I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

Hello all! Can I please join in? I've had 5 faint positive tests and I'm 2 days late. How far are you all?

CL1982 · 02/07/2017 20:27

@summer1986 re. Back pain mine is quite sore Confused Not sure what it's about but hoping it goes away soon. Reassurance scan wise I'm not sure...I am being scanned in 2 weeks as I'm hoggish risk with 3 mcs but not sure past that....? I think itMs uk to you. I wouldn't go earlier than 7/8 weeks for it....

@kerryleanne84 I'll try! It is quite uncomfortable! Wondering whether to take a paracetamol...

Hi youcant ! Have you tried a clearblue digital test? That's what I did the day after I got a faint (ish) positive.

I'm 4 weeks and 4 days Smile

SheSaidHeSaid · 02/07/2017 20:33

I don't think I will bother, summer , just because things can still change between the early scan and the NHS scan so I'm not sure it'll stop me worrying.

WiIdfire · 02/07/2017 20:40

I'd like to join too please! Due March 1st (ish). Also not a straightforward road getting here (does anyone ever have an easy path?). Nice to meet you all.

That's a good idea Kerry. Isn't it silly all this subterfuge Grin

Right now I don't really feel like going out after work anyway, so tired and sick feeling. The only thing that is helping the sickness is eating. I lost 3.5 stone over the last few years and I'm terrified I'm going to put it all back on.

Sorry if weight loss talk is not what people want to hear but this is what my brain has decided to stress about this morning.

CL1982 · 03/07/2017 09:36

I think everyone has their own worries :) don't worry! Wow that is a lot of weight!!

SheSaidHeSaid · 03/07/2017 13:19

I've felt like I could constantly eat recently, not because I feel sick but it's like there isn't enough food in the world for some reason.

I've just loaded up on healthy bits in my weekly shop, lots of fruit and veg and things like fishsticks or pre cooked chicken so I can munch on that and not crisps and chocolate. I lost weight on slimming world a little while ago so am following their concept but without actually counting syns etc. Everything in moderation and filling yourself up on good things. I figure its win win then as its all good for you anyway.

KerryLeanne84 · 03/07/2017 15:08

That's great work SheSaid! - I haven't felt like quite a lot of food and I also can't eat much at all before I feel full. I am snacking more though!

Super sleepy here today and a bit of lower back ache - looking forward to relaxing at home tonight with a hot water bottle!

CL1982 · 03/07/2017 16:05

@kerryleanne84 glad i'm not the only one with back ache! Feeling less sick today than yesterday which has actually been a slight relief. Yesterday was awful.

Hello - thought I'd check in. Just on my way home from work absolutely exhausted. Not sure how I can keep this up. Thankfully DH cooked enough last night that cover tonight's dinner. I'm fit to flop (although maybe can muster energy for poldark on record)

blueobsessive · 03/07/2017 20:05

Ps. Hope the backache clears. Apparently progesterone can make joints and connective tissue more lax - thus more pain-y . Definitely found that last time

KerryLeanne84 · 03/07/2017 20:33

Definitely CL1982 it felt a lot like period pain earlier on but a lot of women seem to say that online.

Plus as Blue says - (hey blue!) progesterone causes it, and I'm on progesterone supplements as well as my natural stuff so I've probably got even more going on!

I had cheese on toast for dinner tonight, really need to get some healthy meals batch cooked so I can still eat healthily at the moment!

CL1982 · 03/07/2017 20:37

Thanks @blueobsessive that is good to know. I'm on supplements as well so it could explain a lot. I think as we keep getting to ultrasounds without anything on them i'll relax a lot more when we find out there is def a baby in there!! As I said, mine could have been caused by too much playing so I'll keep an eye and DH has promised a massage tonight Smile Seeing the chiropractor tomorrow morning!

CL1982 · 03/07/2017 20:38

P.s Go your DH cooking for you! Mine is totally doing that tomorrow!!!!

KerryLeanne84 · 03/07/2017 21:21

A good idea lol - but you haven't tried his cooking ha!

Summer1986 · 03/07/2017 22:00

Evening ladies, just getting ready for bed, had to stop myself dozing off on the sofa! Had the tiniest bit of light pink discharge today and started to worry but nothing since so hoping it's normal. I think the anxiety this time around is going to be awful, at least until we are past the 12 week scan. Hope everyone is having a nice chilled evening x

Lauralou031986 · 04/07/2017 07:50

I fell asleep at 7:15pm last night in DS room, that's a new one for me lol hope all is well with everyone today Smile

MrsMP123 · 04/07/2017 08:45

Is anyone else experiencing abdominal cramps, feel like period pains. Nothing severe just mild underneath the stomach. Is this normal?? Is a hot water bottle safe to out there?

Summer1986 · 04/07/2017 09:03

Yes! And it's scary. I'm just anxious at the moment!! No idea about the hot water bottle sorry x

MrsMP123 · 04/07/2017 09:18

I struggle with anxiety so all these little niggles worry me! I think I just need to relax and realise that there will be a few aches and pains as there's some pretty big changes going on! I have read that it is normal to have some cramps
