Miami and brenna thanks for the advice!! I got a stick of 4head today, it is really soothing especially when I lie with the window open and a breeze coming in. I also tried an apple and it seemed to work, I'm not sure if it was the placebo effect but bought a load of pink ladies in!
It definitely feels like something's out of whack - I'm same miami, drinking loads and wee is clear but feel dehydrated, my mouth is a bit furry too. Interesting about electrolytes I'm going to look into that a bit more xx

Hello to all newcomers! 👋

AmyB1986 · 16/07/2017 23:48

@FuzzyOwl congrats and welcome... sure I remember you from the conception thread a while back!

I feel terrible again! Upset stomach at the min, don't know what's causing it. Quite worried the stomach pain isn't to do with my guts. Keeping an eye on it and if it gets worse I'll be going to mau to get checked out.
Baby is moving a lot so I know she's alright in there with what ever is going on.
Fingers crossed I can sleep and it'll be gone by the morning

FuzzyOwl · 17/07/2017 09:09

Thank you @AmyB1986 Could the stomach pain be caused by a uti? Sometimes they have given me awful pains but are very easily treated if so. Really hope it is something minor and goes soon.

AmyB1986 · 17/07/2017 10:03

@FuzzyOwl it may be a uti but it's kind of gone off now. When I tested my urine at work on Friday it was clear but I know they can develop quickly so I'll pop into my gp with a sample later on today just to get a second opinion.
It feel more like I've eaten something dodgy.

theotherendofthesockportal · 17/07/2017 12:00

Is anyone around for a hand hold? I'm in the waiting room at maternity triage as I haven't felt the baby move for over 12 hours. I'm waiting for my husband to get here. Feeling so upset as it's the week of my due date from my mmc. I'm so scared that this is a bad omen

Thank you @AnUtterIdiot - I'm 22+4

Hazandduck · 17/07/2017 12:28

Oh @sock I'm here holding hand firmly xx movements are sporadic any way at this stage and maybe baby moved while you were sleeping or could have just turned around so it's not facing a spot you can feel. Have you spoken to your midwife too? Xx

Hazandduck · 17/07/2017 12:29

Also with the due date anniversary it is easy to be extra anxious, I'm not saying that to belittle your fears, but I know I start thinking superstitiously when it's an anniversary and feeling like it will definitely happen on those dates. The odds are in fact really low xx

Sock
Another hand hold here. Had my second mc due date last week and was hugely convinced that it was all just going to stop on Monday (due date), so I know that the anniversary dates can be very difficult. I haven't felt any movements yet so don't have any advice, but I am sure that everything I have read suggests they can be sporadic up to a point. I hope they see you quickly and put your mind at ease.
What's the next milestone you have in your head? Mine is 20 week scan, then 24 wk, then 28 wk at which point I may start to believe a bit more...
We are thinking of you.

NoParticularPattern · 17/07/2017 12:49

Afternoon ladies!! I need to do a proper catch up as I've been AWOL for a few days due to the wedding! I'm now officially a Mrs!

We also had our 12 week scan today but measuring a couple of days behind so official due date is 2nd Feb! Very surreal to see baby moving around in there but not being able to feel a thing!

Hope you ladies are doing ok- I will have a catch up tonight when everyone has gone home and I've done a bit more tidying!

peachgreen · 17/07/2017 12:52

@theotherendofthesockportal Hand hold from here. Fingers crossed it's just that the baby has shifted position and all is okay. Thinking of you so much.

@NoParticularPattern Congratulations on your wedding!

Brenna24 · 17/07/2017 13:30

Hi and welcome EmFe and fuzzy. I hope you have sticky beans this time.

Home straight SayIt. How exciting. I hope baby moves a bit and you feel less uncomfortable again soon.

Glad you are feeling better Mama

I hope your tummy gets better soon amy.

Sock I hope all is well. Holding your hand all the way. Hugs. I hope baby is just being lazy or moving somewhere you can't feel it.

Congratultions Mrs Pattern. I hope you had a great day. Flowers

DancingUnicorn · 17/07/2017 13:38

Hand hold sock. Hope your dh is with you now and of course that everything is fine.

SayItIsntSo1 · 17/07/2017 13:39

@theotherendofthesockportal another hand hold here. I hope everything is ok.

@noparticularpattern congratulations on your nuptials!

[sockportal] another hand hold here. Sending best wishes your way, hope you get seen soon.

WillowCloud · 17/07/2017 14:09

Another lurker popping a tentative head in

I'm bang on 6 weeks today and obsessively knicker/tissue watching for the slightest sign that this one won't stick. Also experiencing the tan discharge EmFe and having a minor panic. Just wish I could fast-forward this phase.

Offering another hand hold to Sock - hope everything is alright.

Hazandduck · 17/07/2017 14:31

Ok so @sock after my reassuring you, I've just been on the phone to my local maternity unit and going in at 4.30 for a check because I've had a lot of clear watery discharge :( panicking! I know I'm probably being paranoid but I feel like my bump looks smaller. I can't stop crying! It's the anniversary of my first miscarriage last year and I am a state. 23 weeks today and I just want to relax but there is always something else sending me in to a tailspin x

theotherendofthesockportal · 17/07/2017 14:54

Thank you ladies, I am overwhelmed by the support you have offered me, there are too many of you to thank individually, you are all awesome!

The maternity triage were lovely, they told me that I had done the right thing especially as I seem to have a regular pattern of movements. Turns out that baby had been kicking but kicking the anterior placenta. She even kicked the Doppler when I was being checked.

@Hazandduck I'm here holding your hand in return. Thinking of you, and urging you not to get upset. We are all here 💐

Hazandduck · 17/07/2017 14:57

Thank you @sock. Pregnancy is so hard after miscarriage! So glad everything was ok with your little girl. This thread is amazing for support xx

AmyB1986 · 17/07/2017 15:00

@theotherendofthesockportal so glad everything is ok and your baby girl is all good in there.

@Hazandduck here with a hand hold for you. Always best to get checked out. I had a lot of clear watery discharge a few weeks back, it was just discharge luckily and nothing else. Lots of it though, soaked my undies.

@Brenna24 my tummy feels a lot better now. Completely back to normal. Dropped a sample into my gp earlier, tested negative so it must have been something I ate disagreeing with me.

DancingUnicorn · 17/07/2017 15:16

Hope all is ok haz. Joining the giant circle of hands for you. Try to breathe. 💐
