I'm in law. Bar far the least physically demanding of the lot on here.
Wow- you guys are all amazing.
@SS81C really impressed you are able to keep it together (esp on night shift with a toddler in the daytime). Midwives work like absolute Trojans. Glad you were able to decipher my confused and exhausted ramblings. I'm still spotting but feel better after a night's sleep and wfh today (and the sun's out which gives a boost).
@Lauralou031986 don't do down your job. I worked in the village pub in uni hols and it was utterly exhausting. My feet after a shift. Ouch!
@Sussexgal sounds tiring, but your kid will think you have the coolest job in the world (I love law, but no child is ever going to call it cool).
@CL1982 yours also sounds really busy. It's hard having days where the game face has to be bright and polished for the whole time isn't it. Sorry for tagging you instead of @SS81C - maybe it means you need a new cheery and life affirming handbag too?
@mummyGof2boys -You are one impressive person (I'm picturing you running your charges up and down mountains). No wonder you've already got your nursery kit sorted.
Hope you all have lovely weekends. It's our Olivia's birthday/anniversary on Sunday so we are going to have a quiet time here and the go up to see her name in the hospital book of children who have died which they keep in the chapel. If I disappear for a bit from the thread, don't worry I'll come back. DH and I might disconnect everything for a day or so. It won't mean I'm getting into more dramas (please no more dramas).
I feel I'm not a very good advert for pregnancy. I hope I'm not making anyone more nervous than you'd otherwise be. The chance of someone having my particular combination of risk factors is really really unlikely.
