will take a bit of a hit financially but couldn't cope any longer with the SPD. Although now i'm back in charge of a toddler it sometimes feels like I made the wrong choice! Hope everyone is feeling ok today. I seem to be extremely hungry all of a sudden, it's like the first trimester all over again Confused

2furbabies · 05/09/2017 23:59

@10storeylovesong
Oh bless you I'm an emotional wreck at the moment without the added emotions of school I do dread the day to be honest! Oooo exciting though! Although it wouldn't be great at least you wouldn't be pregnant anymore woo! Grin

Yay for all the ladies going on maternity leave soon!
I sort of miss working but couldn't actually hack it when at work Hmm
Had to leave at 7 months as job too intense

Soooo looking forward to baby dropping and freeing up the stomach more! Praying that works for me can't go on like this ! There won't be anything left by the end ! And it's not good too loose that much strength and muscle in one go.

Has anyone had a bounty photo done after birth ? Was it worth it etc ? Xx

Turning over does now feel like the earth rotating round the sun haha

Not too much longer now though ladies!!!!!

2furbabies turning over feels like the earth rotating the sun - this!! I am really starting to struggle with turning, moving....everything! Two weeks til I finish up for maternity leave, currently 35+3! Bump feels HUGE and baby is pushed right up at the front, just feel so uncomfortable!

10storeylovesong · 07/09/2017 09:36

Right, DS now on full days at school. Operation house clean, batch cook and walk this baby down into my pelvis started!

silkybear · 07/09/2017 10:51

You sound so motivated! I need to clean the house but really can't be arsed. Toddler dd refusing to nap this morning which means i cant either Angry

10storeylovesong · 07/09/2017 12:30

I may sound motivated but have no energy! School run and 45 mins walking round park with dog = passing out during eyebrow apt and feeling mortified. Managed to batch bake some flapjacks and banana bread, and scrub kitchen and now I'm absolutely done in. Wondering where I'm going to get the energy to walk for DS at 1.30. I have a pile of ironing staring at me and no way I can even start it.

confusedat23 · 07/09/2017 12:59

Getting to the point where i'm regretting working until 38 weeks!... and i'm only 33 weeks tomorrow... but i keep telling myself that because baby is estimated over 5lb already that i'm ok feeling the way i do because thats almost term weight for average people...

Babys can be born from 37weeks though right! 🤞🏻

JustSaying99 · 07/09/2017 13:48

confused I had planned to work to 39 weeks but had to bring that forward. Spoke to my work and now finishing up at 37 weeks which seems more manageable! Feel physically and mentally done Grin
