Pregnancies due March 2018

Hi,

I just found out I'm pregnant with our first DC at lunchtime today.

Obviously very early days and anything could happen but thought it would be nice to have a little group who are due around the same month to share experiences and hand hold if needed.

Anyone around who is due in March?

Hello all, just joined up today. My due date is 31 March 2018 and I'm 6+4 today... First baby!

No sickness at all yet thankfully! I do have white discharge, very tender boobs and the odd twinge around my lower tummy/pelvis. I've had the odd dizzy spell too and am feeling more lethargic.

I'm finding that these first few weeks are really dragging! I got my BFP at 4+3 and I have a hospital appointment this coming Tuesday to do bloods etc ready for midwife appointment on 1 September. Meanwhile just biding my time, trying to stay calm and reading EVERYTHING I can about pregnancy - boring my poor husband to death! I've told my best friend and mum but otherwise keeping quiet for now.

Okay so bit personal and embarrassing question here now. Should I be worried about having sex whilst pregnant? We have had sex since we found out mostly because I've just been too tired. But this evening I feel a bitter more awake and feel like doing the deed. I know everything says it's safe to have sex when pregnant but I'm still concerned it may cause issues.

I've been told that sex is absolutely fine if you feel like it, assuming you have no issues. If you're spotting or bleeding, then that needs to be checked out right away.

Certain positions are more comfortable than others, and once you've got a bump, then no weight on it. But everything is protected in your belly, so have at it.

Got my appointment for my 12 week scan today 😀😀😀

I'm not allowed to have sex 🙈 until out of the first trimester.. as that is what the mw thinks has been causing the bleeding/spotting I've had... I'm a high risk pregnancy because of the pe with my pregnancy with dd. So will monitored more closely.

I have a pot belly and im quite slim 5ft6 & only 8st2lb.. My mum kindly said i look about 16weeks of 😑😂 I'm sooo bloated!

I have a scan tomorrow after my spotting and cramps at weekend .. dreading it. I just have an awful feeling.

I would but it's the last thing i feel like doing at the moment, permanently shattered! Hoping this feeling doesn't last!

I got mine booked in today.. the day before I go on holiday.. Yay! I was so worried I would have not been able to have one before I go as I'll be 11+6 when i fly out! X

Is everyone having the combined test done??

So that didn't go well!! Sorry for tmi...Just working up to sex. Bit of touchy feely and then my other half noticed I was bleeding a little. We stopped straight away. It was pink bleeding and seems to have stopped now. Should i be concerned? It doesn't hurt and i don't have cramps or anything. But concerned now and didn't even get full on sex!

Don't worry.. it can happen sometimes, have you seen a mw yet? If not speak to your gp just to let them know xx

@blueespottytiger I haven't got my scan appointment yet but I have chosen the combined test. I also have to go back know to my GP's and get my blood tests redone. Apparently the ones they took at my booking appointment last Friday weren't 'fresh' enough to test when they got to the lab. I can't get in till 23rd August though

Hi ladies please can I join you, I am 7w & 3D
Due date is the 25 March. I had a scan last week and i got to see the heart beat! It was amazing! They also found another foetal pole! So I have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan to find out if it will be indenticle twins.
I have had terrible nausea before I even found out I was PG an boobs and back are aching so much!
Also so tired and crazy sense of smell and now the metallic taste in my mouth!
Is there anyone having twins?

@blueespottytiger - good luck with scan. I am v jealous you are 5'6 and only 8s 2 - I'm almost 3st heavier than that and only 5'4!!! I was (until I carried on the eating after stopping the marathon training last year!) around 9.5 st which is about right for me (my boobs weigh at least a stone each I reckon!). Wish I was a lot slimmer. Worried as we are getting married next Sept and shopping for dresses now due to pregnancy though a good 2 stone over where I'd ideally like to be. Hoping that I can drop it after baby due to breastfeeding and being off so hopefully (if the little love lets me) getting out for lots of long walks with the pram (we live by sea so lots of coastal walks) and I read somehere they can take a dress in up to 4 sizes and it still be fine. But trying them on is depressing as feel like a fat lump and know it is own fault for troughing like a pig!!!

