I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

Yay win nugget!

KerryLeanne84 · 10/08/2017 12:51

Hey ladies! Great scan result Claire - high five!

I had my booking in appt today, so many questions! She gave me a bunch of leaflets and my notes and took my blood, urine and blood pressure.

She said the hospital will (triggered by today) send me a letter about the 12 week scan and that it should be before 14 weeks. If it's after the end of Aug, I'm going to have to book a private scan as there's no way I can wait that long without knowing if all is okay!

Hi OP EDD is 3rd April

mummyGof2boys · 10/08/2017 18:54

Anyone else's bump out of control 😂😂 someone actually passed comment on it today. How is everyone feeling? @CL1982 so happy your scan went well. @blueobsessive any more contractions?

Lauralou031986 · 10/08/2017 21:36

@mummyGof2boys my bumps progressing although depending on time of day sometimes it feels bigger lol

mummyGof2boys · 10/08/2017 21:42

Lol can you feel baby move yet? I'm sure I can every so often

Lauralou031986 · 10/08/2017 21:52

I feel like I can, it feels like little bubbles Smile

mummyGof2boys · 10/08/2017 22:18

Yes defo. Similar to wind but you can defo tell the difference. Like little pops. So exciting. 12 weeks tomorrow 😊😊 which means 27 weeks to go lol

Lauralou031986 · 11/08/2017 07:23

@mummyGof2boys it doesn't seem that long when you say it like that, I'm taking my lil man to midwife appointment on Monday so he can hear baby heartbeat

blueobsessive · 11/08/2017 07:33

Morning all.

Thankfully @mummyGof2boys no more contractions. I managed returning to work yesterday without any emergencies.

My bump is out of control this time. I ordered some maternity jeans and a dress in the sale as most of my fitted clothes are becoming a challenge. Maternity jeans are so comfy. When DH came home he said I looked like a marsupial and wondered if they could be used post birth to pop baby in the bump pouch if I needed to use both hands. I'd have to have quite some confidence they wouldn't end up around my ankles!

Wind/ constipation still grim so, although I am feeling pops and bubbles I don't think they are drama llama yet. It is a fabulous feeling once you can feel them though.

I'm still majorly impressed with your organisation skills (any time you fancy relocating your childminding business to central London, let me know Wink,

mummyGof2boys · 11/08/2017 07:45

@Lauralou031986 oh he will love that!!! I think we will take the boys to the next scan.

@blueobsessive oh thank goodness. That must have been such a worry. The wind is awful isn't it!!! I had a curry last night and was up all night with wind. I can imagine I would be extremely busy in London. I like being organised lol. Maternity wear is the best invention ever isn't it. So comfy.

mummyGof2boys · 11/08/2017 07:46

@CL1982 oh that's exciting. Have you told anyone else? Everyone knows now with us after our scan on Monday. I have the heating on today. It's so horrible outside. I have a 12 hour shift tomorrow and hubby leaves for his 4 weeks away at work on Wednesday 😥😥 crap

CL1982 · 11/08/2017 12:05

Oh @mummyGof2boys that is sad. You have us 😍

Well, I told DT (Dear Team-affectionately sarcastic) and it seems to have escaped from work. We will go official end of next week I think, exciting times. I still feel nervous about telling people though. I guess that's natural.

KerryLeanne84 · 11/08/2017 15:28

I still feel fine! Tired and headaches/neck pain which is common at 12 weeks but very little nausea. What little there is can be abated by a ginger biscuit in the morning or remembering to eat dinner. I realise that makes me very lucky compared to many people! I honestly always thought I'd have it rough just down to sods law so it is quite unexpected!

KerryLeanne84 · 11/08/2017 15:28

*10 weeks rather, I'm not 12 yet :)

mummyGof2boys · 11/08/2017 21:03

@CL1982 I know glad I have some ladies to moan at lol. I think it's natural to be nervous especially worrying incase anything happens. How are you feeling?

@KerryLeanne84 you are very very lucky lol. Iv had headaches too and they are a bitch arent they

Lauralou031986 · 13/08/2017 07:46

How's everyone been this weekend?

blueobsessive · 13/08/2017 09:47

Hi @Lauralou031986 hope all is well. New washing machine arrived on Friday evening which has been the cause of much delight.

As I've been free of bleeding for a fortnight I went for a swim. It was sooo good, and also helped dispel the nausea. Going to go again today.

How are you?
