I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

Anyone just found out they're preggers and want some buddies?

Regarding telling people. For DS we told parents at 12 weeks as we don't live near them, it was the earliest we could see them, and wanted to tell them face to face. Worth last pregnancy we were seeing everyone 2 days after we found out at 5 weeks so told them, and then I started bleeding whilst we were at sil's, which was awful. This time we have a scan next week so waiting till after that, will then tell family and close friends. I've already told my antenatal group from DS1 as we all share everything very early! Strange to tell them before family but everyone has done that, it's kind of like not real life as they are v separate to other friendship groups etc. And was out with some last night, no way could I get away without drinking and them not asking, and they all knew we'd been ttc, they've asked every month!!

Anyone else incredibly tired? Can't seem to keep my eyes open

Lauralou031986 · 01/07/2017 15:44

We told people a couple of weeks after finding out, I'm soooo tired find my self nodding in the afternoon, Which isn't easy when I have a 2year old lol don't remember being like this 1st time round, maybe it's twins 👶👶

CL1982 · 01/07/2017 16:02

@kerryleanne84 don't worry!! I think all of will be surreptitiously doing this until 12 weeks.

I didn't realise people continued to test until their scan. Am I meant to?

I am SO clueless by the way!

Lauralou031986 · 01/07/2017 16:31

I only did 1 test a clear blue one with weeks indicator

SheSaidHeSaid · 01/07/2017 17:06

Ah ok. I started thinking i was meant to test periodically to make sure I'm still pregnant and things are going well.

Told you I was clueless.

Lauralou031986 · 01/07/2017 17:11

Your not clueless I think everybody just has there own ways and does things differently Smile

Hi ladies! I'm 4 weeks, tested positive yesterday. Our first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage, 3 years ago. We've been TTC for the last 6 months and it came as a surprise this time as I was getting so used to seeing negatives! I'm also really tired and have been for the last week, I thought it was too early for symptoms and maybe I'm just ready for a week of leave from work! Wishing everyone lots of luck for their pregnancies x

KerryLeanne84 · 01/07/2017 17:51

Nope SheSaid and I don't think it's recommended as it gives you something to stress about!
Congratulations Summer! when would you be due?

CL1982 · 01/07/2017 18:00

No def don't test again-that way in the road to madness lies.....

CL1982 · 01/07/2017 18:01

Absolutely. I feel like an old hand at this up to 5 weeks and then I am totally in the dark!!!

Fab to "meet" you all! X

EsmeeMerlin · 01/07/2017 19:26

Just got a positive test today! Complete shock as we were not ttc unlike with our son(3) so it has taken us a good couple of hours to get used to the idea. It's going to be a struggle that's for sure but we are pretty sure we want to continue with the pregnancy.

Just found out my sister is pregnant today as well, she is around 7 weeks and I told her. We won't tell anyone else though as we both have a history of miscarriages.

SheSaidHeSaid · 01/07/2017 20:34

Aww Esmee that'll be nice for you and your sister.

rextrex · 01/07/2017 21:52

Oh my god I'm SO TIRED! I was going to do some work tonight and I just can't. Fell asleep on the bed before with the toddler watching fireman Sam. Shouting "Sam Sam" everytime the Netflix loaded the next episode. Could not for the life of me keep my eyes open!

KerryLeanne84 · 01/07/2017 23:10

March 8th here 😊

CL1982 · 01/07/2017 23:48