@Princezz Welcome! We've been tentatively told twins too! There were two sacks and two yolk sacks so they are dichorionic twins which can be either identical or non-identical (most likely the latter). Think we're gonna go back for another 8-9 week private scan to check they've both grown.

I have been having nausea all the time but last night was sick for the first time. Hubby looked all proud and said it was a pregnancy milestone. I was not so excited!!

Mini pretzel things have saved me from being sick this morning. Sure everyone in the office thinks i'm loosing it having those for breakfast! Especially as i'm normally super healthy. Oh well I've kind of given up caring. I'M SO BORED OF FEELING SICK!!!

@Elspeth24 I'm usually a very healthy eater too, so I'm interested to see what I start craving! Still no sickness yet...

Thank you @Elspeth24, oh bless you! I know exactly how u feel! I was reaching for the bucket this morning but still haven't actually vomited thank goodness! I'm hoping that I can avoids it! Although I have come close 3 times now.
Bless your hubby! Sounds like mine! Lol he brings me a piece of toast for me to eat before I get out of bed an actually it does hell sometimes, haven't thought about pretzels! Think I'll try them!

My scan is Friday next week I will be 8w and 5d
And I really hope we get 2 heart beats this time! It would be such a dream come true! Although I feel greedy! Lol xxx

So exciting with all the possible twins!! :D

God I am 5" 2 and think I currently weigh closer to ten stone that I should - the plan was to get in shape and lose at least a stone before getting pregnant again [I'm quite curvy naturally so too much lost doesn't look great either and as a pear I still look stupidly bottom heavy, joy!] but the universe had other ideas.

I'm still a bit wobbly about not having any proper sickness or nausea - only the occasional bouts of gagging still that pass really quickly but trying to tell myself to make the most of it and that I'm lucky as others are really really suffering. I have no idea why I'm wishing it on myself, I just think I would find it reassuring?

Got my booking in appointment tomorrow and then going to bite the bullet and book a scan next week when I'll be 8 weeks+

@whyhastherumgone yes don't worry about lack of nausea! Lots of ladies don't get any at all.
Everyone is different. That's good u have an early scan, in sure all will go well x

@whyhastherumgone i will swap with you for a couple of days if you like! Although when I just found out I was worried about my lack of nausea too so I totally understand. It was lurking around the corner though! Whatever happens i'm sure we'll worry about it!

@Princezz omg i wish my hubby made me toast in the morning! I still get up before him and make him a cup of tea! My Dad posted me a little pot of Waitrose crystallised ginger yesterday which I thought was the cutest gesture. Men are much better at doing things to show their emotions aren't they, rather than talking!

@Princezz have you started freaking out about twins yet? i'm in love with the idea (never expected it!) but i do think sleep/feeding/routine is going to be especially hard, eeek!

Hey everyone! Had my midwife app. on sunday so exiciting makes everything seem more real but still just waiting for my 1st scan to feel more settled about everything. ill be 13 weeks and 4 days for my first scan! gutted its not closer to 12 so it can happen sooner but thinking maybe the picture will be clearer if its later on. Nausea and vomitting is still going strong. Had to take this week off work as all i did on my nightshifts last week was vomit the entire time! im 10 weeks 4 days now so hoping that once i hit 12 all the nausea and vomitting will magically disappear!

I find that Sports Mix (sweets) are helping with the queasiness - not sure if its because they're hard gums which you can suck or what but they're helping me

costal omg I love them! I haven't tried them yet but I really want sour skittles.

Yay scan went well.. at my last scan 2 weeks ago baby was only 3.6mm and today it was 20.3mm and has little arms and legs. I was dated at 8+5 so now due on the 17th.
It was shy and had it's back to the camera hehe. Cannot explain how relieved i am.

I'm still on the carb train. Desperately trying to tell my brain I need to eat healthy things but it's having none of it at the moment.

@blueespottytiger ahhh amazing scan. So pleased for you, you must be so so relieved. Were you really nervous before you got in there?

I've got another scan on Saturday and I'm so nervous! Really hope things are ok.
