Chooster ? the vits don?t go off until 09 might be on my 2nd by then! Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! I?ll wait until you?re there to tell my DH who Ready said he looks like so you can see his reaction too!! thanks for the compliments, wasn?t fishing .

Firsty ? I hope you do get the back referral and that you are not in much pain. Well, my hair is brown (was streaky in that pic as I?d just come back from Honeymoon) Thank you for saying we look good together, that was nice BVI = British Virgin Islands where we are meant to be going for my Dad?s 60th in April 08. Thanks for the answer, would quite like AF to arrive!

Com?on KitKat - want to see you! For some reason I had you as tall and blonde.

Greedy ? you get your share of weird patients don?t you! I am quite porky I?m certainly carrying 2 stone more than I?d like to be. I don?t watch Easties actually might have to check him out. There?s quite a bit of eye candy on the box really, I like Luca from ER and Christian from Nip/Tuck (he?s in the Sandra Bullock film Premonition I saw last week). If it?s stubble you like, I could lend you my DH, he?s the stubbliest man I?ve ever known and doesn?t my chin know it! He?s not a bad boy though

greedyforbabies · 27/03/2007 16:42

you sound like a very happy easter bunny today mrs! its really nice to see!
could your dh give my dh some of his stubble please? i love a bit of stubble but my poor dh is a bit sparse on hair on his face! he has REALLY hairy balls though!

greedyforbabies · 27/03/2007 16:42

SORRY! i couldn't resist!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 27/03/2007 17:05

PMSL superb Greedy!

honeyapple · 27/03/2007 18:27

Ha!
You should see my DP. He is a gorgeously hairy monster, grrrrr...

Sex kitten eh? Well only on a VERY good day!
All my grey hairs are coming out now though as I don't think I should dye it when PG. I did buy some 'natural' hair dye from Sainsburys yesterday... says contains no ammonia or peroxide... but doesnt say what IS in it... so i'm a bit unsure. Anyone got an opinion?... to dye or not to dye that is the question...

I agree that MrsmcJnr is not how I imagined... Had her down for more like Greedy's description!

fettleandminifettle · 27/03/2007 19:51

Hi All

Greedy, your children are gorgeous! MIL and GMIL had bright red hair when they were younger, so we are still waiting for a red-headed child. I think on girls, it can look beautiful. My DH (bad DH) had only one thought when the midwife said she could see lots of hair when I was crowning with DD (what colour is it?!!!). turns out she's like me light brown/dark blonde - maybe this next one will be a carrot-head boy!!! But beautiful all the same, I'm sure!!

Live in North Wiltshire - so would be good to have the name of a recommended chiropractor - not sure of the best way of swapping e-mail addresses though - we get so much rubbish through, just cos DH left his e-mail address on some website somewhere! Maybe, we could arrange to put them on our profile pages for 10 mins only when we know we are both on-line?

MrsMc - so good to hear you sounding so chirpy - not sure about the sore boobs - but sounds as if that fertile egg is going to arrive soon, with all you have planned ahead of you!!

Will Carling can be quite good looking in the right light, personally think your DH is much better looking and you are totally gorgeous - if you lost 2 stone, I think you'd be too skinny!

I on the other hand, need to lose 3!!! Dread to think how many that will be in a few months, but being ok so far on controlling my weight gain. Had gained over a stone by this stage with DD.

Poor DD has had high temp all day today too - hopefully she'll be better tomorrow, but we spent the afternoon dozing in front of the telly on the sofa - what bliss. Despite all the sleep during the day, she was out like a light this evening - hopefully we won't have too much of a bad night. I'm definitely suffering a bit from it, but refusing to take any paracetamol unless absolutely necessary - my lovely (not that hairy!) DH is make me my supper - as I'm starving!!

One last thing before I leave you that I have to share with you all.

I WANT A PINA COLADA!!!! and I don't even really like them!!
Help - I'm an alcoholic!!!

