@Hazandduck thanks so much for that. Was worried I was being a brat!

I've definitely had awful dreams about bleeding and they're so vivid. I woke up heart pounding, clammy & sick, I legged it to the loo until I realised I'd just been dreaming.
Have also had some rude dreams too!
Not about Trump though, you monster GrinWink

JCleRoux · 02/07/2017 22:42

@yellowfrontdoor my best advice that I got about intefering people and unsolicited words of 'wisdom' is to just smile and wave. What you choose to put on your DC is entirely up to you!

Thanks again @TheLegendofBeans it's a horrible horrible feeling waking up this way and it is stealing all the joy.

Roll on the erotic dreams I say!

Brenna24 · 03/07/2017 07:05

After feeling more sick than I have ever felt in any other pregnancy friday and saturday I felt hardly any nausea at all on sunday and have woken up not feeling sick today either. I do not have a good feeling about this.

AmyB1986 · 03/07/2017 07:42

@Brenna24 my nausea would come and go in the beginning too. I'd feel fine for a couple of days then it would hit me like a brick wall. Try not to worry, I know it's hard not to.

I feel like absolute poo this morning. I have a cold or hay fever not sure which as they both feel the same. Stuffed up and feel sick

Sweetyboo · 03/07/2017 08:25

Im 14 w & nausea still same, was sick yesterday too. Ppl say thats a healthy pg signConfused im still getting brown bleed/discharge. Doc just called with my result that i have a thrush. Every time i need wee i still get pain in low stomach nights are worse. But hb on doppler is still strong & beautiful. If bleeding dont stop im gonna ask for another scsn at week 16

peachgreen · 03/07/2017 09:53

@Brenna24 My nausea practically disappeared over the weekend and today it's worse than ever. I really do think it's normal for it to come and go.

NoParticularPattern · 03/07/2017 09:56

Well I still feel horrendous. The novelty is definitely wearing off now!

In other news my fairy farmer Grin is currently spreading slurry and so he smells like quite possibly the worst person on the planet. Eugh. I am not loving life right now!!

Brenna24 · 03/07/2017 11:20

Thank you guys. I did get a tiny bit a wee minute ago, which went with some cheese on toast.

I forgot to say I was loving the fairy farmer comment the other day, Pattern. Urgh, slurry spreading and nausea are not a good combination though. You have my sympathy.

JCleRoux · 03/07/2017 12:38

How far are you now @Brenna24? Like everyone has said it does tend to come and go. I'm now 16 weeks and still spent Friday afternoon hugging the toilet bowl.

peachgreen · 03/07/2017 12:59

Today's panic (there's one every day, oh the joys of pregnancy after miscarriage) is that I'm getting some clear discharge (and obvs freaking out it's amniotic fluid) and my cervix feels really open. High, but open. Argh. Anyone know if a previous D&C/ERPC (which I had for my MMC) could cause your cervix to feel open in subsequent pregnancies? I know giving birth does but are you dilated enough for a D&C?

Argh, utter, I know! My bestie gave me such a row for poking my cervix and I know the midwife will too if I eventually pluck up the guts to call her! The discharge is just so clear and watery, it's freaking me out! I think I just need the midwife to say 'yes it's open on the outside because you had a D&C' - I've found people saying that on forums but not anywhere 'official' if you know what I mean so I'm panicking!

I promise to hold your hand in return during your next panic!

mogulfield · 03/07/2017 18:34

sweety I'm near Manchester, hello!
Step away from the cervix peach I wouldn't have a clue what mines meant to feel like anyway, so haven't tried to find mine!
Similar to a few people I'm having waves of nausea and feeling tired and some times I feel fine, I try and eat as much as I can during the good times!

Brenna24 · 03/07/2017 18:50

7 weeks today according to last weeks scan. I know the symptoms can come and go it is just the fact that this is the exact progression I had with my MMC. It all feels far too familiar. First a week bleeding, then loss of symptoms, which with my first pregnancy happened because the baby had died. It is like groundhog day. I am feeling a little bit queasy this afternoon. Fingers crossed I have a rubbish day again tomorrow. That would put my mind at rest a bit. Although realistically after 3 miscarriages there is no way I can relax all pregnancy.

Brenna24 · 03/07/2017 18:50

Peach prodding your cervix can cause problems. Don't even think about it!

DancingUnicorn · 03/07/2017 19:15

I generally wouldn't wish sickness on anyone Brenna but I hope you feel rough tomorrow if it gives you a moment's relief from the anxiety! It's no fun, this early pregnancy malarkey without throwing previous mcs into the mix, which just adds a whole new dimension.

