I actually tried to not get my hopes too high this time as afraid of miscarrying again, the devestation I felt today though told me I had got my hopes up anyway. But yes, my boobs weren't sore and I stopped feeling so sick. I had brown spotting for a couple of weeks as well but because it was brown, they weren't that interested.

I'm so sorry catlady. Be kind to yourself and let yourself grieve in whatever way you need to get through each moment. 💐

Halloumi I'm so sorry things are getting worse for you. Desperately hoping there is something else causing the bleeding.

Oh @halloumisandwich, I'm absolutely gutted for you. I really really pray that everything is okay at the scan tomorrow. It's just too cruel.

cat look after yourself, I think we all find that hard on here- the balance between not getting our hopes up but (quite rightly) getting excited about our pregnancies.

cat sorry I never seen your post yesterday and just catching up! Both my MMC have been due to trisomy losses so it could be the same for you, it's trisomy 16 that caused both of mine and that doesn't survive passed 6-8weeks, like you I seen a HB last time but by a week later everything had stopped. The o my relief I took from it is there is nothing they can do or give you to prevent it as it's down to genetics!

How are you feeling, tea? When is your next scan?

Hi all, afraid i'm bowing out. So much pain and so many clots overnight. EPU have been their usual useful selves and when I called this morning told me not to come in and when I said 'this is my second, what should I do?' Just said to make a GP appointment. I know there's nothing they could do and they're under lots of pressure but they're always so dismissive!

I am so sorry halloumi, beyond gutted for you. Please mind yourself and give yourself all the time you need to physically recover. The mental stuff as well, but you will find your own way through that stuff, take all the help, hugs etc that you can bear. I got some counselling after my second mc and really feel like it helped me keep on going.

halloumi I was hoping to check in this morning and see Better news, I'm sorry it's got worse and it's terrible the way epu treat people sometimes, I hope it's as easy as it can be for you

Anxious I have had three consec mc, the last two were mmc too. Both stopped developing around 6-7 weeks. I feel very lost, we have just this month started trying again but I feel like even if I got a positive test it doesn't mean much. I'm not going to tell anyone next time, my family would only be concerned for me.
Does anyone know the earliest you might have pg symptoms? I'm feeling vaguely nauseous and shattered but only dtd a week ago... that can only be coincidence?

lifeofpies im doing ok, next scan is next monday! Tryi g not to get my hopes up but looking back at period tracker (app on phone) I had weird spotting a while after period (not implanation) so that could have messed my cycle/ovulation up, plus that was 1st period after d&c so body wasn't necessarily back to normal

I've had a loss of symptoms today and now I'm terrified. Called the MW and got through to a different one so she took notes and is getting mine to call me back.
I've had some weird pain so she said she wanted to do swabs?! But I just want to see if my baby is ok hoping she calls me back and refers me to epu for a scan.
I've had a MMC before so this feels like deja vu.

I hope all is ok Mogul. I have had 3 times when my symptoms have gone for about 48 hours this pregnancy. Each time they have come back and my last scan showed all was well. I hope you are the same.

That's difficult isn't it tea... I was told I'd have more chance of getting pg in the months after my Erpc, were you told the same?

Mogul I'm also symptomless at the moment, have been since Sunday and am feeling v anxious about it (so glad to read it's happened to you and been ok, Brenna). I hope the mw is helpful. Can you get a referral to epau without mw?

brenna thanks that is reassuring. pies I'm still waiting for the midwife to call me back! I don't want to pester her so il just wait for now.
I'm new to this area so no idea how the epu works, if I knew they wouldn't scan I'd probably just pay for a private one. But I'm still clinging onto the hope I can get one for free.
My actual dating scan is next Thursday and I don't think I can wait that long.

Just caught up on this thread and so much sad news.

I'm also annoyed at the attitude of some of the medical "professionals" you guys have experienced too. Compassion costs nothing even if NHS budgets are bust.

Halloumi I'm so incredibly sorry. It's so completely shit. I'm sorry EPU have just left you hanging... I really hope you are able to see the GP and they are more helpful and compassionate. ❤️
