Congrats to everyone with positive scans! So pleased...

@Miami81 happy birthday!

24 weeks tomorrow and baby just booted DH in the head for the first time! He was so happy he was jumping up and down like a kid! He will not leave my belly alone now 😊

Brenna24 · 28/06/2017 21:36

Happy birthday Miami

amy, that is hilarious.

Great news Haz and Mama.

No bleeding here today. I am headachy and a bit sick and totally fed up.

Sweetyboo · 28/06/2017 21:39

Aw @AmyB1986 thats great i cant wait for them moments my 5 year old son can not wait for baby to move & kick he keep asking me questions. Today he put his teddy in his top & said he is having a baby too.

JCleRoux · 28/06/2017 22:06

Hi Pattern so pleased that everything went well with your scan!

@mamabear4 so glad your scan went well with your twins. Do you know if they are identical (not sure what the right technical term is) yet?

Happy birthday @Miami81!

Glad your scan went well @Hazandduck! Must have been so magical.

@AmyB1986 thats so adorable Grin

@TheLegendofBeans that comment about cycling made me giggle!

@yellowfrontdoor your story made me so sad Sad Just awful how you were treated on probably the most painful moment when you need so much more support. I am so sorry.

I remember fishing my baby out of the toilet and looking at it and then crying and crying and crying. It was awful and thinking about it now makes me want to cry Sad.

I have my 16 week appointment in about an week and a half and keeping going from hopeful to anxious. I keep thinking that so many things can change between the 12 week scan and the 16 week appointment and I am almost dreading it because I fear I may get some bad news. This is so exhausting!

Hazandduck · 28/06/2017 22:51

I did the fish out of the toilet too :( then didn't know what to do so put it back down and flushed it. I still wonder if it was the right thing to do :(

Thanks for all the messages guys :) Did anyone watch the channel 4 show on GPs behind the scenes tonight? There was a part with a woman who had two miscarriages, listening to her talk about it made me tear up. Everything she said was so true x

NoParticularPattern · 28/06/2017 22:52

So pleased to hear so much good news on here today. God I can't tell you how much you ladies have kept me firmly attached to the ground.

On the upside the very attractive, slim, male doctor today announced that I do indeed have a cervical ectropion and I also apparently have thrush. Why are they always young, male and very attractive?! What on earth possesses them to want to look at women's bits for a living? I'm just hoping he's gay and wasn't scarred for life by my apparently very obvious cervical issues! Although I don't think I've ever been so relieved to have someone say the words "ooh yes you've definitely got an ectropion there!" Blush

purpleviolet1 · 28/06/2017 22:59

Massive wave to everyone here, was just skimming through my watched threads and I was last on number 14 or 15, had to track this thread down to say I am so incredibly happy to see Brenna on here, also Amy you were in the very early stages when I was last here, hazzanduck too, Miami also ! Apologies for anyone I've missed.

DS is now 3.5 months and although we had a rough start with CMPA and severe reflux, I can honestly say the journey, however tough it was with my health issues and two miscarriages, is absolutely incredibly worth it. Hang on in there ladies!! If I can do it, anyone can!

Hazandduck · 28/06/2017 23:22

Aw lovely to hear from you @purpleviolet, the time has gone surprisingly quickly although those early weeks feel painfully slow when you are struggling through them don't they! Lovely to hear you and your son are doing well :) xx

AmyB1986 · 28/06/2017 23:28

@purpleviolet1 wow that's for so fast! Glad to hear you're settled and your DS is doing well.

Tonight is the most I've felt little one move, she's dancing around like a ballerina! When DH talks she stops like she's listening to him. I read around this stage babies start to recognise voices, maybe that's why she stops. I never paid much attention to developmental stages in my pregnancies with my other dd's, maybe through fear but I'm trying to make the most of this pregnancy. All my daughters are incredibly special to me but some how I cherish this pregnancy more as it's going to be my last one.
I'm actually really excited now.
The worries I had in the beginning have almost completely subsided, obviously I do worry if she's growing at the right pace and about early labour etc but not so much that it's causing me to be a total stress head.

As purple said, it is totally worth every second of stress and worry and everyone in the early stages I'm sure will get to the point I'm at now. All of us here deserve a happy ending and a baby to love and cherish.
We are all so strong and a little self belief can go a long way.

Hi can I join you ladies (cautiously) I'm almost 5 weeks pregnant had mmc in may 16 and early mc in Feb this year 5 children already and mcs before they came along... I'm b*dy terrified over thinking every symptom or lack of boobs have been in bits but not as bad now to early to feel sick some mild aches in my pelvis I know I had with my other successful pregnancies but the boobs have me twitched and I'm driving myself mad help Confused

Brenna24 · 29/06/2017 09:53

Hugs JC and Haz. I am so glad we were told it was going to happen first time and we could prepare and decide what we wanted. That saved me from any fishing or flushing (I sacrificed my kitchen sieve and had a very complicated toilet arrangement).