JCleRoux · 03/07/2017 19:40

Oh @Brenna24 I know it's easier said than done and I know previous miscarriage have literally scared all of us but without any pain and blood, you are pregnant today. I know what it's like to constantly be feeling like you're waiting for the other shoe to drop and it's awful. TOday you are pregnant. Hold on to that.

@peachgreen I wouldn't even have the faintest idea what a cervix should feel like but yeah doesn't sound like a good idea to be fiddling with it and feeding your anxiety as a result. Maybe a call to the midwives is not such a bad idea actually. If for nothing else to stop the anxiety.

yellowfrontdoor · 03/07/2017 20:37

@Brenna24 never thought I'd be messaging this but hope you feel shitty in the morning Wink

I felt 'ok' today until about 2-ish; when I hit the wall.
Before the nausea kicked back in I was frantically boob squeezing again. Have a hand-hold to get through these horrible first weeks. Flowers
Here's to us all feeling rough until we get to 12 weeks Grin

DancingUnicorn · 03/07/2017 20:41

How can 12 weeks take soooooo long to pass? Only another 7 weeks and 2 days till my scan. Feels like forever!

Yes yellow. Here's to that perfect level of reassuringly rough, but not so much that we can't cope. It's not asking for much, right?

beanhunter · 03/07/2017 20:42

Less nausea today but still exhausted with agonising boobs. 12 week scan through for 9.8.17. Feels an eternity away.

inthemystery · 04/07/2017 03:55

hello ladies.. i've been lurking on these threads for quite a while and reading all your stories.. you seem like lovely people! This thread has provided me with much reassurance and made me feel less isolated at times when i've needed it the most.

I am currently 6+3. I'm 35. This is my 4th pregnancy.. my 1st, resulted in a healthy boy, who is now almost 2. My 2nd was a MC at 6+2. My 3rd was a MMC at 9+3 (but baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks). They were back to back MC with no cycle in between. Currently terrified of MC'ing again... i was SUPER sick with my first pregnancy.. like the most intense nausea 24 hours a day from 5.5 weeks - week 14. The 2 miscarriages were just minor queasiness. This one seems to have followed the same pattern - i started to feel sick at 5+6 but it hasn't really developed into anything.. just minor queasiness that comes and goes. So needless to say i'm not feeling super positive. I have a scan on Thursday when i will be 6+6 so hopefully will have some sort of definitive answer then.. but.. TODAY, I AM PREGNANT.

Brenna24 · 04/07/2017 06:37

Hi Mystery. I am sorry for your losses. Fingers crossed this is the one. I hope your scan goes well. It is so hard when pregnancies follow the pattern of previous losses. You are trying to tell yourself that every pregnancy is different and that each of those things can also happen in healthy pregnancies but inside you are already stiffened against the worst and starting to grieve. Hang in there. We are all with you. Flowers

I feel a bit sick again this morning and the bloating was back by last night. Feeling slighly less stressed. I got this message from the Dr at the private clinic that specialises in hormones

*I have been asked for my comments on your HCG levels of the 28th and 30 June. The first being 59993 and the second one being 71657. This is a 19.4% two-day increase, and would give a doubling time of 7.8 days. As you know HCG levels usually double about every two days for the first four weeks of pregnancy. As pregnancy progresses the doubling time becomes longer, levels flatten out around 8 to 10 weeks and then the levels decline for the remainder of the pregnancy.

As I understand it you had an ultrasound scan with a good-sized yolk sac and a foetus with a good heartbeat measuring six weeks and one day on 27 June. Nevertheless, your reckoning was six weeks and four days and LMP would have given seven weeks and one day at that point.

By the youngest reckoning, you were six weeks and two days at the time of the first blood test.

I think that HCG taken on its own at the time that levels begin to flatten can be a little confusing and probably in your case discouraging. The presence of an intrauterine pregnancy and a good heartbeat are, at this stage, better indicators of well-being than HCG which comes into its own below four weeks. Also, your Progesterone level is good. The overall picture is reassuring, even though you have had a small amount of red bleeding

I might be tempted to get another ultrasound scan between now and 18 July if you can and good ongoing growth would be as much reassurance as one could wish for. I do not think that it is helpful to get further HCGs at this stage in pregnancy.

I hope this makes sense. With best wishes*

I don't want extra scans, so I will just have to keep hold of the fact that the HCG was still rising last week and it is at good levels and that the sickness is coming back. My heart sank when I first saw the doubling time but looking on google it doesn't look that that is odd at these levels. As Mystery just said Today I am pregnant.

Flowers thank you AnUtter. It is hard after all this time and so many down times to even imagine this could work. It can though and I need to kick my butt in gear. I think once I have seen a scan of a living baby at past the longest I have ever gone before it will be easier to see. For now I have been here before and it didn't end well. But this time I have treatment and should keep the faith.
