Hi,

I just found out I'm pregnant with our first DC at lunchtime today.

Obviously very early days and anything could happen but thought it would be nice to have a little group who are due around the same month to share experiences and hand hold if needed.

Anyone around who is due in March?

Good luck with the scans ladies. Mine isn't for another week. I really wish it was this week as I'm going mad waiting. Nausea has subsided but still getting up through the night to go to the toilet and feel exhausted a lot so trying to stay positive

FuzzyOwl · 04/09/2017 08:30

Hope everyone's scans go well this week.

KittyKat73 · 04/09/2017 10:44

Hey ladies!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I went out for a hen party completely sober haha. To be honest didnt miss any alcohol was good sitting back and watching everyone else staggering about. Unfortunately still felt hungover when i woke up the morning after! bit unfair thanks morning nausea.

Bought myself a dreamgenii pillow too! bit early but thought might as well get my moneys worth lol. Plus makes me feel a bit more secure that wont roll over too much onto my stomach. I have a " 2nd trimester" appointment a week today so not too sure what that will involve i think it will be urine and bloods.

Since we got our scan on Thursday we told all our friends and family the good news! they were totally blown away haha. one or two said they had wee suspicions but nothing concrete.

Goodluck on the scans this week ladies! how is everyone getting on?

LoveRainbow02 · 04/09/2017 19:53

Aww look at the little bean. I am so excited for Wednesday.

Bumpkin21 · 05/09/2017 08:54

Aw so happy for all your little scans! I'm still only 10+5, but had an early scan yesterday as I had some bleeding. All was fine and I saw it's little arms and legs!

Also, if anyone is a similar stage to me, they said bleeding around this time is really normal as the placenta burrows into the womb wall, so don't panic!
Also - exciting that our babies will have a royal birthday twin! Smile

LoveRainbow02 · 05/09/2017 09:10

Aw lovely pic @Bumpkin21. It's so reassuring having a scan and knowing all is well.

I announced my pregnancy yesterday morning then the royal baby stole my thunder 😂😂.

KittyKat73 · 05/09/2017 11:43

Aww brilliant scan photos ladies!

im already counting down the days until the next one haha.

I know we had just told all our family and friends and then the royals announced their baby too!

SunyBay · 06/09/2017 16:59

So, scan went well. Baby is fine. Curled up and doing twists. Lovely little heartbeat. The sonographer had trouble taking a measurement because it was curled up so much, but what she did take tied in my EDD (I know exactly when my last period was, so I figured it'd be close). They've moved my due date one day to the 22nd March.

Couldn't get an NT measurement either, because the baby was cosied up to the uterus, so I've got have the blood test done at 15 weeks (just when I'm meeting up with midwife anyway).

Happy to know it's not all in my imagination! And glad we can tell people now!

Can't post a photo for some reason. But it looks a lot like everyone else's. Wink Head to the right, though.

MrsL2016 · 06/09/2017 17:03

Here's mine. It was such a surreal, wonderful experience and I can't wait for the next time I get to see my little one on the screen again. Only 2 months to go.

Oh, that's a lovely picture.

Yes, it was weird to see it turning over and wriggling but not being able to feel anything. Grin Cool, but odd. :)

MrsL2016 · 06/09/2017 18:02

It was so clear! And the moving around without feeling it was the strangest thing. Feels much more real now.

Bumpkin21 · 06/09/2017 18:14

Wow @MrsL2016 that's so clear! How many weeks and days are you?

MrsL2016 · 06/09/2017 18:31

They dated me 12+4, which is only 1 day less than lmp.

Bellyfish · 06/09/2017 18:43

@FuzzyOwl could you please pm me as I don't seem able to pm you ? Thanks

MrsW0812 · 06/09/2017 18:58

Hi ladies - I've been absent for a while but had my scan today.

I took the instructions very literally to drink a whole litre of water and was absolutely in agony by the time my scan was due. I couldn't even lie on the bench and thought they were going to refuse me but instead they said gongo have a wee and let a bit out. But still bladder quite full and was squishing bump so had to go to wee again. Finally able to see it.

Was very surreal seeing it on screen and moving around when I can't feel it - I still feel very detached from it at moment - does anyone else feel like that?

Measuring exactly as I though 12 +2 so due date 19th march still.

@Bellyfish have done but not sure you'll receive it or be able to reply if you are having problems with your messages.

YorkieDorkie · 06/09/2017 20:38

What amazing scans ladies!

SunyBay · 06/09/2017 21:36

@MrsW0812 "Was very surreal seeing it on screen and moving around when I can't feel it - I still feel very detached from it at moment - does anyone else feel like that?"

Yes, absolutely. I told my brother today and he was absolutely delighted (and then proceeded to go big brother on me, telling me to get my flu jab and whooping cough jab. He's in charge of antenatal and postnatal screening in his area, so knows what he's talking about. Grin ) Actually starting to tell people has made it more real. But seeing it on the screen was weird. Cool, but weird, as it didn't feel like it was inside me since I couldn't feel it turning around and wiggling.

KittyKat73 · 07/09/2017 11:34

Loving the scan pictures ladies!

MrsW I know what you mean. Before I got my scan I was soo worried that something might have gone wrong that when I finally saw the baby up on the screen it was soo surreal! then telling people after keeping it a secret for so long felt really weird like I wasnt suppose to tell them yet.

I cant wait to start having a proper bump and feel kicks etc

FuzzyOwl · 10/09/2017 22:00

If anyone else wants to join the secret Facebook group, just send me a private message with the email address that you use to log on and I will send you a link.

KittyKat73 · 11/09/2017 10:17

Hey how is everyone getting on?

I have a 2nd trimester appointment today to get bloods because I was scanned too late for the NT ( we all thought I Was 13 weeks turns out I Was 15 weeks for first scan)

Fuzzyowl aww I would join but im a bit funny about facebook these days I had the unfortunate weird experience of a facebook stalker that saved my photos and made a bizzare website collage of them plus alot of other local ladies. My account was already private so must have been someone on my friendslist. Since then I hardly add or do anything on it. my account already was very private and protected when this happened! because of it I havent announced anything on FB about being pregnant and dont know if I ever will.

Zedahmed123 · 11/09/2017 14:42

Hi ladies how are you all doing.

I went for another scan today at 8 weeks. Still they could not see anything . Not even a gestation sac . But my urine test is still positive. I'm going to have another blood work done tomorrow. I'm really confused as to why nothing is showing up on the scan.
Has this happened to anyone else. I really need some advice and comfort.

I have been care since yesterday , confused anxious and worried all at the same time.
