2 lines on first response but negative digital

Yesterday at what I believe was 9dpo I took a first response that came out positive. The test line isn't as dark as the control line but you don't need to squint to see it. It's very clear. I took a digital this morning at 10dpo and it came out negative. The digital test is just a supermarket home brand test. It's beginning to make me question the line I got. Is it even a positive or just an evap line. I took a picture of it and it looks faint. I went to work and when I came back it looks darker. Could it be that I'm just to early? I want to know as soon as possible as my job requires heavy lifting and I don't want to harm anything. What do you think?

Try different brands they sometimes say wait upto a week and test so ny advise try different brand like first response first morning urine then wait and retest if still getting positive go doctors.

Im 5 days late and I took first pregnancy test 3 days ago and that one comes positive, and I did in every day until today (1 august) and they comes out positive, buuuut, I did this morning an digital one and comes out negative..and that’s it’s kinda disappointing because we want a kid so much..
It also happens to me one time more, exactly the same situation but I wasn’t pregnant, and I also then (like 3 months ago) I didn’t know that I have polycystic ovary and I taked this 3 months medications for this problem..
What should I do now..?

how nice to hear from you. Thanks for checking in! Yes I’m ok thank-you. I think I had another chemical last month but I don’t know for sure because after the 2 early losses early this year I stopped testing until after AF due. Couldn’t hack the pain anymore. I’ve just had a period 4 days prior to expected AF which has NEVER happened to me before so I think it’s either (I) it’s a delay to the chemical or (ii) my cycles are starting to really go haywire due to perimenopause. I’ll be 41 yo in Feb and I’m starting to come to the realisation that maybe 2 was my lot and I’m not meant to have another one.

I’ve tried everything short of fertility treatment because I refuse to take financial support away from my existing beautiful kids (aged 7 and 9) to pursue the idea of another child.

it meant a lot to get your support at a v difficult tiem

Yes he's five months old tomorrow and he's such a big boy, he's already filling out 6-9 clothes lol

thank you for thinking of me and sending me baby dust. I really am trying to do everything right. If, after all of that, it still doesn’t happen, I have to be grateful for my lot and be especially thankful that I didn’t have to go through this pain with those too - I really don’t think I would’ve coped and I really do have the utmost respect, love and admiration for all the mamas out there who deserve to become mamas and haven’t yet been given that opportunity. The last year or so has been an extremely humbling experience and I’ve learnt a lot, not only about myself but about women on the whole and the strength that we possess.

ahh you’ve got a wee big man by the sounds of it. My (7yo) son was a big lump of an infant then toddler, then he discovered sports and he never looked back. Now we can feed him what we like but he’ll still stay slim because he burns everything off straight away. It’s baffling. I wonder if your little guy is crawling yet. Watch out!

Hi!

I came off the pill last month and was feeling a little different so took a test. Didn’t see anything after 5 mins but I looked again a couple hours later and saw a faint line. (See pic attached with marble background)
didn’t think much of it until I showed a friend and so did another one. Again, didn’t see anything after a min but about 30 mins later saw a fairly dark blue line. (See pic attached with bed sheet background).
did both tests on my first wee of the day and a few days apart.

did a digital one a couple hours after my second analogue test and it said not pregnant. Could this be an evap line? Most people say an evap line should have no colour but then people also say to disregard the line after 5 mins. But then again.. people on these forums have had a positive line a couple hours after testing and have been pregnant!

I’m 6 days late for my period, day 35 of cycle by tomorrow morning. I got a strong positive on Saturday evening then a lighter positive on Sunday morning so immediately feared the worst. We’re 3 days later, symptoms are fairly strong and no sign of aunt flow. I can’t really talk to anyone apart from a close friend and my OH. Trying not to be anxious. The other 2 chemicals were over by 30 and 31 days so I’m trying to have some hope. I haven’t taken any more tests. I’m too scared and work is crazy busy so I’d rather not drive myself mental during the working week.