Grin Pattern. At least you can be sure yours wasn't the only one he saw that day and you will blend into the crowd.

Hi Purple. So glad you are out the other end. I hope things settle now you know about the CMPA. Really good to see you.

Hi and welcome Miniemouse. You are over the first hurdle in getting in here. I wish you an easy ride through with no worrying bleeding and plenty of sympotms.

Speaking of which I feel like death today. This is the most sick I have ever felt in a pregnancy, even further on. I hope this is a good sign.

CL1982 · 29/06/2017 10:03

We have had x3 mcs and i'm being so positive about this pregnancy as cynicism is just exhausting! I'm actually feeling really good about it :)

We were booked into the recurrent mc clinic via the NHS but the wait was 3 months and we seem to get getting a good 'hit' ratio with pregnancy so we went through my work health insurance. Thank goodness we did! On high doe folic acid, prog suppositories and baby aspirin.

Alb1 · 29/06/2017 15:30

Hello, I used to be on here, DD is now 12 weeks old (1 week corrected) and it kept it sane. I was just popping back on to see if there's any news from knorrig yet? She must be due around now. Lovely to see some familiar names from the ttc thread doing well, especially glad to see brenna over here Smile and purple I'm glad things are going well for you too

TheLegendOfBeans · 29/06/2017 16:07

Alb!

How is she doing? X

SayItIsntSo1 · 29/06/2017 16:43

So much good news on the thread this week. I hope it stays that way and those having a stressful time get some respite!

@Alb1 lovely to hear from you! I hope you and baby are keeping well?

@purpleviolet1 glad you're also doing ok and lovely of you to pop back and say hello.

I am in a mad dash this evening to clear my work and put the out of office on for a week. Treated DH and I to some naice chocolates on my way through the station towards home. Probably a couple of hours on the laptop until I can relax.

Taking DD to see In The Night Garden tomorrow. She can't wait... I'd rather stick forks in my eyes. The things we do for our kids eh?! Grin

Alb I've been following your thread, really glad to hear your DD is doing well!

What did JPEG have?

Brenna24 · 29/06/2017 21:25

Hi Alb good to hear things are going so well. Enjoy your little one.

NoParticularPattern · 29/06/2017 21:33

I'm having my absolute arse kicked by pregnancy today. I've been on the verge of vomiting all day and so tired I could cry definitely didn't. I'm off for a nice long bath and then to brush my teeth, followed by a delightful 20mins of trying to be sick into the toilet, but only managing to bring up bile. Which negates the prior tooth brushing! Lovely! My OH just keeps saying that it's a good thing and that means everything is doing ok! I might want to hurt him a little bit right now. I just want to be HUNGRY again!

Hope everyone else is doing ok today.

peachgreen · 29/06/2017 21:35

I feel you pattern, today has been my worst day yet! This nausea is kicking my ass. Just want to feel normal - or at least not sick - for ten minutes! Booking in appointment tomorrow and I should be excited but I just feel so rotten and nothing helps. Wah.

NoParticularPattern · 29/06/2017 21:43

It's horrible isn't it peach?! I just want to be able to enjoy food again. I've not eaten a proper meal in weeks on account of the fact that I can't stand to cook anything because of the smells. It's killing me but I guess I can't be so hard done by as I've not really lost any weight. God it is just so horrible to feel like this all the time. I wish I could just take something for a bit of relief!!

theotherendofthesockportal · 29/06/2017 21:52

@peachgreen and @NoParticularPattern it does get better I promise! I woke up on the morning of hiring 18 weeks and felt like a new woman. I hope you both don't have to wait until 18 weeks though!

At 20 weeks I now want to eat everything! Must resist the chocolates! I do not need to get and fatter!

NoParticularPattern · 29/06/2017 21:56

That's all I've got keeping me going sock. That it will get better and I will feel ok again. I just wish I knew of a decent remedy so I don't have to be a miserable git on our wedding day haha!

beanhunter · 29/06/2017 22:25

Ugh. More bleeding this evening. Had been pink tinged cm which was intermittent but just had a clot when I wiped. Was after managing to have poo for the first time in 5 days. Now stressing again. Boobs still sore but some pain and less sick today. This is hard. I'm sure epau wouldn't be interested would they? I was only scanned on Tuesday.

peachgreen · 29/06/2017 22:36

@beanhunter Did they check your cervix when you had your scan? Cervical bleeding can be aggravated by bowel movements, especially if it's a struggle. So sorry you're having to deal with this. :(