Bodkin · 27/03/2007 21:36

Phwoarrrr - MrsMcplayboybunnygirl - you are gorgeous! (lord, I've only had a small glass of white wine, and look at me!) Funnily enough, I did imagine you with blonde hair, but in a bob. I didn't go to Edinburgh (Sussex, actually [posh southern softie emoticon]), and have spent very little time in Scotland generally so I doubt our paths have ever crossed! But I got your DH all wrong. I pictured him to be much more Clark Kent like for some reason (glasses and quite serious looking)

Fettle - love your fantasy drink. I keep craving G&T at the mo.

I also have a hairy DP, although only facially, not much of a Tom Selleck chest wig going on, thank goodness.

Greedy, thanks for saying I'm slim! Well, I'm certainly not in Babymad's 8 stone league! And at the moment, no way!

Now look, I said I would go out to my workshop at 9.15pm and it is clearly way past that, and there was loads more I wanted to say. Will try to put a proper picture up soon. What do you mean we look a bit stiff Chooster, that was us having a right laugh...

Bodkin · 27/03/2007 21:44

Hey Kitkat - just seen your scan pic - that is the coolest I've ever seen - he/she is looking straight at the camera! Clearly born to be a star!

KitKat30 · 28/03/2007 08:34

Thanks Bodders. He was such a wriggly little fish at that scan I'm amazed we got such a good pic! At first he even refused to turn around and just lay there with his back to us... Did good in the end though

Morning everyone - hope you're OK?

I had someone else offer their seat for me today - was pleased about it yesterday, but today I've realised that it must mean I'm the size of a bloody house! And I'm only half way through!!!! He is a giant baby...

OP posts:
honeyapple · 28/03/2007 08:54

Lovely picture kitkat. How many weeks were you at the scan?

Plumber is coming tommorrow a.m to start hacking our bathroom apart... going to be a blooming nightmare as is only bathroom/loo in the house! I think I'm going to have to craftily pee in a bucket somewhere... It will of course be fab when all finished, finally getting rid of the 70's grey suite we inherited.

PinkButterfly · 28/03/2007 09:13

Oh a new thread! Hello all!! . We have been having some work done in house in area where pc/internet link is so I haven't managed on much recently apart from the very odd quick look when I have had access at other people's pc's. Hopefully back in MN land now - don't know if I'll manage the time to read through this whole thread though !! How are you all ??

Bodkin · 28/03/2007 09:29

Oh welcome back PinkButterfly - wondered where you'd gone! Has all the work finished now, or are you still in chaos?

Honeyapple - how exciting, a new luxury bathroom. I want to get cracking on our kitchen before the baby comes, but don't know if we'll get time. Might slosh a bit of paint around though when that nesting instinct really kicks in and I'm wondering around the house at 11.00pm full of energy, as happened last time!

Kitkat - that's good you're getting seats offered to you - take full advantage!

Hi Bodkin. Unfortunately we still do have more work to be done - just some plastering, tiling and a bit of decorating which I could see far enough but want out of the way before baby arrives. Have set a deadline for it all to be finished by end April so that I can have six weeks of peace and feet up before chaos begins once more!

honeyapple · 28/03/2007 11:04

We've been meant to do the bathroom for 2 yrs now...but never really had the spare cash...(still don't! Oh well) you can get the suite fairly cheap, but it costs to get it all put in, and DP is NOT a DIY kind of guy. I have done a lot around the house, but plumbing is a bit too much for me. We have had the new bath suite in the kid's playroom since Janurary. Can't wait for it all to be done, but plumber reckons it'll take him 2 wks at least. How do they do it on these DIY programmes in like 1 day????
It's going to be fab. Having a seperate shower put in the old airing cupboard.

I too intend to remain anon regarding posting piccies. Don't want to make you all jealous! (joke!)

MrsMcEasterBunny · 28/03/2007 11:17

Ah Fettle, that was sweet of you Hope DD is better today.

Bodkin ? I went to school in Eastbourne. My DH is anything but serious! Tonic is good for keeping leg cramps away, I drank virgin G&Ts all through my very short pregnancy (and cobra 0% beer)

It is a great photo Kitkat

Hello Honeyapple

Hello Pinkbutterfly how are you getting on?

