I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

Hooray CL1982! 🎉🎉🎉 that's great!

smeerf · 02/07/2017 11:01

Oh Esmee I'd love a pregnancy buddy
in real life like you have with your sister. A few of my mates got married earlier in the year so maybe one of them might get their BFP? Otherwise I'm the first in our little friend group. Haven't told them yet as I'm really anxious about it, I think I'll only relax a bit when I get to 12 weeks.

SheSaidHeSaid · 02/07/2017 11:17

I don't know how I will keep it quiet from people until the 12 week point. DH and I have been together a while, married for 3 years and we socially drink quite a bit. In fact, it's highlighted how much our lives, especially in the summer, revolve around drinking with friends. Makes us sound like alcoholics but we honestly aren't!

I've got so much planned during the first 12 week wait too, birthday parties, music festivals, hen doos, weddings. I'm convinced that people will guess, no matter how savvy I try to be.

CL1982 · 02/07/2017 11:23

The booze is a sure fire rumbler isn't it!! I have been saying I'm on anti biotics it I'm driving. Ahem.

@smeerf it's totally normal to feel nervous -I think everyone feels the same. It's definitely a nail biting time but the best thing you can do is relax and enjoy it as much as you can :) We're all here to help each other do this! Smile

Shesaid - same. Our social life is very alcohol heavy. Everyone knows we were TTC though so I cover it up with that, just saying that I'm off the booze/fags 'in case' I'm pregnant. But I don't think I'm going to be able to keep it up much longer, I think I'll tell mates after my first scan and then put it on fb at 12 weeks.

@kerrylianne84 Although the MS kicked in proper this afternoon. Ye Gods. How are you doing?

Thanks CL1982 - definitely glad to have a little outlet in MN, taking my mind off feeling sick/hungry all the time Grin

KerryLeanne84 · 02/07/2017 12:47

Ha @CL1982 hope you're not feeling too bad! Heartburn tablets help me 😊 I'm good, feeling pretty normal today though I always tire quickly/ need a lot of sleep. Took a digi too and got 2-3 weeks so 🤞🏼 Things seem to be on track

KerryLeanne84 · 02/07/2017 14:25

Smeerf Could you drink things that could be alcoholic if you're out with them? Like tonic with no gin?

SS81C · 02/07/2017 14:35

Hi, hope I'm not too late go join the chat. I'm just over 5 weeks with baby no 2.
Super anxious this time round but not telling anyone just yet but it's nice to have people to chat to!
Symptom wise I've gone totally off tea (this happened first time too and I LOVE my tea) and a bit nauseated but otherwise feeling ok (but stupidly anxious about everything.
Xx

EsmeeMerlin · 02/07/2017 15:10

Oh it is exciting to be pregnant together but we just want to wait and see that everything goes ok first before we start to really get excited.

CL1982 · 02/07/2017 15:17

@kerryleanne84 Great! I hated the digits last time but they are def my friends this time around!!

@esmeemetlunI know what you mean but after 3 losses I have decided to really be positive and just throw myself into this pregnancy. Even the consultant has told me to be as positive as possible :) I am really enjoying it!

SS81C · 02/07/2017 15:26

@CL1982 I know!! I mean it's good because of usually be drinking 4-5 cups a day minimum but I miss it. I still crave a up but when it's in front of me I can't face it.
I love how positive you're being. It's making me feel more positive and I have really no reason to be anxious! Xx

CL1982 · 02/07/2017 15:39

Absolutely Grin We are going I to this so excited and positive! It's much less tiring!!

SS81C I have gone off chocolate which is quite depressing, and if last time is anything to go by, my tea drinking days are also numbered!

Princessk29 · 02/07/2017 16:47

Would ❤️ To join due 25.02.18, first baby after MC in march x

Lauralou031986 · 02/07/2017 18:11

Iv not had tea or coffee since iv found out it doesn't really appeal to me at the moment, anyone craving anything at the moment?

CL1982 · 02/07/2017 18:42

Does anyone else have lower backache? I think it's normal but had it last Mc so it'll always be a trigger worry for me! It looks like it's normal and I was in a stress position yesterday....

OP posts:
SheSaidHeSaid · 02/07/2017 19:17

I keep thinking I've got no symptoms, other than the mild cramp-like feeling except I've actually been shattered yesterday and today. I had put it down to less caffeine (gone from god knows how many cups of tea and coffee to 2 small caffeinated drinks a day) but now I actually think it might be a symptom because I also burst into uncalled for tears earlier in town over something so trivial. So my hormones must be going a bit potty.

No backache for me, CL1982 , but try not to worry yourself over it as could be absolutely anything and nothing to be concerned about. Hopefully someone a bit wiser than myself will know more?

KerryLeanne84 · 02/07/2017 19:45

I've been having backache lady, apparently it's normal because of increased blood flow down there- try not to worry ❤️

Summer1986 · 02/07/2017 20:14

A little lower back soreness here too. What are everyone's thoughts on private reassurance scans? I was all for them last time but if anything all it did was cause me more anxiety.
