Sorry to hear that bean fingers crossed for you, you already had one successful scan so that's good.
minnie I am going crazy checking symptoms, I felt very sick today and my boobs still hurt but sometimes the symptoms die down a bit and I stress!

Brenna24 · 29/06/2017 23:13

That sounds horrible Pattern. I hae had my most nauseous day yet but I haven't actually been sick yet.

Hugs Bean. I suspect they probably wouldn't see you this soon. Have you had any cramping? I had a tiny bit more red bleeding this afternoon after going out to church and to pick up some groceries. It is making me quite scared to leave my bed.

beanhunter · 30/06/2017 06:19

No they just did and abdominal scan. No checking of cervix.

DancingUnicorn · 30/06/2017 07:26

I'm sorry you're still having stressful times Bean and Brenna. I really hope it's nothing. But so understandable to be stressed. Bean, do you have a number for the EPU? Maybe worth ringing to ask, especially given that it's Friday?

Sorry for those suffering from dreadful nausea. Mines only just starting, and still mild yet. But I'm only 5 weeks. Torn between wanting my symptoms to kick in to reassure me and not wanting to feel horrific. I'm already shattered.

Hope everyone has a good Friday!

WLMcI · 30/06/2017 07:53

Hi all, thanks for the referral @Say! I've been so busy since this time last week that I'm only catching up on the news now. Relieved to hear those having bleeding issues have had good scans, it's so stressful!

I had a bit of stress myself, had to go for an anti-D injection as I'm rH negative and my dog jumped up on my stomach. But they reassured me that it was not really the sort of incident that would "sensitise" me, just that they were giving the injection to be on the safe side. I hope everything's OK in there; round ligament pain isn't really helping but I know that's normal at least! I think by the amount of on-and-off stretching that I'm about to have a bump growth spurt (I'm currently 14 weeks and still pretty small), so I went maternity shopping in preparation for our holiday just in case!

I second what another poster (I think peachgreen?) said a few pages ago--you're all great specimens of the female and have helped so much to keep me sane so far into this pregnancy! Thank you!

Brenna24 · 30/06/2017 09:06

Hi WMcL that sounds scary. Enjoy the holiday.

Thanks Dancing. I am actually not too stressed. It was a tiny bit of blood and we saw the bean the other days looking fine after more. I have just accepted that I am a bleeder. I am feeling as sick as a dog and sore boobs, which is reassuring me. When we lost Rowan my symptoms disappeared around the time he died, I then didn't bleed for another two weeks and only then did we find out. So I am more worried about symptoms disappearing.

I have just sent off my second blood test sample for the private clinic. The first one went on wednesday. By the end of next week we should know if my progeterone and betaHCG are rising as they should (feels like they are). Now for another day of lounging around.

Alb1 · 30/06/2017 09:38

legend and sayit we are doing really well thanks, had a scary ambulance ride a week after she came home, she didn't wake up from a nap and when I woke her she became unresponsive and kept stopping breathing (but starting again on her own thankfully) so she got readmitted for just over a week with suspected sepsis or meningitis but she bounced back quickly and has been great since Smile

Sorry to see some of you having such a rough time at the moment, it's such a tough journey but so totally worth it in the end, il be thinking of you all Flowers

Brenna24 · 30/06/2017 09:56

That sounds terrifying Alb. I hope she never does that again.

AmyB1986 · 30/06/2017 11:32

Hope everyone is ok today...

Sorry you're both still having stressful times @Brenna24 and @beanhunter.

Had to pick dd1 up from school as she's been having bladder pain for about a month now. We've been to the Drs two weeks ago who said she has blood in her wee but it isn't an infection. It's been getting gradually worse over the weeks so now I'm off to the walk in as there are no appointments with the gp until Tuesday next week.
I will refuse to move until they tell me what is wrong with her as I can't have her writhing in pain for apparently no reason, there has to be something

Brenna24 · 30/06/2017 12:53

Not all UTIs can be cultured. I bet it is an infection. Poor wee soul. I hope you get somewhere today.

peachgreen · 30/06/2017 12:56

bean I reckon it could well be your cervix then. How are you today?

Had my booking in appointment today and I'm now measuring at 10+3 which is 4 days ahead of where I thought I was - very pleased! We saw the baby moving about, kicking its wee legs, and we got to hear the heartbeat which was amazing!

What a whirlwind of information though, my head's spinning!

Brenna24 · 30/06/2017 13:05

That is great news Peach

Hazandduck · 30/06/2017 13:38

It does suggest it is related as it happened after you were straining @Bean, hopefully that's all it was!

@Peach that's wonderful news :) x

DancingUnicorn · 30/06/2017 13:59

Lovely Peach. Glad it went well.

I got a scan date through but it's not until 23rd August... which feels like an eternity away! I'll be nearly 13 weeks at that point. I think I will have to pay for a private reassurance scan before then. I'm not sure I can cope with baby being gone for nearly three weeks without me knowing a second time.

peachgreen · 30/06/2017 15:59

For some reason I don't get a 12 week scan so nothing for me until 20 weeks now!!! Will definitely be booking a private scan before then, at least to make sure we've got past 12 weeks unscathed!

AmyB1986 · 30/06/2017 16:51

Great news @peachgreen

Dd has been given antibiotics and being treated as if she had a uti but nothing showing in her wee apart from blood again. They've sent an msu to the lab again but I think you're right @Brenna24. They've also referred her to urology for a scan to see what's going on as a 9 year old shouldn't be experiencing symptoms like this for no reason. It's really odd and worrying

Brenna24 · 30/06/2017 17:33

Glad they are doing something sensible. It could just be a nasty bug that has got a hold. Fingers crossed the ABs do it and it goes away.

yellowfrontdoor · 30/06/2017 18:57

Great news @peachgreen!

I have another scan on Thursday, when hopefully I'll be 9+1.
It seems a lifetime away. I truly think if I could afford it I'd scan every week!

halloumisandwich · 30/06/2017 20:14

Hi all, finally building up the courage to join you all here, lovely to see so many names from the TTC thread waves i'm 9 weeks today and has my booking in appointment today. Now just wishing away the next few weeks until my scan! Sorry to those having a stressful time at the mo, hope you can all have a relaxed weekend!

Sock soooo gorgeous!!

WLMcI · 30/06/2017 21:38

@halloumisandwich we meet again! Congratulations!!! And it looks like you'll be due in January like me, so perhaps see you on the antenatal board sometime too :) X

yellowfrontdoor · 30/06/2017 21:47

Congratulations!

@theotherendofthesockportal great pic! So pleased for you Smile

NoParticularPattern · 30/06/2017 21:55

Awwwwww baby sock!!! How adorable! So pleased for you :)

In other news I've just had to explain to my MIL why I just had to disappear in the middle of a sentence to spew my actual guts up. It's the first time I've been properly sick and actually I feel a little better after that. Mind you I felt so horrendous before that I couldn't feel much worse! It was full on sick down nose burning acid eyes watering sick too. I feel like I've graduated to a new level of up-duffed-ness. Joy!

DancingUnicorn · 30/06/2017 21:59

Oh pattern. Sounds awful. :(