Firststar ? I know but I?d rather have a baby than a holiday and no baby!

Chooster · 28/03/2007 11:26

Welcome back Pinkbutterfly! Fingers crossed everything is sorted out for you by the end of April - it'll be great!! Good luck with the bathroom honeyapple!

So, you reckon I'm sophisticated Greedy! Well, of course you are absolutely right, extremely sophisticated and well cultured! I must tell DH Sadly its not quite true - I've definately got elements of the village idiot about me sometimes!

I'll pop a picture on tonight of me and DS if I remember

fettleandminifettle · 28/03/2007 11:30

Hi All

At home - I'm not feeling too bad, but DD has really high temp and bad cold - I can tell she is ill as she's happily lying on the sofa with me, dozing on and off,so I'm managing to stop my illness get any worse - don't want to miss too much work though, always feel guilty when it is due to DD illness, but then I have hardly even taken time off for me, except following ERCPs for my mcs! She's happily eating digestives and drinking milk now, so hopefully on the mend a bit!

DIY - we have to get on and do that in our new house we have bought, but as we don't live there, it has be at weekends, and I've just noy been in the mood recently - we are due to move in in mid-aug,so has to be done by then.

Have to go typing one-handed as DD wants a cuddle with my right arm!! btw - anyone with dc seen cbeebies new show in the night garden - what do you think of it?

still want an ice cold alcoholic drink - i'm definitely an alcoholic - help!!!

Just had a phone call to tell us our friends have lost their baby. Went to their 13 wk scan this morning and baby hadn't developed and no heartbeat. They have two ds and we went through our pg's with our ds2's at exactly the same time (there are two days between the boys). They had been trying for this baby for 15 months and had just had their first appointment to check fertility etc when they found out she was pg. I just feel so awful and guilty that we got pg at first attempt and everything fine and they were trying so long and then lost their much wanted baby.

KitKat30 · 28/03/2007 13:30

Oh PinkB I'm so sorry for your friend - she must be devastated. But you mustn't feel guilty - just cherish the little one inside you. Every pregnancy is different and we've all had our ups and downs - admittedly some more than others, but we have no control over that. Guilt is the worst emotion you can have because it's so destructive and there's nothing you can do to change the situation. Just be there for her and let her know how much you care. I know it's hard but try not to feel guilty for your pg hon x

PinkButterfly · 28/03/2007 13:43

Oh Kitkat - I hope my post didn't sound like I was making it about me and my feelings. It's just that it's an ongoing thing really. They were trying and everyone knew they were trying and there we were adamantly shouting from the rooftops that there would be no more babies for us. Then we changed our minds and fell pg right away and right away my first thought was oh no how are we going to tell XX and XX. I was so praying she would fall pg before I announced mine at 14 wks but she didnt. It was a bit strained when she found out about me and it took her two days even to send me a text to congratulate me and then it wasn't really discussed at all which made me feel so awkward. When she found out she was pg everything changed and babies/pg weren't a taboo subject anymore and I felt so much more relaxed. Now I am worrying how she is going to feel having me around etc etc - will it just maker her feel so bad ? I know for a long time after my mc I found being around pg people or people with babies really upsetting but luckily none of my close friends were pg. They have had such a run of bad luck recently and now this I feel so awful for them. They had told everyone she was expecting even her ds's.

I didnt think that at all PinkB - just worried for you hon as I can imagine how difficult it must be. Poor your friend - it must be so hard. You just have to somehow let her know that you're there for her if she needs you.

You be there for her, and we'll be here for you. That's the way it works x

MrsMcEasterBunny · 28/03/2007 14:12

Pinky - I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. It's heartbreaking and it seems to happen so much. Speaking as someone going through exactly this at the moment with 9 pg friends! I do understand how they all feel but it is isolating when no one will call you for fear of rubbing their condition in your face when you've just lost your baby. Those who've cared from a distance and sent me little notes to say they were thinking of me did make me feel much better
