Hey folks. Still here too. Knackered today as sleeping v badly and it was my big girls birthday. Constant nausea here too - actually prefer the occasions I vomit as then I get a brief relief!

minniemouseears · 01/07/2017 20:36

Oh the boob squeezing!!!! Haha my boobs are huge nips are raw feeling but definately not as tender as they where running up to my bfp 😕 telling myself what will be will be this is not my 1st pregnancy but don't remember any real symptoms so early with the others except my boobs slowly getting bigger. Except with my twins but those symptoms rocketed and never let up sick as a dog at 5 weeks then too

NoParticularPattern · 01/07/2017 21:27

They always say that raw milk is an issue because it might contain listeria or E. coli but I'm unsure where they get this data from, because if they saw the barrage of tests our milk goes through on a daily basis there is no way on this planet that it contains Listeria or E. coli in quantities large enough to do damage. Otherwise it'd fail the milk tests! I haven't drunk any since I've known I'm pregnant, but I totally miss it. I miss the fact that if I go and get some from the tank and let it settle for an hour or so, I can basically drink a pint of double cream not even sorry

On account of the fact that he's a fairy farmer we are about to go out very very late to someone's wedding reception. I'm not feeling it but I feel a shit load better after dry heaving after brushing my teeth! Oh the joys!

NoParticularPattern · 01/07/2017 21:28

He's definitely not farming fairies. He farms moo cows for milk! Bloody autocorrect!

PTphonehome · 01/07/2017 22:25

Hi all, 20+6 here and time seems to be slowing down. School holidays started on Thursday so I have 7 weeks off and I am going to use it to keep fit and enjoy my big boy.
Hope everyone is well x

PTphonehome · 01/07/2017 22:26

I want to be a fairy farmer that sounds awesome!

mogulfield · 01/07/2017 23:01

Feeling very sick tonight so can't get off to sleep, I also dry heaved cleaning my teeth Pattern haven't actually been sick at all yet.
I'd love to be a fairy farmer! Although I wouldn't want to kill them, maybe a fairy nanny! I think the nausea is sending me a bit insane...
PT any plans for the summer? That's amazing you have 7 weeks off Smile

Hazandduck · 01/07/2017 23:37

Free range fairies for all 😄

theotherendofthesockportal · 01/07/2017 23:45

Totally changing my career to become a fairy farmer

JCleRoux · 02/07/2017 08:20

Morning all. I woke up in such a panic this morning because I dreamt I was bleeding last night. It seemed so real too Sad and it's not doing anything to ease the constant anxiety I'm already feeling.

Trying not to let it bother me too much and focus on the reality today.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday

WLMcI · 02/07/2017 08:49

Oh JC that's so distressing, those really life-like horrible dreams! I haven't had them in this pregnancy yet, but I have before. It's just the pre-occupations of your mind coming out in the wash, but it sucks!

Miami that is a pretty ridiculous restaurant, 3 starters and none of them safe for pregnant women or even vegetarian?! I would have had a word lol! You're fine with cheesecake, it's made with cream cheese (which is always pasteurised as it is not a ripened cheese) and gelatin (or if it's NY style, cream cheese and eggs, fully baked so there's no harm there either). Hope you're more settled now physically btw, no more scary times? You've had it rough, thank god the first trimester is done with!

minniemouseears · 02/07/2017 09:08

JC I have had that dream also day I found out horrible hope your ok

beanhunter · 02/07/2017 09:18

Ugh. Off to drive 100 miles x 2 today for a family gathering I don't really want to go too. Feeling sick. They don't know I'm pregnant and usually wine is the only thing that makes it bareable. The wine I can live without but the journey will not be fun.

Brenna24 · 02/07/2017 09:38

Horrible dream JC. I hope you are recovering now.

I think you could come down with a tummy bug and not go Bean.

DancingUnicorn · 02/07/2017 09:58

Oh bean. That's the worst. Long journeys whilst feeling sick for something you don't really want to do. I hope it is bearable for you!

Hazandduck · 02/07/2017 14:44

That's horrible @JC :( I had the same on Wednesday after my 20 week scan and it has actually triggered off my anxiety again, so much so I have arranged to see my midwife before my next appointment to make sure all is ok! She said it is just hormones and it's so common in pregnancy, especially if you've already had a loss xx

TheLegendOfBeans · 02/07/2017 14:51

Oh JC been there, had those. They really knock you sideways for the whole day and the graphic vividness all these preggo hormones dredge up is a mindbender of the highest order. I was plagued for about 15 weeks.

Good news though! I predict you'll be onto frankly bizarre sex dreams before long. I'd like to thank French Premier Emmanuel Macron for being an unexpected yet regular visitor to my subconscious of late x

Hazandduck · 02/07/2017 15:04

@Legend haha I can't wait for that stage! I've just been dreaming of all the people I've ever loved that died, way more morbid! Roll on erotic dreams :) x

JCleRoux · 02/07/2017 18:20

Thanks everyone. I was just beginning to get so happy and excited even planning ahead too...

Legend 15 weeks of bad dreams? Oh no!

I'd much rather have erotic dreams Grin than the awful stuff of nightmares I had last night.

yellowfrontdoor · 02/07/2017 19:17

Ugh. Who'd have MILs?!

My usually lovely MIL decided to drop a bollock about using re-usable nappies today. Then remarked to DH 'how much better they are for the environment'.
Now, I know that they are so I know I'm being U, but DH seized upon it totally him being an occasional eco-warrior apparently. However, it'll be me doing 95% of nappies, me that would have to wash, dry & sort them all out in winter with no tumble & no line to dry them. Arghhhh! She's already casually dropped in comments about breast vs bottle feeding. I'm so annoyed at her for this, me & DH rowed to the point we're barely speaking. Ridiculous!

Quick disclaimer: I know she had a good point & yes, her hearts in the right place but seriously?! I've looked after many children with them & used them a few times but I've never been impressed.

Rant over!

CharlieWeasley · 02/07/2017 19:59

Hi everyone. Been on holiday with sketchy WiFi and no mobile internet for a week so just catching up on the thread. Some of you have really been through it this week - hope everything is settling down.
13+5 now and have started telling people - it all feels very real now!

Hazandduck · 02/07/2017 21:13

@Yellow YANBU in my opinion, it is your child so how you choose to raise them is nothing to do with your MIL, and unless your OH plans to do all the graft with the reusable nappies then I'd tell him where to go! I don't know why the MILs always seem to want to interfere. Mine told me I should go back to work full time after 6 weeks like she did so she can be the full time nanny! I think she was half-joking....She is usually the loveliest, most supportive woman ever. I think the grandbabes and the opportunity to have another crack at parenting is just too appealing to them sometimes x

TheLegendOfBeans · 02/07/2017 21:17

JC
Haz
Take heart. For me it switched almost overnight.

Waking up wanting to cry and feeling shaken 3-4 mornings a week.

Then - BANG! - waking up feeling a bit funny, damp and ashamed due to fumblings with a newly elected President.

All joking aside - it will pass. Fear + hormones + anxiety + subconscious working overtime makes for a heady brew: be kind to yourselves as you have insomnia due to 25 night wees just round the corner xx

Sweetyboo · 02/07/2017 21:19

@JCleRoux thats not good. I remember 3 times i had mc i wokeup at 3 crying coz i had a dream bleeding one time holding a fetus in hand & 3 rd time bleeding two & all 3 time it came true & was a mc now i just so scared of dream coz weirdly 3 time i saw & came true.
