I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

Hello people. Welcome @TobleroneBoo

I agree with @CL1982 that this is an awkward phase re clothes. Having raved about my marsupial trews last week I wore them on Saturday when the weather warmed up. Having bought cheapskate trews made of synthetic stuff they then became like a boil in a bag- I couldn't wait to get home and take them off. It wasn't pleasant.

Now I'm sitting having a post consultant appointment brownie practically bursting the seams of my most capacious court suit... I think jersey must be the way forwards. That or stylish drapey tents (surely not fewer brownies).

@CL1982 good luck with the kitchen. After the John Lewis judgey (but efficient) delivery men pointed out all the falling apart bits of the kitchen units and cleverly disguised hole in the flooring DH was suggesting maybe we ought to get those sorted. Even irrespective of the cost I am really not up for having building stuff going on just now. I salute your courage (and realistically better now than with a baby crawling through the detritus).

Waves to @SS81C - you must be cream crackered! I don't think I could stay awake for a night, let alone work through one.

@mummyGof2boys hope being the only sherif in town is working ok.

SS81C · 14/08/2017 19:18

@MummyG, I'm convinced I've already got SPD and my knees are killing me.. DH is getting irritates because there's million pillows in the bed prolong up my various aching limbs.

I'm surprised by how sprightly I feel ģiven how little I slept over the weekend ...i was still awake at 11 Last night. I think it was because it was so quiet on the unit at the weekend.

mummyGof2boys · 14/08/2017 20:20

@SS81C yeah probably is SPD. I'm the same with pillows. It makes it pretty difficult to turn over in bed 😂😂 humphing and arghhhing over lol.
That's good that you feel good though 😊

@blueobsessive that sounds minging lol no wonder you couldn't wait to get them off 😂😂 how did the appointment go?

TobleroneBoo · 14/08/2017 20:39

I'm having a little bleed tonight, light brown when I wipe - hope it's ok

mummyGof2boys · 14/08/2017 20:48

Bleeds are normal so early on. As long as it stays light, not soaking a pad and no pain you should be ok. If you are worried call maternity

mummyGof2boys · 14/08/2017 20:59

Anyone else's skin feel bruised. Just been rubbing my shoulders and the slightest Touch is so sore

SS81C · 15/08/2017 10:24

@tobleroneboo hope the bleedig has settled this morning.

@mummyG my skin is definitely more sensitive ...

Not feeling so sprightly today as my toddler is poorly so kept me up all night and has basically cried all morning. Plus my friend is here and dont get me wrong it's nice to see her but I kinda wanna concentrate on my poorly toddler and nap when she naps.....

TobleroneBoo · 15/08/2017 11:04

It's stopped, thank you!

SS81C · 15/08/2017 11:33

How is everybody feeling today?

SS81C · 15/08/2017 15:00

I just heard my little bub's heartbeat Grin

My toddler is super cute....if I tell her to say hi to the baby she kisses my belly button!! Bless her.

mummyGof2boys · 15/08/2017 15:07

@SS81C ahhhh how exciting. That's super cute of toddler ❤️

@TobleroneBoo glad to hear the bleeding has stopped. It's so stressful isn't it.

I'm good today actually. No sickness for a change. 13 weeks on Friday so hoping that's it finishing up. How is everyone else?

TobleroneBoo · 15/08/2017 15:41

How lovely @SS81C

When you talk about morning sickness, is it actually vomiting or just the nausea? Sorry it may seem a silly question Blush

CL1982 · 15/08/2017 15:54

@mummyGof2boys I think mine is slackening off as well. Still exhausted though. Took a course out to Highclere today and was fine until I got in the mini bus and snoozed all the way home!

@TobleroneBoo Some of us have had nausea and others have had actual vomiting-it seems to vary person to person!!

My cats were super affectionate at first but they seem to have lost interest in me now! :)

mummyGof2boys · 15/08/2017 17:13