I feel like this is your time♥️ like we have spoke about when I got that positive test after my chemical I stopped testing untill I did a clear blue weeks, once that came back I stopped and just carried on with mum and work life, as you no my tests did the same at the start, went light and then I got the 2+ weeks, sending you lots of love, keep me updated, but congratulations and im so happy for you xx

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone can help and give me a second opinion I have taken a digital test which came back negative, however I have taken quite a few strip tests and they are showing slight faint lines to show positive, I will pop some photos below, can some one please advise me if I am or am not most likely

@meganhannah i watched someone prize open a digital test as it came up negative and all strip tests came up positive. Inside the digital test was a positive strip test but because it was still quite faint, the digital test couldn’t pick it up.

just checking in. 8 days late. Very mild symptoms. Keep checking my breasts to make sure they’re still sore :( When I’m working (I manage a London-wide DV project for a charity), I’m so distracted and can go an hour or more without thinking about it. Anxiety still present. Sleep is bad. I was gonna go home tonight and do a test but hubby told me not to. I’ve got bloods on Monday then doctor a week later. I don’t know - I just needed to reach out! Xx

Honestly don't overthink it to much, my symptoms went to then came back, i though oh nice easy pregnancy, how wrong was i🤣
Are you not sleeping because of overthinking? Or could it be a symptom? Because that was my main one with my little boy, I got more sleep once he was here then
I did while I was pregnant lol. I really wouldn't do that test, you have had a positive and are also late, if I remember correctly your always on time? So that's also a step in the right direction, I'm here anytime xx

Thank you my dear. I think I’m sleepless because of anxiety but obviously I’m also getting up loads to wee in the night which means I’m constantly trying to get back to sleep. Thanks for sharing your experience - I suppose the hormones can keep us aware? Not overthink it? 😂 I wish!! My brain just does it’s own thing!
yup I’m always like clockwork 29 day cycle but weirdly my September period came earlier than usual and that was a 24 day cycle. I found that super weird.
Every day feels like a month - forget slow, I feel like time is going backwards!!!

waited until the weekend, took a clearblue weeks digital today - attaching the photo. Worried about not having nausea/craving symptoms - last 2 pregnancies I was ravenous and craving crap. Last few days - I only want spicy Korean chicken 😂 and crackers but not much else - don’t fancy bread, still having my morning coffee, it’s weird.

I never did with my first, and was so sick with my second I assumed he was a girl, but no got two boys. The only thing I learned was I can't just go of symtoms, both my pregnancy's were so different. I wouldn't jinx yourself just yet there's still time for the sickness lol, can imagine your on cloud nine right now xx

cloud 9 might be pushing it but yes some relief for sure.
yeah now I think about it, I was sick and craving pickles/desserts/salt beef with my daughter (put on way too much weight), but less so with my son. Is so long ago that I’ve forgotten!
my symptoms:

• metallic taste in mouth (more at night)
• spicy chicken cravings haha
• headaches
• frequent urination
• sore breasts (but more sore to the touch than constantly sore)
• aversion to carbs
• sensitive to some smells esp petrol (yuk!)
• fatigue
• sleeplessness (could be attributed to anxiety though)
• head to toe chills even when I’ve got 3 blankets over me (this is a weird one)

I think that covers it lol. Now I want blood tests and a heartbeat scan. 1 thing though - I might actually be able to sleep tonight.

@CKBM I'm with you on that one, my first was five years ago and all I remember was not being able to eat burgers, that was all.

But my symptoms with my second are pretty much exactly the same as yours, apart from the aversion to carbs, mine was meat! I could go near anyone cooking meat or eating it😩 also had headaches and very sleepless nights. Also restless leg syndrome and pregnancy rhinitis. I also got the chills in the first trimester. But into the second I couldn't be cold enough! It was winter and I was walking around with no coat or jumper on I was always boiling hot!

I was the " I want one of each " but I'm so blessed with my boys 😍♥️

yeah I am quite averse to meat right now - the thought of burgers or anything other than spicy chicken is nauseating. When I saw you’d put ‘burgers’ in your msg I immediately felt nauseous lol. I’m loving east-Asian spicy chicken though 🤤
ah yeah I’ve got RLS anyway and have my legs up on 2 huge leg raising pillow wedge thingies. Magnesium cream works great for RLS.
the chills are super weird. I don’t remember ever having those, apart from with a virus once.
ps I might regret saying this but I welcome the sickness because it would make me feel more pregnant!!
