Pregnancies due March 2018

Hi,

I just found out I'm pregnant with our first DC at lunchtime today.

Obviously very early days and anything could happen but thought it would be nice to have a little group who are due around the same month to share experiences and hand hold if needed.

Anyone around who is due in March?

Issy have you managed to get another scan appointment or do you need to wait until tomorrow before you can make one. thats rubbish they cancelled it so close!

Sandigemm hope you feel better soon how did you get on with your appointment? I found the wrist bands helpful and just sipped at water. I lost 12.5 pounds with sickness so totally feel for you!

im 13 weeks now! cant wait for my scan on thursday then we can finally tell everyone! ( although MIL seems to making it her mission to try and slip up and tell everyone before us by openly talking about it infront of people thankfully no one has caught on yet or they are too polite to say anything)(2nd mini rant she is also demanding who we tell in what order and how we tell them aaaahhhh!!!!) and breathe

Back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks off due to nausea and vomitting. Still get nausea in mornings but settles after I have some toast thank god!

random question for those who have had their dating scan/12 week scan. At my booking appointment the midwife gave me a urine bottle and said I would need to give a urine sample to all appointments ... does this include scans? Ill be there will a full bladder anyway but also dont want to turn up with urine incase im not suppose to and look crazy

Nope still can't get hold of them so I'm guessing it will have to wait until tomorrow gutted! But the further along I am the better the scan will be so it's not all bad! Ooh I'd like to know about the urine situation as well!

I hope you all are doing ok.

I have a question. I am almost about 7weeks pregnant. Due to me sporting I have had several scans but they can not see anything on the scans. My hcg levels and my urine test suggest that I am pregnant.
I am really freaking out as to why they can't see anything.
Can anyone please advice. I have no symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy either.

I thought the exact same thing when I went. During the scan the lady actually made me empty my bladder as she thought it might go too full (turns out I've got a tilted womb). I went up to see the midwife after and she did ask for a urine sample. I told her I didn't have my cup and she gave me another one, luckily I was able to go again! I would just ask for a cup when you're there. Good Luck! xxx

This is my little bean at an estimated 11 weeks. I was an emotional wreck when I saw baby in the screen! I was giggling and crying. I had to apologise to the lady completing the scan as my tummy was going up and down with my emotional leakage so she couldn't baby on her screen! Oops! That's my baby in there!

Just been to A&E as had mucusy type bleeding. Cervix closed and all looks normal (bleeding of course stopped now!) but bloods taken and referred to EPU (which I was told didn't exist on Friday when I asked!!) so hoping that should have a bit of reassurance within 48 hours (im 8+1). I reckon it's the stress from work on Thursday. I used to be a partner in litigation but quit as I found fighting every day to really stress me out and depress me. But Thursday I had to wade in on a case I'm supervising a paralegal on as an issue arose she couldn't handle alone. And I was literally shaking and crying then Friday I had a small amount of bleeding and same today.

Going to speak to my boss tomorrow and say I just can't supervise anymore - quite frankly at this point I don't give a flying fuck if they sack me or I get a black mark against my name - there is nothing more important than this little chickpea.

Just literally praying that everything will be ok.

Zedahmed Sorry I dont have alot of knowledge or advice to offer so im not too sure at how many weeks until you would see anything on the scan. Is there any way you might be less further along than what you think like 5 weeks? do you have another scan booked? hope everything goes ok for you.

Coastal so sorry you had to go through all that stress! but thats good that everything looks normal! your doing the right thing regarding work you need to protect yourself and your baby and not care who might get miffed! they cant discriminate against you for protecting the both of you. Are you able to take time off work and just rest for a few days?

coastalchick I've been bleeding for 11 day but had two scans showing the baby is ok and my cervix is tightly closed. It is really worrying but apparently fairly normal for some women. Fingers crossed you get a reassuring scan this week. Sending lots of positive vibes.

@KittyKat73 and @FuzzyOwl - thanks ladies. I am glad to hear that some of you have had bleeding and everything been ok. It's stopped now but guess I'm panicking also as I no longer have sore boobs or nausea. Though I suppose that this could just be when my symptoms have naturally passed (does say in my every day pregnancy book that coming into week 9, some women's symptoms disappear). It's SO hard - I am SO worried. OH is not being very understanding. I am a worrier generally and he seems to think I am worrying over nothing. That doesn't help!!!!!

Have distracted self by starting a new book and baking a cake (Raspberry and assam tea loaf). Can't win though - when I'm bleeding I'm worried, when it stops I'm thinking - maybe its just stopped developing and this is a MMC!

We had an early scan at 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat so think we would be pretty unlucky if I miscarried but it is massively on my mind.

Don't think I can be off but I do have some easy tasks I can do for the 3 days I'm in this week, as long as I can hoof off this supervisory work (which actually isn't really my job anyway!)

I'm also nine weeks and no symptoms at all. I think the lack of symptoms makes it harder as you don't even have that to cling onto to myself yourself feel psychologically better.

Got to tell boss today that I can't carry on with that case. Bit worried as he literally can't keep anything to himself and I don't want news that I'm pregnant to get outas there are family members and friends we haven't yet told

Have to wait until next Tuesday to have my scan now 😩 I'll be 13 weeks so angry with them! Wish I could afford to go private!

Arghhhh! Nausea stopped again and still very slight bleeding. Boss not in today but told someone else who has agreed to take over the case. Just feel like quitting tbh but think OH would kill me!

Bleeding again. Badly this time. Have a scan at 3. I just know I'm miscarrying. Devastated is not the word

And someone has just walked past me with a pram whilst waiting for OH. Life can be cruel
