I honestly can't remember a night where I was asleep before 11pm. Restless legs, heartburn, insomnia, terrible nightmares, sweating, dribbling, being sick in the night.
Oh god, it's so HARD. The days are fine but the nights are absolute hell on earth. Can't believe I have another 3 more weeks of this Sad anyone else in the same boat?

Ah poppy, I hope it's your time soon!
I know of a few women due before me, and I'm secretly hoping my bundle of joy arrives before theirs Grin.
Completely agree with the pelvic pressure, every night I'm in bed I feel like my waters are going to break as he's putting so much pressure down there. I see my midwife tomorrow, so hoping for some positive news!

sophiejayne96 · 29/08/2017 10:13

See I had crazy amounts of pelvic pressure when he first became engaged but it doesn't hurt anymore like it did then, I guess your body just adjusts to their head being down there. I used to be in pain like crying my eyes out at night because it was always worse when lead down.. (baby is back to back). Now my back just aches and my due date is this Friday so I'm hoping something happens in the next few days 🤞

mummabubs · 29/08/2017 15:16

Same and I'm only 34 weeks! 😩 I finally stopped being sick at week 32 (started at 8 weeks) but in place of the upchuck every morning I now get acid reflux and spend every night feeling so uncomfortable in every single position I try, plus dribbling and nausea and rib pain.... and I've potentially got another 8 weeks of this as my mum went 2 weeks over with all three of her children!!

Urglewurgle · 29/08/2017 15:41

What is with the drooling?!?!!

fluffywallow · 31/08/2017 10:27

How's everyone doing? I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and having a cs at 39+4 - not long to go FINALLY!

Getting painful braxton hicks every so often and period pains. No idea if it means anything but I wouldn't be at all surprised if I go into labour before Tuesday.

sophiejayne96 · 31/08/2017 10:47

Well tomorrow is my little ones due date, my tummy seems to be tightening a lot today but nothing major happening so I'm not getting my hopes up lol. Sweep is booked for Tuesday so I'm holding out for that to work if nothing before hand.

justkeepswimmingg · 31/08/2017 10:59

Fluffy I'm 39 weeks tomorrow too! Good luck with the CS! And sophie good luck with your sweep!

I'm planning on going for a very long walk today with DH and DS, in hope of getting things moving along. My consultant isn't happy with me going over my due date (thankfully), so next Friday il be seeing him to talk about having my waters broken. Im so ready to meet my little boy now!
Anyone having any twinges? Tuesday night I had some very painful BH, that lasted for 3 hours, but nothing since then.

PoppyH56 · 31/08/2017 12:57

@sophiejayne96 I have a sweep next Tuesday also!! Good luck!

@fluffywallow 5 days maximum to go, how exciting

@justkeepswimmingg I'm 39 weeks today. No twinges as of yet annoyingly, but all of last night baby was pushing their head down so hard on my cervix I'm not surprised that they didnt just force their way out. I move into my new flat on Saturday though so I'm hoping baby will stay out until next week so I can get settled.

We also made it pretty much to September girls! Only 11 hours to go which I'm pleased about as I didn't want my baby to have an August birthday! X

justkeepswimmingg · 31/08/2017 16:58

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that didn't want an August baby poppy Grin lol.
I also get those big pushes down in my pelvic too, of a night, where I'm convinced my waters will break. Hopefully not long to go now, 1st September sounds good to me!

fluffywallow · 31/08/2017 17:34

Haha yeah my dh is convinced I've been subconsciously holding on to get a September baby Grin

PoppyH56 · 04/09/2017 22:37

Anyone had their babies yet? I'm still very pregnant!!!

sophiejayne96 · 05/09/2017 08:08

Having my sweep today! Fingers crossed something happens tonight! xxx

sthitch · 05/09/2017 08:22

Glad it's not just me, I'm almost 41 weeks... restless legs, rib kicking, needing to wee at night even though I stop drinking really early to try and sleep!! Hard to change positions in bed, and to top it off- super sharp lightning pains down there... and spasming down my already restless legs! I just had to get up and walk around the nursery and have a it's all worth it moment! I so can't wait to have this baby, although if I call out at the lightning pains (they are so painful, I can't decide if it's a burn or electric shock pain!) god knows how I'll cope in labour!

justkeepswimmingg · 05/09/2017 09:04

Still no baby here!
Was really hoping Sunday night was the night, I wake up gutted every morning that I didn't go into labour over night Blush. I'm so uncomfortable, and I'm having BH every evening. I do see the midwife on Wednesday, and I'm going to plead for a sweep. I see my consultant on Friday, and that's when the plans will be made if he's still not appeared! Fingers crossed for you sophie, I hope you go into labour very shortly after Grin. I hope this is our week ladies!

dippypanda · 05/09/2017 09:09

Fingers crossed for you @sophiejayne96

@sthitch I'm feeling exactly as you are and it sucks. Don't get me wrong I love being pregnant but I am at the point now where I want to be able to move around without pain or a struggle!

PoppyH56 · 05/09/2017 09:55

@sophiejayne96 same here with the sweep! Mines at 3pm, I'm absolutely shitting it to be completely honest. I'm so ready for this baby but I'm also so not. I think it's just nerves kicking in!!

I'm the same @justkeepswimmingg every night before I go to sleep I think oh I hope I wake up to contractions! Today would have been a perfect time for baby to come as I have freshly washed hair and I had a solid 8 hours sleep last night for the first time in a long time so I'm feeling refreshed and ready to take on labour for the first time ever! My luck it'll be tomorrow now when Ive only had 3 hours sleep and look like shit lol x

OP posts:
sophiejayne96 · 05/09/2017 11:43

Don't be worried about your sweep, I've just had mine and in all honestly it was absolutely nothing lol. I don't know why people say it hurts! I guess it's probably different for everyone xxx

justkeepswimmingg · 05/09/2017 12:37

That's great sophie, did they say if you were dilated at all? I think they say it hurts if your cervix is still 'high' and 'hard'? Sounds promising if it didn't hurt, I hope it works for you!
You'll be fine poppy. One step closer to meeting your little one!
I said the same about having washed hair on Sunday too lol. I'm hoping it'll happen when I'm all fresh and ready to go, but no doubt it'll be the day that childcare (for my toddler) falls through and I'm a hot mess!

sophiejayne96 · 05/09/2017 12:57

She actually said I'm not effaced and like 1/2 cm dilated... She managed to get 1 finger in my cervix and it was quite far back to she was vigorous and brought it further forward in the hope of setting something off. Fingers crossed now I guess. xxx

PoppyH56 · 05/09/2017 13:01

@sophiejayne96 was yours done by your MW? X

OP posts:
sophiejayne96 · 05/09/2017 13:03

Yeah xx

babysurprise14 · 05/09/2017 17:35

@sophiejayne96 good luck hope it sets something off, 39+1 here and sweep booked just after due date.

I'm with you ladies though as have restless legs, so uncomfortable and don't seem to be able to sleep more than 3 hours without needing a wee 😬 hopefully not much longer-we can do this!!!

sophiejayne96 · 05/09/2017 21:27

So not had many pains however tonight started losing my mucus plug and still am doing so I'm crossing my fingers for something to happen tonight 🤞 xxx

babysurprise14 · 05/09/2017 23:08

@sophiejayne96 oooh sounds positive, good luck! Not at all jealous!

PoppyH56 · 05/09/2017 23:16

I'm having lower back pain and tightening of the tummy but no show nor break of waters yet so it's more than likely just BH. Will see how the night progresses!
